Okay, I'm sorry for all of this trouble and whatnot that I've caused. I just approached this place as somewhere i could learn how to be a woman and a good partner and it's really confusing to hear so many mixed messages about submission and service from people in this sub and not knowing what to feel. I'll work on finding other spaces that I won't make messes in... I just wanted help being a good girlfriend and good person in general and i understand that i may have abused my space here by posti…

Also if you guys want me gone that is okay and I will STFU and leave, I was preparing to delete my Reddit anyway and it isn't okay for me to make a disturbance here if that's what's happening. I'm sorry for any drama caused by me but I appreciate everyone here who was kind and helpful but I'll probably be leaving now

Whatever I bring, it will never amount to what he brings. You can give yourself any job title and a pat on the back, but remember to know your place.

I don't place any amount of worth or lack thereof on that. That is the man's decision IMO

A guy who truly-truly loves you will recognize the importance of stability and put that first. If my man gave me stuff that wasn't necessary, I would assume he's irresponsible and a simp, not to mention damaging his/our financial stability.

My man constantly compliments my almost entirely thrifted (like $5 dresses) wardrobe. No excuse for spoiling

Aaah we needed a post like this! I know I sure did. I recently caught myself wanting gifts from my man, but why? To feel validated in comparison to other women? What you said about engagement rings and weddings is so true. Some men are scared to propose because their girls pressure them into an expensive ring. My man knows I don't even want/need a ring, but he's still nervous about meeting that immense societal pressure to waste money on a woman just because she's female and somehow entitled to …

For me, it's not all about stuff, though. It's rough seeing some girls having their men totally obsessed with them instead of seeing them as an accessory to their life. Now, it's probably healthier to be with a man who has an important and meaningful enough of a life that you aren't a main priority, because men who obsess over their women probably don't have much else going for them, but I can't help but wonder what those girls must feel like to be worshipped like that. In reality, though, it's …

No, like the "he just ordered me food without me asking hehe! he just gave me money to go spend on whatever! he gave me an unmerited gift unrelated to a holiday or accomplishment! hehehe!" edit: it's not just material stuff but also "posting" her to show her off online, or showing her off to people in person like she's on a pedestal, or showering her in love, even though she doesn't actually put much (or any) effort into femininity and submission

I read it and didn't realize anything was wrong until the second time I read it. I was screamed at every day for 18 years, and it was so shocking to realize that some people don't grow up that way!

Because everything in life must be earned. Men like spoiling women who meet their standards of submission and femininity as a reward for their feminine labor. The idea that you can't expect anything to be handed to you without work applies to relationships, too. I worry that "inspiring yourself" creates an artificial perception of self value, which relies on how badly you want something rather than what you have done to earn it. Allowing your man to be the source of the things you are given, ens…

I'm sorry but your "I'm not RPW" shows in your statement and makes it difficult to agree with you. RP asks, WHY do you think you deserve it? Do you really deserve it at all, or did society just tell you that being a woman gets you special love points for free? Sometimes women don't get things because we don't deserve them, plain and simple. That doesn't mean we can't improve ourselves and earn them, though! Communities like these help women brainstorm how to better inspire men.

Dragging myself from a four to a seven has been mentally and physically draining. Maintaining vibrance and enthusiasm with a chronic pain condition, researching style and color, finding money for clothes and looksmaxxing, and just the emotional labor of submission..... I'll look into what you said about ruling out the unnecessary, but it already feels like I'm at the bare minimum. I also was abandoned by my mother and have no feminine influence. Starting from scratch automatically puts me light-…

I know deep down that it can and never should stop, but sometimes I just want a break.... Sometimes I break down from how exhausting and painful it can be to maintain and perform femininity like I'm supposed to. I guess the work needs to be on sucking it up and strengthening in the process?

What do you mean by "fake submit"ting? Isn't it always real submission, since submission is an action or a collection of a certain type of actions? Eg. domestic work, sex, deference, et cetera. Doing all these things are real submission, right?

Yeah! We've been together almost two years, and he says he can see himself marrying me once things are more put-together in his life. Deep down, I want to do every single thing I possibly can for him.... But it isn't always sensible. I do a lot now but it might inspire him more if I up my ante even further!
/r/RedPillWomen28/10/21 01:46 AM

Wow, this is something I probably needed to hear. I've always been scared of giving too much and submitting too hard and having that reduce his likelihood to marry me. You're probably right that giving him as much unrestrained love as possible is more likely to secure him. I'll test out totally unrestrained love and "benefits" and see if it has any positive impacts on our relationship... I sure hope it does!!

