Similar to a market but is not. The difference, is that on a market, the goal is to sell tha biggest amount of your profuct to the public. On the romantic field, your goal is to "sell yourself" just to the person you want. The problem, is that most PUA and internet gurus, focus on the purpose of having sucess with many women, rather than one. Those are the guys who say "i kissed 20 woman at one night" or stuff like that. If you want to achieve this, yes is a market and you are a product, and to …

Neutral is most like dont having a point of view, or having a point of view not related neither with feminism or masculinism. "I take ideas from both sides" is that take what you like from both feminism or masculinism
/r/ExRedPill21/02/24 09:27 PM

If thats the case, we arent talking anymore about sex, but about emotional connections, which are, evidently a human need. But emotional connections are different than only sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:56 AM

Well, i never said we SHOULD live without sex, but that we dont need it. Hamburgers are delicious, as sex is great. But we shouldnt rely our happiness or the stabiluty of a relationship on eating hamburguers or having sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:50 AM

Not a moral reason, but personally, i DONT LIKE masturbation. Like, i feel is very addictive. Yes, it reliefs streess for a moment but after that you feel more stress because you feel the urge of masturbating again. Is like drugs. This is just personal experience since there are not a lot of serious conversations about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:46 AM

On my personal experience, things i like: -Playing music -Going with friends outside -Reaching a personal goal (deportive, intelectual, etc) -Overcoming a personal problem. -Reading books -Talking with someone i love Yes. Sex feeling is stronger when you have sex, but the satisfaction is bigger on other things. Again, im not saying sex is bad, but sex is not the best thing on life, is not what i feel proud about myself or my purpose on life. There are deeper things.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:41 AM

Is possible. I know some successfull marriages. Is not the most common thing, but is possible. I guess there is something most people is doing wrong to get so many failed marriages About the old people, is a well known fact around psicologyst and therapists that this happens.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:36 AM

Animals can also live without sex. In fact, most pets are recommended to get sterilized, and many never have sex, but live a happy life
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:26 AM

Im not talking about just mere survival. You can live a happy life without sex. Marriages, as they get old, they stop having sex. But they are still able to love each other. Is true thar having sex makes a big bond between you and your partner. Yes. But is not the only way to do it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 07:22 AM

Agree. Followers can say pretty stupid things. The important thing is to look for the actual truth and build your belief around it
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:58 AM

Agree with you on the part that there are needs we have to be happy (freedom, resting, social life, shelter, etc) but, why we should include sex as one of them?
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:52 AM

Is different to have sex than to have a romantic connection. You can have sex without romance and romance without sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:50 AM

Dark pill people get depressed not because a biological lack of sex. In fact, i am sure they masturbate a lot more than the average person, and many of them paid a prostitute to get some sex. This does not solve the problem by sure They are depressed because the lack of acceptation of the opposite sex. Feeling insufficient to be attractive for someone else. Lack of social skills and genuine connections.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:45 AM

Sunlight is a biological need. Is the way we generate vitamin D, and is the regulator of the circadian rythms. All the other situations you mention have been proven to drive to insanity to the people live with them (people without freedom, locked on a room, or even without human touch) Sex is different. There are many people who lived without sex and nothing special happened to them. There is not cases of people who get a disease because they dont had sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:35 AM

Yes, sex is not a need, but many people thinks it is (just check the comments). Dangerous belief, since thinking is "a need" means that if i have no sex, somehow something bad will happen to me. And thats how you become addicted to sex (that isnt pretty neither)
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:26 AM

But i want to share it.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:21 AM

Not because you NEED it, but because you WANT it. Because it will make you happy
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:19 AM

You hitted a nail. Yes, thats the big problem of many men today. Still, the belief of we NEEDING sex as we need food, for me is very destructive, and thats why im writing this
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:18 AM

Thats a minor percentage of monks, like also there is a minor percentage of people who are not religious or celibate and also make horrible crimes. See jeffrey epstein and his party of friends for example.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:17 AM

My point is you can live a fulfilling life, even on extreme celibacy situations like the ones mentioned before. So we as normal people, should not be worried or anxious because we had no sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:11 AM

But most people dont have sex for having children, but for pleasure. This is bad? No. The bad thing is when you make that a need and you get depressed if you dont have it, or you became anxious because somewhy you think you need sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:06 AM

Also many people with low mental health have a lot of sex. Both sides. In my case, well, i was diagnosed with ADHD as a child (adhd makes impulses like sexdrive higher), and was addicted to porn a lot of time. My libido is not quite small. But realized that the wrong belief that you NEED sex makes you do pretty stupid things just to appease your supposed need.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 06:01 AM

Social interaction is necessary, for sure. But there are no denmostrated negative consequences of abstinence. If i am wrong tell me. Open to debate.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 05:48 AM

My experience is kind of different. I agree that many men become emotionally unstable because lack of sex, but this is mainly because of the psicological conflict of being rejected by the opposite sex, and the shame many people feel becajse of this (the incel movement by example). Still, there are many individuals who for whatever reason are unable to have sex (eunuchs, people with injuries, many old people, monks, religious people, asexual people) who simply live normal. Not saying we should be…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 05:43 AM

Yes, agree with you. But many people do it. Is a big problem. Some people even commited suicide because of this. Even if a post on reddit is not the definitive solution, i think this should help
/r/PurplePillDebate21/02/24 05:38 AM

Well, there is nothing against masturbation in the bible. But i agree that some points of view of many religions are really blinded about what sex means. The purpose of my post is not to say if you have sex you are bad person, but to say that nothing bad happens if you dont have sex.

