ah yes because that makes all the abuse okay. cause it's happening to them and not us. like, hmmm.... mayyybe we could work on having less men willing to rape in the first place rather than treating the symptoms of it.

i just wanted to add it only covers the strains that are the likeliest of giving you cancer. i did receive the vaccine and still contracted strains that caused cell developments which might still turn into cancer. so yes it IS important to get regular paps and keep an eye on it if you've got abnormal cells.

tell him why and block immediately. they'll only try to argue anyway, that's not worth your time nor energy. and if they actually want to change something (0.1%chance lol), they'll know what's up.

Frankfurt, Germany. investment bankers leasing very expensive bmws through their work places, thinking they're hot shit because they can afford pretty suits. often have everything down to their apartment paid for by work and ain't got shit. cocaine is prevalent. adidas track suit and fanny pack wearing stoners who'll call you "chaya". they usually come in groups of 5+ boys and i usually cross the street as soon as i see em. artsy literature students who'll mansplain the world to you, usually pol…

i think it's always been bad. for example, my grandpa (whom i loved dearly, he was my childhood hero) took pride in always having up to five women at the same time. he only married my grandma because she just so happened to be the one getting pregnant and they were forced to have a wedding. i'm 100% sure he's not an exception to a rule or anything.

i'm currently at home and just smoked with my roommate. we had a pretty good talk, which doesn't happen that often these days. also, i just signed a job contract last week, starting on the first of march - so excited! my love life is a little boring. after i cut off one man last week for overstepping clear boundaries, i'm still vetting two other ones. they're promising, but it's only been a bit over a months, so i can't tell yet. not mad at that though. lockdown is pretty hard on me. the restric…

same. i was seeing this guy and i was about to give in and make it official (he's been saying he wants to for a month). i also have told him about the fact i have been assaulted and raped in the past and that i'm struggling with ptsd. yesterday we were watching a movie and i don't even remember the actual topic of our conversation but he kept joking about getting a blowjob as a reward for something. i said no, laughed and jokingly called him a pervert. he kept insisting while i kept saying no an…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy10/02/21 08:13 PM

yes, exactly. i have never met a woman who genuinely said she didn't like sweet gestures, cute compliments or even just a man showing her appreciation. it's always men who act like women don't like cute guys.

i was talking to this one man. on the surface, he was great. kind, looking for a stable relationship, about to buy a house, funny, loyal, caring. BUT he threw a fit whenever i called him cute or sweet, telling me that's boring and not what women want. when i was literally there adoring just that. needless to say, i dropped him like a hot potato. i don't need that kind of pseudo-masculine toxic bullshit.

this was actually the reason i broke up with my ex. he was severely lacking in empathy and self absorbed af. it's been well over a year now and he's much better with this. i'm SO glad i left though, zero regrets there. so yes, they can change, but we should never play therapists. it's way too much time, work and energy for that little of a reward.

my two best friends and i are having brunch on saturday (i'll have work on sunday). i'm planning on making a vegan cake and the otger girls are doing the main dish and snacks. we're probably having alcohol free secco and will be watching all three parts of "to all the boys". really excited for it 🥰 one friend and i are in fact dating someone, but we decided it would be more fun to be together that weekend.

part of these male symptoms are considered to be borderline personality disorder symptoms, which is more prevalent in women. i wonder how often it's maybe "just" depression, but is misdiagnosed. but even then, it's interesting. women tend to experience auto-aggression. like self harm, sex with strangers etc. men tend to lash out. i honestly wonder why that's the case.

i wouldn't necessarily advise to just believe it. look him up. however, i personally also don't really use social media. i do have an instagram account, but it's completely empty and i only use it to share memes and reels with a friend or two. so it's rare, but happening.

the schedule thing is so true. i normally start work around 5-6pm and get off between midnight and 4am. my ex yelled at me for sleeping "late" the next day if it was an off day for him because we couldn't "use the day now". just bye.