That's still quite an extreme thing to assume though, don't you think? I honestly just think it's rude to rewrite someone's words to say "what they actually meant", because I said exactly what I meant in the first place. I'm sort of confused in general about why this Red Pill space is so hypercritical of men who don't meet female standards...

We are not married. I did not ask for people to tear apart my amazing boyfriend, but for advice on staying feminine in spite of chronic illness and pain.

Wow, thank you so much for this inspiring and detailed response. You're so right that femininity should be catered to your man specifically and not to HVMen as a group in general. It's hard to remember that, sometimes. For him, being and feeling respected seems to rely most strongly on having his needs and desires met, and being unobstructed from them. That's where my illness gets in the way of respecting him. I think you're right that attitude is key, and that being funny, happy, and cute regar…

Why don't you want to hear another opinion? When might this happen? How do you truly know that you're right, and how do you define right? Being correct about an objective fact is very different from having a "right opinion". Is he, by chance, any older or better-educated than you? If so, it might be a good sign to STFU (not using that to insult you it's actually the name of an RP method of respectful communication)

I have flare-ups quite often, though, so it would be selfish and irrational to expect him to bow down to me each time. It's totally reasonable for him to reach a breaking point every now and then and need to retract himself from the situation to not be exposed to it. He isn't invincible, and he has the right to put his wellbeing first, too. I'm happy that you and your husband seem to have something that works well for you! This is what works for us. Please don't feel bad for me.

Some things that I do to submit: smiling and saying "yes honey" whenever I feel the urge to disagree or argue with hi reminding him how much I trust and respect him, whenever the chance shows up physical acts of servitude, like performing all of the domestic duties for him never rejecting his sexual advances, no matter what (this is a big one!) allowing myself to be small and vulnerable around him, especially emotionally asking for his advice and opinion before making decisions, big or small ask…

You don't need to be. For context, he took me on an extremely beautiful and quite expensive vacation. He made all these plans to see sites that held personal significance to him, but due to my poor pain management skills, I had to lay in bed for a day and a half. He didn't want to go alone, so he had to sit around and do nothing in the hotel with me, wasting his own time and money. I used it as an example to hopefully find solutions for when my pain prevents me from feminine behavior.

I don't know, unfortunately. I'm still in the process of seeing different specialists and ruling things out (and by things I mean basically every disease including rare ones that I had to do special testing for). Thank you for this. I really like what you said about playing up the dainty woman stereotype while still doing as much work as possible to stay strong, rather than giving into it entirely. Mindset is so important, too! I try to avoid seeing myself as "a chronically ill person", or applying any similar labels, but it can be difficult sometimes when so much of my life is occupied with strict diets, doctor's appointments, and everyday symptoms that are basically a part of who I am at this point. I understand what you're saying, but idk what more I can do to help you understand my perspective. A man who is not having his basic, fundamental, biological need met by his woman has zero obligation to stay with her, no matter what, end of story. I don't understand the need for so much discourse around this fact. It has nothing to do with loyalty and everything to do with the man's right to have his basic biological needs met.
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/21 06:20 PM
2

No. I get what you're trying to do, but isn't that a false equivalence? I would simply find some income or go back to (or stay at) work, because I love and support him. There's a way out of having no money. If a man gets stuck with a barren wife, the only way out of the situation is to leave her and find someone capable of mothering his children.

All those signs of ovulating are still there, just at different times in my cycle than prior to the jab. I can usually pinpoint a time in my cycle when I have cervical mucus, increased energy and good mood, a "squishier" vaginal canal, and overall libido. Is that a sign that my ovulation is still occuring in a healthy way? Could I experience those things and not actually be ovulating the right way?
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/21 05:29 PM
2

Thanks... It would be absolutely devastating if I do have fertility problems, and even worse to have to split with the man I'm building my life around, but it's selfish to the point of evil to force a man to stay with you when you're incapable of meeting his basic needs, regardless of "why" or whose fault it is. I'm just hoping and praying I'm not barren now due to the vaccine. I'll work on all the testing mentioned above, plus a fertility diet!

I think it's less emotion and more rational concern about meeting his needs... And being denied a child is definitely not a "frivolous" reason to get a new wife, but rather totally sensible for the man. I guess it just depends on if you really value him more or not

I thought TRP in general was more critical of catering to women's feelings? Plus, if I were a guy, I really doubt I would stay with a woman who couldn't give me a family, so it makes sense where he's coming from. It doesn't really matter whose fault it is if it just plain doesn't work anymore.