Agree with you. Mostly on the states, is popular to be close minded and tell you guys. "Oh you are stupid because you say misoginistic stuff". That doesnt change anything. Your feelings and problems are real, and you want a change, misoginistic or not. I would recommend you still to leave this redpilled stuff. Like i was there like you, you feel angry all the time, and you feel women are evil or selfish. Yes, in fact, many women are really superficial and will treat you as garbage, but are not a…

Cool. Yes. Happilly you have good points. Never been on the purple pill. I dont consider myself neither feminist or maculinist, but i was on the masculinist side of this weird gender war until i realized it was making me miserable. Still, is pretty obvious there is a problem and i still have this "radical" "want to make a revolution" feelings. Is uncomfortable. And you dont feel calm. Thats why i wrote this thread

Just saying, for people like you, i became masculinist on the past. Happy not all here on the subreddit are like this and im able to change. Be patient with people with different ideas, even if are dumb for you. This makes the possibility of make them believe on yours wider. I dont know why you are here, since this is a subreddit for people who in some point of their lifes believed on redpill and left those ideas out. I was a missionary on the past. I know about that stuff a little

I dont believe on red pill. Is thrash for me. But i believe on some related stuff, like the masculinity crisis and all those things. Asked in this sub because i need some help from people who overcame something similar (the red pill) and i want to overcome my obsession with masculinist stuff

Without sarcasm, i love your socratic questions. Good debate and thanks for your time My belief is the quality of both genders have gone down as well. We see this with rising obesity, increased screen time, more social isolation, and the mental health crisis. Being unattractive doesn't mean you suddenly find other unattractive people attractive people. So now all these people are aiming out of their league when 50 years ago their preferences would be normal. Maybe, but is still a fact that men a…

I left red pill a big time ago. It sucks!!! I hate to be "playing" or "competing" for love. But.... i still believe on other masculinist theories. Feminism movements are quite agressive towards men. I like some feminist ideas read something from Simone de Beauvoir, on fact some friends think i am feminist (i am not) I want to find good arguments for thinking different that go beyond "is misoginistic" or "is bigotry"

Can you elaborate in what ways men are unable to have a healthy relationship with women? Women have now too high standards, so most men struggle to find a partner. Society rewards individualism. How has feminism damaged men? Is a question of power. On the past, men had the power over society, this is why there was abuse from men to women. Now this power is shifting towards women. Feminist theorists have good principles, but what feminism is on practice is really different from theory, and is a b…

Are not stupid ideas. Are things i have lived by myself, and saw on lifes of friends. The thing is that i dont want neither to be dominated by these things and let them control me. Not talking about the silly redpill/pua/chad-sigma male tik tok ideas. Talking about those sociological studies and more serious stuff that surround these topics. I dont want to discard an idea just because "is mysoginist". I want to believe in something just for the fact is true or false. The universe doesnt cares ab…

Red pill sees the search of a relationship like a game against women. In Red Pill theory, women attractiveness is found on beauty, so when they reach 30, they start to lose their beauty and "lose power". RP Men reject those kind of women because they think are single because they rejected good men until they were left without options. Similar thing with single moms, they think they "lost the game" because they prefered jerks than guys like them, and thats why they are single moms. Obese women is…

Thats why i said evolutionary arguments are partially true. Our primitive nature is still living on our bodies, even if we are more educated and with more inteligence. People who follow their primitive impulses are mostly the most inmature ones

Don't agree. Even if red pill can have good points (dating apps criticism, working on yourself), the majority of the teachings are toxic (all women want an alpha male, women are bad people, all relationships are transactional) and lead to bad self steem and a bad perception of the world
/r/ExRedPill19/09/23 01:21 PM
3

Hang it there bro. Leaving red pill mindset takes time and effort. I know there are a lot of rude and bad girls out there, but put attention, even them like when you are gentle with them. Just they are dont always reciprocate or gentle with you. But there is also a lot of girls who will know how to appreciate your love and your attention.
/r/ExRedPill19/09/23 11:14 AM
2

No. I have to tell you in the past i was red pilled. This is because internet spotlights a lot THOSE kind of women. But i started to know and talk to women on real life, just as friends, and realize they like details, love, and you being a good person with them. Also my therapist told me more of his female patients wanted that from a men.
/r/ExRedPill19/09/23 11:04 AM