my dad is very similar. it's not so much the virgin thing, but he's super misogynistic in his own way. the only piece of advice i can give you is to keep your head down around him. don't take any shit, but also don't pick unnecessary fights - and trust me i know very well how tempting it is to throw and yell facts at the faces of people like this. however, you will have to stick around for a bit longer. so until you can get out, try to make the remaining time as easy for yourself as possible. he…

yes and no. one friend of mine actually did change my flat tire on super short notice and noticed a tiny change in my hair today. some men (or, well, people in general) do actually care and put in effort. however, you should never expect it, you'll only be disappointed by the majority who just... doesn't. always believe people when they tell you who they are. do things for yourself, level up for yourself. never to appeal to anyone else.

my favorite pub has something similar. if you're at the bar asking for "luisa", they'll lead you out the back and make sure you get to leave safely. it's disgusting that something like this even has to exist.

i will never understand this. why would you invite someone over just to play games and basically ignore them? doesn't matter if it's in relationships or friendships - it's just so damn rude! the only way it would be acceptable is if they lived together and each had their 1-2 hours of time for themselves to play, read, knit or whatever. i bet y'all there's a pickme in the top ten comments saying "I'd JuSt PlAy WiTh HiM". and i hate the fact that it could've been me, five years ago.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy14/01/21 06:30 AM

i mean, you're entitled to your opinion. however, i did indeed meet people on there years ago who are still close friends. some are about to get married, even. it's not that black and white.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/21 01:30 PM
21

meeting people is urgent to me, yes. it's not necessarily with the intention of dating, but lockdown is pretty hard on me and i've found some great folks to talk to this way. especially after moving away from my old friends, to a completely new area
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/21 01:22 PM
22

i'm on OLD because we're in a full lockdown and will be for another few months, as it seems. no shops are open, i haven't been able to work since october and there's also a curfew. there's literally no other way to meet anyone right now. even if there was, i wouldn't be comfortable getting close to anyone outside my bubble under these circumstances. so i talk to people online. vetting can still be done. especially when you need to keep it strictly texts and phone calls for quite a while.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/01/21 12:31 PM

actually yes, i do think you should have all of these things figured out before deciding to get married. i can only imagine the horror of being about to marry a person only to discover they want completely different arrangements of day to day living. if other people like surprise proposals, they should do them, by all means. i personally would just be incredibly overwhelmed and feel coerced into saying yes. that's obviously different for everyone. this and my previous comments are only my person…

beware of them insisting too, though. wayyy back when i was 16 i went on a date with this guy. he insisted on paying, but i didn't feel comfortable with that, so i declined. he literally started yelling at me in front of tge staff until i let him pay. he then later on that day expected sexual stuff, because, oh wonder, he spent money on me after all. promise rings aren't a thing here, thank god. i'd probably laugh and ask if he's serious. i like rings a lot, wear them constantly and would like one as a gift, just because. just like other jewelry. however, never with the intention of it being a "promise". that's just dumb. in fact, i think engagements are equally dumb. legally, it changes nothing. i would hate to have such a big question just sprung on me as a surprise, marriage should be discussed. and honestly, some people are engaged for y…

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/01/21 10:07 PM

i fully agree. it's the thought behind the actions. memorizing your favorite flowers and colors for the bouquet would be a better indicator, just to use this example. same for paying attention to your dietary habits and preferences. money is nice, but doesn't mean shit if the man behind it ain't shit.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/01/21 09:53 PM

for me, it has nothing to do with their career, but everything to do with them. the things i keep an eye out for are ambition (it's okay to be happy with the current position, but it's important to strive to be better) passion (who'd want to be with someone who's constantly miserable?) potentially shared interests (a field i'm interested in as well is obviously a good sign) financial stability and responsibility (doesn't mean rich, but able to support themselves and save up) time management (bei…

i think it's a bit of both, honestly. of course coping with alcohol seems less "lonely" if you do it in a bar with people you know. so of course this kind of people will be there. not even just regulars, but also one off people who had some frustrating news. i think we've almost all been there. and the atmosphere in bars is indeed very different than anywhere else. it's almost like it becomes its own little society. men and women will inevitably get flirty, especially with alcohol involved. weth…

it's basically just asexual, but a bit more nuanced :) it's a spectrum after all. i usually just say i'm ace, because most people aren't aware there are differences between ace people. but tgen again, it's not really relevant to know for most.