Men have no obligation to stay with women who can't fulfill their role in the relationship-- for any reason. I am chronically ill and also have to accept how that could affect my ability to live up to his needs. IMO this is baseline relationship etiquette, but people can feel differently about their own relationships, and that's okay. It's more than just a hardship, though. It's a major incompatability. He has wanted biological children his whole life. He does not believe in adoption. This is a gamble we are willing to take, but it would be unbelievably selfish of me to coerce him into staying if I ever do have fertility problems.
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/21 01:46 AM
4

Why is it concerning? If we have a right to vet for common life goals, so do men. He shouldn't be trapped in a relationship with someone who cannot give him a baby, especially when it's a major life goal of his to produce one.

Why should a man be obligated to stay with a woman who can't give him a child, especially when he has always wanted one?
/r/RedPillWomen14/10/21 01:32 AM

Exactly! This was a very difficult and painful conversation for us yesterday, but I just couldn't expect him to stay if I can't give him a baby... Becoming a biological father is an indispensable life goal of his. I personally want to be with him forever no matter what, but he has a right to a fertile wife and a biological child...

I totally agree with you, and that's why I'm concerned. It sounds like a nice idea to talk about my issues with someone with master's level expertise in human dysfunction, and it's too bad that most of them are just pill shills or feminists. Somewhat unrelated fun fact: at the medical doctor, immediately insisting that you will not take pills is a good way to get them to ACTUALLY take care of your problem and find you a lifestyle-based treatment plan!

Is desiring to make him happy and fulfill his needs not "the right type of desire", then? He is quite handsome and beautiful, but I have never viewed anyone as sexy. Thank you for this comment! Luckily I almost never have this problem with my boyfriend-- it's just with males I encounter out in the world, especially if they're older than me. It's so easy to defer to him and let him have his way. I am always up for sex and willing to do anything he wants. I'm free use. How is that hurting his self esteem, having me any time he ever wants?
/r/RedPillWomen27/09/21 07:14 PM

Probably, yeah... I would just have to work on not being jealous. He deserves to have his sexual needs fulfilled. Even though I never deny him and always put out, it becomes exhausting and painful, so it would probably be okay if he could spread out his sexual endeavors... and yes, if he is the head of the household, he has a right to his desires being met. Part of me feels uncomfortable and sad to imagine him with another woman, though, but it's ultimately about HIS needs

What you quoted was almost exactly what I said to my friend in that situation, is that bad?

I immediately defer to other women and let them be right. I can't recall a time an argument arose between another woman and I, because it never seems worth it to defend myself. It shouldn't be so hard to extend the same attitude to men!!!

I feel like 1 and 3 are negotiable. A woman can put herself on the back burner and do even better at nurturing others for this reason. You don't have to believe in the whole self love narcissism thing to love others. Saying "but how will you nurture your future children?" seems kind of judgemental. You can excel in nurturing others even when you don't believe in nurturing yourself. It's two different things, two different people. You can care about someone else's health without regularly visitin…

He actually gets "free use" out of me, so it is a sexual relationship. I personally just have zero interest in reading about anything sexual and would rather involve myself in communities that only talk about stuff like "my husband's favorite packed lunch recipes!" and "how to defer in a disagreement" and that kinda thing. It's not submission play, but the whole submissive lifestyle. It's way more headship and way less d/s.

I'm just heavily interested in the lifestyle of being totally submissive to a man, deferring to him, never challenging him, putting him on a pedestal, and serving him. I want to find other women who share this interest.

Of course!!! Cooking and sex is the absolute bare minimum! I promised my man that I will be as industrious as possible while staying home. Honestly, I'll probably end up doing way more work than him-- for free. I expect my days to be full of manual labor, constant childcare, cooking three meals a day, daily cleaning, gardening, and animal husbandry

No anxiety or extreme emotions, but a healthy amount of self hate and self blame is needed until I can be absolutely certain that I won't continue to act up as I did from 4 to 17

I haven't done anything bad since high school. I didn't decide to become better until I moved myself out. Saying a 16-and-up-year-old's behavior is CAUSED by an adults "abuse" is seriously pushing it, but that's my last two cents in this thread. Clearly we have different opinions, and I appreciate you explaining yours to me, but we can just go on with our own ways of handling a situation in whichever way works for ourselves
/r/RedPillWomen14/09/21 02:02 AM