Yes there are a lot of women who in fact want the alpha guy. Let me tell you that the women who like "alpha males" are the exception, and you don't have to worry about being yourself. As personal experience, women who support red pilled ideas are: -The ones who don't look for love but only for money or social relevance. -The ones who are inmature enough to go with the bad guy just for adrenaline or for the chalenge. -Women who also have "alpha male" traits (being dominant and looking for power t…

I grew up on a deeply religious family so a lot of my social circle have been by years with conservative/right wing ideas. No problem with the political orientation of the people, but in those mindsets i know some women who in fact desire "seductive" and "alpha" males.
/r/ExRedPill19/09/23 10:43 AM

You are generalizing. All women have different tastes, is imposible to be ugly to EVERY woman. Autistic people, if they want, can have friends and good relationships, even if it can be harder than in the case of a normal person. You dont have to lower your self steem if you know how to manage rejection in a healthy way

Im a mormon. Even with that, i consider myself with political views leaning towards leftism and socialism. Maybe one year ago, i would tell you i believed on the red pill and i was MGTOW, but i realized most of my male and female friends who authentically respect me are feminist or liberal. I am the opposite of the alpha male, still being heterosexual. Have been a process for me

/r/ExRedPill04/09/23 08:06 AM

Thats my point. And thats why i dont call it "feminism". Is not. Is the opposite. But if you enter to the internet, there are a lot of self proclaimed "feminists" who demand an alpha male
/r/ExRedPill04/09/23 07:35 AM
-10

No, you are right. Is not feminism at all, in fact, is quite the opposite. But enter to facebook, twitter or instagram and you will see that a lot of self proclaimed feminists are in fact claiming all those things to men.

Red pill is characterized from using the "cherry picking" fallacy, that means they use veridical stadistics, but use only the ones that support they arguments. An example of this is the hypergamy in tinder. Red pillers say that around 90% of men are rejected in tinder. Sounds scary right? Well. They dont take into account that 70% percent of tinder users are men. So the proportions are unballanced. Also, they base their arguments in social darwinism. And even if nature and evolution affects in o…

Thank you! Honestly my friends like me, and men friends think women are following behind me, but no. Women friends like me also but is weird because they live in their own world, even if i go to balls and events with them, they always put a "wall" between us, and when i try to sociallize with atractive woman (even without romantic intentions), they appear very harsh and sometimes are even rude. I feel a lot of pride within that but idk

In my own experience girls ARE DIFFERENT to men, and not necesarily in a bad sense. For example, videogames industry is a men industry. There are more men atracted to videogames than women. That doesnt mean women can't work at making videogames or be gamers, but is very uncommon. On the other side, see fandoms of korean bands or series. Most of them are made by women, and even if i know men who enjoy k-pop, is uncommon. I would tell you to work on enjoying to be with people that is different tha…

That "league" stuff only works on phisical appeareance. And 90% of people are not on the top of that chart. Most people (include headsome ones) just look for people who have an appeareance they like (example a kind one, or a serious one) even if they are not on the top of the chart

Dude a year ago i was thinking exactly like you. What helped me is to go outside, talk with people, and realize that things dont work like that. Honestly, i think people look different things, some girls look for an intelligent person, others look for a kind one, others for a strong or headsome one. Look at your virtues, what makes you feel comfortable. There will be people that want to be with you for that reason.

This is very damaging to mental health 2: Women are the enemy. Red pill teaches you that women are like animals who are very selfish and opportunists. Honestly being shy, intravert, or even in a spectrum is something that some people like. Is not something necessarily bad

Yes, and this because love is not only the looks. For me, the most important thing in love is to have someone that comprehends you, like your way of being (independent of looks) and enjoys to be with you. Looks are important, yes, but is something more secondary and you can adapt in that topic (all non-headsome people do that) and most important, be happy with that. Oh, and beauty ends with the age. So how old people love each other?

Friend. We live in a capitalist society who demands you to fill certain demands of people (be headsome, be intelligent, be charismatic). You can see that in holywood movies, where you see idealized people. Also society demands you to be able to earn money, or have skills that are good for that. Whats the problem with that? The problem is, that goes against our personal identity. For example, i am someone who loves philosophy. Whats the problem with that? Philosophy is something that is not reall…

Having a girlfriend is just having friends. After you have enough trust with a girl, you can have a relationship. Is not more complicated.

Sex is addictive (like alcohol or drugs). "Fake sex" like porn or masturbation will make you want more sex. In excess, can make you even don't enjoy real sex because "fake sex" is more attractive (is proven that porn actors tend to suffer erectile disfuncion). So i dont recommend you masturbation, but is your own decition. I forgot to say, doesnt help to see porn when you feel lonely, it increases the feeling

Talk with a terapist (psycologist). They will help you. Some things they say and should help you: -Try to question your own toughts (women want an alpha male, i will not be able to be with a women) and refute them -Confront ur thoughts with action. Try to talk with some women, to discover that they are not how red pill describe them. -Once you know red pill arguments are false, try to not focus too much on them, you will forget them and start to feel better -Do stuff you like to do, and focus on…

This tradition was set because men always had the rol of "protector". Showing emotions was a denmostration of vulnerability and weakness. Problem is that in real life, life is not like that
