Honestly could just be that when you’re at your college, every girl your age is almost likely at college too along with most dudes In DC, theres a lot of young professional guys that are stable in their career so girls will go towards them, probably doesn’t have anything to do with your looks

Thanks king, needed to hear that I’m just overthinking it.

Going to the gym and learning guitar are awesome and will make you enjoy life more, full stop. Don’t do them for women, do them to see how high you can climb by improving your skills at both. But as for advice, your thread says “I want to socialize with more women so I’ve been going to the gym(famously a place where women don’t want to be bothered) and learning guitar (quite literally a solitary activity)” Can you see how those two things don’t make you social? Social things are like going to a …

Do you think this subreddit is close to propaganda? So much of it is satire but everyone convinces themselves it's real because they want to hate these people.

Do you think this subreddit is full of propaganda?

If no one does believe it, are you being misled? If you can't prove that it's a real belief, you can't be like "well it COULD be real!" because you're wrong, it's not real, and you're reading a subreddit full of basically propaganda and not-recognized-satire to make you believe it could be real

Can you show me a single person who supports this for the stimulus? If you cant, why are you so confident? All I'm asking for is 1 example

Its satire, does it feel good that you were so easily tricked?

Where has anyone proposed this? I hate these kinds of subs because more than half of it are jokes and satire, but every person who reads the subs convinces themselves that it's real and a majority of people think like this Its almost like propaganda man its scary to watch

Where has anyone actually proposed giving women more? You're just making stuff up man

I'm not talking about her, what would an imaginary female friend of yours do to make it obvious she's interested in you? Do that

Have you ever presented yourself to her as a potential sexual partner? If not, you have to realize that it's going to be hars. If all you do with her is study, then moving from that to bring viewed as a romantic interest is hard because you've known each other for a while only as study mates

you have an incredibly toxic view of women and act very standoffish in that post. Take a look at your actions and ask yourself if they're the actions of a fun to be around person

Yes, it does. Confidence makes a huge effect. Showing that you take pride in and take care of your body makes a huge effect. There's no downside to going to the gym. Just do it, stop asking all over the thread how much of an affect it'll have.

Getting more fit comes with other things than just a muscular body. It changes the way you think about self-improvement and just simply makes you more confident. Lifting weight and cardio just make you feel good, man. Why on earth would you not spend just a few days a week making yourself feel better all the time?

I would probably not pose it as a question, and instead just text something like, "Okay, I'll text when I'm out of work/classes. we'll go to (some place) and (get specific food/do activity)

I can imagine there's similarity in female dominated spaces. I don't think any guy is alright with women talking about their boyfriend's dick size to other women but apparently that happens quite a bit

I 100% and honestly believe lifting has changed the way I view everything. It's more just exercise. I think, for me at least, it's an absolute necessity to keep my mind in a positive state. If I fall behind and don't go to the gym for a week, my inner state is remarkably different

I've been thinking about this but my dancing has always been a source of insecurity for me. It's illogical, but I would feel bad for whoever I'm dancing with that they have to deal with a person with absolutely new skill when they're just trying to have fun How did you deal with getting past this when you started?

key word is the MAYBE Any generalization is wrong. Saying it's always you or always them is wrong and small minded. I think the idea is that you'll be able to tell if it's on you or on them If you can't tell when it's you causing them pain, then you aren't at the level of the OP's quote and it doesn't apply to you yet Not to bring in bullshit "high level of mind" shit, but that's the best way I can think of to explain

Tip that's helped me: don't label yourself or other people. Label as having alpha tendencies or beta tendencies. Makes moving from one group to the other as a person a lot easier because all you have to do is start showing different tendencies

Change the way you think. Your comment is not positive or helpful or strong in any way. Rephrase it as "I'm working on being more dominant and figuring out how to display more attractive qualities." Boom. Defining yourself with those characteristics and inner state gives you power to change and a head start over 80% of men. Never again say, I'm not active. I'm not this. I only like video games and don't like hikes (this isn't about you, those are just the first two examples of negative and posit…

I'm in kind of the same situation as you except thankfully all my friends also transitioned out of gaming if that's not a possibility (as in, your friends don't start actively wanting to join in with non gaming things and planning their own shit), search around for a meetup or adult class or group outing for one of those activities. You'll have a great time and meet people who like the same shit you do

If you tell yourself you're not funny and not confident, fucking obviously that's exactly what you're going to be Reframe your story as a "I am confident because I try every day to do so". Attitude shapes everything man

'Someone to date' is a sign for anyone on tinder If a girl tells me that, 6/10 times I'm going to drop that conversation. There's probably girls out there who think the same and aren't trying to find a committed relationship off of that silly phone app Maybe you saying that threw her off

didn't go out this weekend, but next Friday and Saturday I'm gonna be downtown doing whatever the fuck I want. Fuck yeah man My dad's sort of the same way, but my mom doesn't really do what it sounds like yours does. It's definitely hard to realize your father isn't the type of man you want to be

That video was crazy man. Really eye-opening. It's something that I think everyone knows but seeing it laid bare as an absolute fact is striking

You gotta like yourself Find cool things to do on the weekends and invite people to them. Don't be too focused on any one girl, but if you see one you like here's the frame you use: invite her into your fun world. Don't beg her to fulfill a hole in your life

Pretty sure she's fishing for compliments. I would answer with something like "To show you my dark sex dungeon" or something equally as dumb and playful as that. if you aren't that kind of guy I might say "Because you're beautiful" or some corny shit like that

Damn man this is a fantastic response. Text game has always been a weak spot and this post perfectly exposed why. Thanks for the insight All in all I'm not too worried about my shitty response, this girl is still crazy about me. I've just been trying to not ruin it through text

Then move on my man. Know you're going to hate me for saying that but it's not going to happen. You aren't Jim and she's not Pam, you're two completely different people living vivid lives and you need to take her off a pedestal Edit: just realized this might have seemed bitter. The point of this is to move on to other girls. No point focusing on one if you could be bouncing between three. This is the best way. Once you get with different girls and people in general you'll realize she was just a …

Great post, sometimes going silent and waiting for the girl to contribute to the conversation is good. Another piece of advice I have is when you do go quiet in the middle of a conversation, frame it as if you're waiting for them to speak, not that you've run out of steam. Make the girl feel bad for not contributing her fair share and she'll open up to you incredibly fast in my experience
