I was comparing the « higher brain functioning» of the professions. Firefighter/police man/military/nurses is a type of job where if the situation arises, you need to not choke and get shit done. Nursing or Firefighting is not abstract math hard or astrophysics hard. But it's still hard. I've seen a lot more situations where the nurse is running around trying to stop a grandma that is trying her hardest to fall face first on the floor while managing a blood tranfusion and a dangerously low BP.
