In my experience there is no differencing between broing out with a guy and hitting on a girl. Same thing, just different levels of kino.

I feel kind of weird since other people don't know that Ah, but they do! Either you say "Hey, I'm new here" or they will already know since they have never seen you before. Being self-aware of your newness is simple: instead of suggestions elsewhere that say like "Go to a bar, casually chat with people, find common ties, blah blah blah", you can just go up to people and say "Hi I need friends blah blah blah". Obviously don't say exactly that, but you get my point. When you're a kid, you picked f…

You're new. You're allowed to be overly friendly and make friends. More specifically, you're allowed to be self-aware. Use that to your advantage.

For interviews, remember who the most powerful person in the building is: the secretary. If you are a dick to the secretary, often the brass will know. I watched a guy get rejected from an Ivy League graduate school because he was a dick in the waiting room. Always make conversation with the secretary. Bring flowers if you can.

One time there were two cute girls in the car in front of me and my friend. We were at a stoplight, so I put the car in park, got out, and tapped on their window and asked for their numbers.

He kinda shits on extroverts pretty hard. He implies that extroverts always follow the crowd and aren't free thinkers or doctors or poets and such.

The fear for me is of losing them. k sounds like you know what to work on then. What if I had the worst day of all time and just want to be with that person but it corresponds with a period where I really should be pulling back? do what you want. that happens to me a lot too. often i can be very smothering since i'm loud, i talk a lot, and i'm very hyperactive.. when i'm first getting to know someone i try really hard not to overload them with seydar. but after that, they're fair game. if i want…

The nice thing about using a stock AFC is it's easier as a learning device. You can visualize what an average frustrated chump would do, versus generic "awkward around girls" behavior.

You certainly owned him and I agree, I don't think he's likely to try asserting himself over you anytime soon, but you also alienated yourself from him; he will likely never be your friend. I'm still looking for a way to eliminate the threat of asserted dominance without alienating someone.

I figured I shouldn't lose it randomly, but I didn't want pomp and circumstance to be playing. My guiding rule was that I should lose it in a manner that I would be proud to tell my grandkids. So I lost it on the roof of my high school as it gently rained on us.

Yeah, I've given up on subtlety. Either they get the hint and you didn't have to be subtle, or they didn't get it and you basically didn't do anything. So I increase the success rate of my subtleness to 100% by not being subtle at all.

Really? I thought it was rather interesting and insightful, especially the part about how Freud thought that civilization was built on the channeling of the male sex drive. Whether you agree with it or not, it's certainly interesting to think about. I also greatly enjoyed the use of statistics in the article so that it wasn't pure speculation.

Keep in touch with as many of your existing acquaintances as possible I agree with this 100%. The internet has made this very much possible. However, some people do not agree with this. It's called "gather information" for a reason. You don't have to make things up. It's not where you take things from, it's where you take things to.

it would seem that way but you'd be surprised at how small of a sample size you'd need for something to be accurate. for a 95% confidence level and 5% margin of error out of a population of 40,000 you only need 381 people.

What IS the proper way to approach a girl to get her to dance when it's too loud to really speak?
/r/seduction09/12/11 09:24 PM

You're right, this might not be flirting, but I don't think I would do anything differently if I were trying to get a girl. Do you think my conflating the two might be why I have trouble closing?

Oh, I shook their hands absolutely. I like to pretend I'm a politician. I heard that when Bill Clinton spoke to you, you felt like he was your best friend, so I try to do that when I speak to people. Eye contact (don't waiver or look away first) is important. Shook the girls' hands as well. One thing I do sometimes if I'm the center of attention is play it up. My personal trick is when they give me their hand I kneel somewhat and kiss it. It's showy, but if you are the center of attention, I oft…

Maybe it's my fault. Maybe I led you to believe it was easy when it wasn't. Maybe made you think my highlights started at the free throw line, and not in the gym. Maybe I made you think that every shot I took was a game winner. That my game was built on flash, and not fire. Maybe it's my fault that that you didn't see that failure gave me strength; That my pain gave my motivation. Maybe I led you to believe that basketball was a God given gift, and not something I worked for... every single day …

On a slightly different note, I'll add that there's a certain maturation process that happens when you lose your virginity. You immediately change and lot of chemicals and hormones are sent around that affect who you are. So lyk, fun fact of the day, holmes.

Know what behaviour from women you will not accept (push) I personally try to never push someone away. I think it might be a minor obsession I have with being "famous" (having a lot of people know me and generally like me), but I always consider it a big mistake to push someone away. That's how you make enemies, IMHO, and while I don't mind keeping enemies, I avoid making them. What are your thoughts on pushing vs. not-pulling?

Pretty much the same. Since I really like dancing and am tall and my elbows are out of control, I've been described as a cross between Billy Elliott and Fight Club, but I'm working on fixing that. I find that just having fun and eliciting energy will get you any girl. I try to live my life like Ke$ha and make sure that when I walk in the party fucking starts.

Flirting with parents is such a great tool, especially when you live at home. Whenever I meet parents I make sure to bring my A game. Actually I think I did it so well that a mom friended me on facebook once. I had to turn her down though.

Well done! Clearly you did everything right. You went hard in the motherfucking paint. How does seddit feel about K-closing with a girl in a relationship, though?

I do this. If a girl isn't playing along, then I call her out for being boring. If I routinely run into her, I'll be friendly and excited to see her, but will assign her permanently the nickname "boring girl". Generally they will try to prove me wrong, that they're not boring.

I don't try to hide it. If someone asks what's wrong, I'll tell them in a brief summary. I don't wear my emotions on my sleeve, but I'm not a lockbox, either. It's a great way for people to show that they care about you and it makes for great conversation, especially if you approach your problems sanely.