For your last question, that would be an absolute disaster. He was so spoiled and treated like a perfect little angel constantly. I know what you're getting at, though. You want me to blame my parents and start seeing myself as a poor little "abused" child instead of an independent human with the ability to make right and wrong behavioral decisions. Why?
/r/RedPillWomen13/09/21 07:33 AM

I get where you're coming from, but this type of thinking can be abused by people who want to convince themselves that their childhood selves have zero blame, because it validates their victim mindsets, and makes them feel more secure in themselves. However there definitely are plenty of kids like you described who are a product of their environment, warped by actual parental mistreatment. This was not the case for me, even though it is common in others. No matter what, I will own up to MY actio…

I think it's really situational. Some children corrupt their parent's lives into a living hell, despite knowing what they're doing is bad.

I'm sorry but that is pretty presumptuous and incorrect... I almost never criticize him for anything, even if I feel like I want to. I actively avoid even thinking thoughts that criticize him. I praise him unconditionally.
/r/RedPillWomen12/09/21 04:47 PM
-1

This is a really thoughtful and helpful responsive, but I am 100% criticizing myself and my childhood actions ecause it needs to be done. I have only myself to blame as the catalyst for things that happened to me. He actively tries to stop me from blaming myself, and to "let myself deserve things" when I definitely don't yet, and that's why I'm upset about it...

I can't wait to do those things! He's out of the country for the next 9 months. While we're apart, I've been making sure to be available EVERY time he wants to call, sending love letters with little gifts, sending daily heartfelt messages, conversing with him about things he cares about whenever he wants, and doing "camera stuff" for him. While together, I clean his room, prepare breakfast, and all that kind of stuff, including NEVER rejecting his needs for intimacy!

My life didn't suck, I just had a bad reaction to it. Once I realized it was my choice to be happy or not, things improved. It would be interesting to see stats on how much "chemical" depression is from poor lifestyle choices and thought patterns existing within an otherwise "healthy" environment.

I brought myself from suicidal to thriving without the use of medication. The five plus antidepressants I tried only distracted me from the emotions caused by my environment and lifestyle, which I chose to change after becoming sober of pharmaceuticals. Thank you for this reply. I hear stuff like that all the time, but I have NEVER understood why it's bad to turn down gifts. There are perfectly free ways to show your love that are far more meaningful. A gift is just an item. An expensive gift is just a liability. People always get mad at me when I say I don't want gifts because I don't want to burden the person giving them. Why is it so bad that I want to spare people the trouble? I wasn't brought up that way at all. It's just planning for long-term. I'm scared of them because so many people here in the US go into debt for weddings and for other forms of keeping up with the Joneses. A wedding can cost as much as a down payment for a cozy home. A small wedding could cost as much as the ER visit you might need unexpectedly the month after. I don't believe in wasting large fortunes of money on things and events that exist almost purely as forms of social signaling

You're very right, but getting someone to stop hurting your loved one is very different than my bad habit of being rebellious and snippy when men criticize me, which is what I was referring to. I think he deserves to know what he's getting into. My man knows almost everything, and we've been together for one and a half years. He deserves transparency about who I really am and where I come from. This way, he can get out before he becomes too entrenched in me, if needed. He chooses to stay, despite my previous life situations and family problems, but most wouldn't (who would?). I feel better knowing that I don't have to lie to him. Yeah, the stay at home WASP who watches soap operas all day is new, but women largely stuck to domestic labor or handiwork throughout history. The first women in primitive societies stayed in or close to the home. I also would appreciate if you refrained from insulting me, or any other woman in this community💗

I love your last paragraph, especially the first sentence! Funny how so many "anti-capitalist" young women are vicious feminists. If only they knew that the very late capitalism they claim to despise is running on the adamant singleness of girls just like them.
/r/RedPillWomen18/08/21 01:24 AM

Also, why do you feel like "less than human" for taking care of a man? Who wants you to think that way? Who exactly benefits from your labor, instead, when you convince yourself that a loving husband doesn't deserve it? There are other forces (corporations) competing with provider men for female labor. They will convince you not to find happiness in homemaking, because they want to use your labor to fuel the constant death spiral of industrialized society. Who really deserves you more?

For real! Maybe it's just a branding trend that will go away soon. I get these weird off brand organic tampons from the crunchy store.
