His ridiculous notion that “women are chaos in need of male order” is misogynist.

I find it particularly hilarious that he admonishes women for wearing makeup, but has hair plugs himself.

I’m so glad he got destroyed when he made the “not beautiful” comment on Twitter.

Well, for starters, he doesn't really stick to his field nowadays, he's become a sort of general right wing pundit so his academic credentials don't mean much since he is often trying to give opinions on stuff he has not studied at all. But yeah he pushes a lot of the same nonsense as red pill. Red pill is nothing new really it's just repackaging a lot of old, mostly conservative ideas.

2) Yes he's most definitely red pill

3) He knows almost nothing about what he's talking about and is extremely intellectually lazy. Most of his expostulations can be traced back to one or two low quality sources e.g. The Gulag Archipelago when talking about the USSR. He only read the Communist Manifesto in preparation for a debate with Slavoj Zizek and didn't even touch Marx/Engles/Trostsky/Mao (For those who don't know the manifesto is essentially a political pamphlet not a thesis and certainly not adequate for *honest* debate prep).

4) There's nothing to think here, and Jordan is a perfect of example of not thinking so let's follow his example and not engage with him because he doesn't deserve it.

Don't forget his arguments about human society having compulsory monogamy... and how this not being the case now as an explanation for femicidal killing sprees. This was actually his response to the bus attacks, (if not, a similar incel killer around this time). we aren't getting married off like we used to. Imagine the fuel given by that statement.

While I think that's not completely wrong, this idea of the lost tradition of monogamy is a bedrock of incel. We are entitled to women and now is a freakish time where the nuclear family tradition is broken, therefore...these guys love talking about having sex with 14 year old girls and imagining they were born in an era where it was OK. Cool fanfic.

I dont disagree with all of his observations but i definitely think he's an enabler and a gateway. You'll notice he's actually silent on a lot of things and that's what I hear most.

Edit: also his interest in fascism in Russia + saying being forced to use pronouns is fascism ... empowers neurotic Americans who think the US will turn into a gulag run by leftists/lgbtqs if ~tradition~ and family values are broken.

His fav book is the gulag archipelago. He basically warns that if we let leftists have their way, its a slippery slope to landing yourself into freedoms taken away and putting you into a prison camp.

Very Appealing to sheltered, fearful people who are vulnerable to romanticizing the past because men were men. He's like a bird. He chews up literature and history for people who weren't exposed to books and spits it in their mouth, and they call him "Daddy". They love it.

Jordan Peterson is definitely not red pilled. He actually hates MGTOW’s and in an interview he told men to “look in the mirror at themselves instead of blaming women”.

There’s nothing wrong with no fap or semen retention, it can help a lot of guys develop self discipline. Just because someone agrees with what something a redpiller says doesn’t mean they’re redpilled. There’s tons of men and women outside of these spaces, that would agree with most of the view points you just stated.

There’s nothing wrong with young men seeking to me more masculine and in my opinion, there is a crisis on masculinity. A lot of children are growing up without fathers in the home and they tend to lack strong supportive masculine figures in their lives. That causes some men to turn to gangs, cults and other suspect movements that offer them a false perception of what masculinity is…(cough cough the pill communities )in order to fill that void in their lives.

No, Jordan Peterson is a Conservative. There's a pretty deep conflict between conservatives and the Red Pill crowd: The Red Pill crowd sees sex, particularly casual sex, as a legitimate end in and of itself. Conservatives see sex as part of married relationship.
