If you can't get a single good photo, it's probably not time to leave monk mode.

If you have a great relationship with a kid that you love don't ruin that because someone on an internet forum said to. There's a lot of anger and resentment on here and a lot of dubious advice. While I wouldn't recommend getting involved with children that aren't yours, this girl is your daughter's sister and I'm assuming she sees you as a father figure already.

The not responding is a good move. When she messages for the 2nd time (she will), read it instantly but don't reply for several hours, if not a day. You are busy, you are desirable, you are talking to other girls and you don't have time for bullshit.

You didn't make a strong enough impression, I believe. Ignore her. If she reinitiates then she is still interested. If she doesn't then who gives a fuck.

...she accuses me to be talking with girls. Your response is to chuckle, knowingly.

Tinder, my friend. If you can't get a single match, more monk mode for you.

You lost attraction at some point. With the limited information you've provided it's going to be impossible to pinpoint the problem exactly, however girls don't just stop fancying a guy because he didn't try to fuck them after 30 minutes. My guess would be you became too invested and displayed too many beta qualities. I wouldn't have let a few bar sluts decide what I'm doing for the night. "Well we're going to this other bar. Coming or not?" Sounds a bit more alpha, doesn't it?

She sees you as beta/orbiter is my guess. The one good thing you did was to suggest ending it. Do that again.

Ok then. I know Bangkok, where do you go? Clubs or bars? What clubs, what bars? Do you go for hi-so girls or fresh from the village types? You game by yourself or with others? I'd like details. I've had success there, it's certainly a lot easier, but not close to 100% laid rate when I go out. I will concede Tinder is ludicrously easy however, providing you're young, white and not ugly.

You're not as far along as you think you are. If shit tests feel like a problem to you, then you're simply not good enough at dealing with them. Also, when you look around you don't have to make eye contact. Next time you notice a girl giving you eye contact, don't reciprocate but look in her direction but a little away from her. Maybe at something behind her. Hold it for a few seconds then look away. Observe her behaviour after.

Personally, I think it's loads better. It's a million times more practical than 48 laws, a bit more dry but far more useful. It'll tell you exactly what power entails, how to get it and what the consequences are - using examples entirely from modern hierarchies (business, politics etc). The author of Power actually criticises the 48 laws book for its impracticality. I haven't read much of Carnegie's book but it seems like it's more of a general how-to guide on being social, too contrasting to di…

I'd love to read that story.

It is. Read 'Power: Why Some People Have It and Others Don't' by Jeffrey Pfeffer. It elucidates the inside world of office politics and tells you how to get ahead. Many bitter truths inside, but that's why we're all here, right? An absolute must read.

Why on earth are you playing this utterly juvenile and childish game? You are a man. When you walk past anyone: Eye contact and either nod or "Morning/Afternoon/Hello". Also stop thinking about her.

Like everything in life, there's a reason no-one invited you, and it was probably to do with you. If you were going consistently you had already done the first (and possibly hardest) part. Nearly everyone who goes to sports clubs is open to making friends, the opportunity was there and you didn't take it. I'm guessing that you didn't make small talk or connections with the people there. Maybe you did but your social skills are not developed enough to make people want to hang out with you more. E…

Ignore it. Maybe with a cocky smirk that makes it clear you are ignoring her, ala amused mastery. Don't feel like you have to respond to every stupid thing she says. If she pushes for an answer, a knowing chuckle followed by a ruffling of the top of her head and a "Get me a beer" would work well. Your frame, your terms. There are other effective responses, but this is my personal preference.

Om: no Lucy asks why. Om: busy She begs. She pleads. Says that she has to see me tonight. Om: chinas here More begging. More pleading. I put my phone on silent. Me and Fine China get busy. I usually consider you a flawless contributor but I'm a bit surprised by this. Why do you even message back at all? I'm guessing you are throwing preselection in her face by being so direct (in the third message), but she is already a plate and completely ignoring her (or maybe just sending the first message) …

From the fact that you said you don't have a circle of friends, I'm guessing you are not good socially. That's undesirable for a lot of reasons. Luckily, you can change it. You need to start talking to people more and it should be in environments that are not too mentally taxing. If you find the idea of chatting to randoms in a nightclub terrifying, don't do it yet. Small talk with service staff is good but not sufficient. Ideally you want to be in a position where you talk to them in a friend-t…

Why are you so invested in someone you haven't met? Arrange to meet up, if she doesn't acquiesce then ignore her. Either she'll message you, ready to make plans, or you won't hear from her again. Problem solved.