i just want to chime in to say i can see myself in this, as an aegosexual. i like the thought of sex, but despise it actually happening. so masturbating is cool, but i could very well never sleep with anyone ever again and not miss anything. asexuality isn't really on people's minds most of the time, so i wanted to use the opportunity to spread some awareness on it. however, this obviously doesn't make porn addiction okay. or not telling your partner about being ace, should that be the case.

i'd say it depends on age a bit. in your early 20s or even late teens, most prospects will be in school, still. i agree on the potentially profitable major. however, i don't think you can expect a lot financially from someone who's in school, especially not right now. if you're like 25+, i 100% agree.

well one of them i didn't test, because he's been with his wife for as long as we know each other (8 years) and i'm godmother to his kid. he's a safe bet. the second one was super concerned and tried to explain that while he valued my friendship a lot, he liked me strictly as a friend and said we might had to end that friendship, because it's not working like this. i showed him the tiktok and screenshots of other replies so he knew what's up. we're good now, but i was scared to lose him for a bi…

i mean, it's a start. she seems new to fds so is probably freshly in recovery. she'll learn. but yes. pretty much everything is a red flag. letting him stay over, him living with his mom, him apparently not being able to cut his nails, bringing three things to stay over at someone's place... hot mess.

i mean... even the fact you've been dating him for months and only seen him four times. sis, that's a huge red flag

i actually tested this a while ago. saw a tiktok of a guy sending "let's fuck" to his friends to see the reaction. it was all guys and pretty funny. so i got on snapchat and did the same thing, with a pretty pic and different but similar text. almost every damn one of them was like "yeah let's do it" or "on my way". so basically, i found out i had exactly three male friends, and a bunch of scrotes i've dropped since.

not me, but my best friend. she's about 6 feet tall, so basically our country's average for men. she's been having trouble finding men she liked that were taller than her. in fact, ever since she's been dating, she has had only one date with a guy who was handsome and taller than her. not to mention short scrotes trying to neg her for it. it's disgusting. she's like the best human you'll ever meet, yet they've got this kind of audacity.

quick question - so i put up in my bio that i like baking, which i genuinely love as a hobby. i keep being told something along the lines of "that's great, i love cooking. i'll whip up dinner and you can do our dessert". is this a red flag? i'm not quite sure. obviously, i'm not going to do at home dinner with strangers, don't worry. i'm just curious if it's problematic in general for when you know each other better.

i'll have to say that the best one i ever had was a guy in his 50s-ish. seriously no complaints, only great things to say. that being said, the most important thing is that you're comfortable with your doctor, no matter which kind.

personally, i was scared of what he was going to do to me if i left. he was openly sadistic and in various bdsm groups. one time, for example, he locked me in the attic for hours when i was in intense pain. in the meantime, he went to have lunch with his family. i screamed in pain and no one heard me. so this happened while i was still compliant with what, he demanded. you can imagine what he could've done if i refused... also, i was barely 17 back then.

trash, simple as that. there's no way someone can be ready for serious dating right after breaking off a serious relationship. the point of taking a break from dating is so you can learn from your mistakes and grow as a person. recognize what you did wrong, learn from it, find strategies so it won't happen again. reflecting on everything that went wrong. healing from being hurt. mourning what's basically the loss of a loved one. and seriously, everyone has made mistakes in a relationship. there'…

you know, it's still tinder. there's no reason for hot dudes to put in any effort because if you won't put out, the next pickme sure will. that's part of why finding a hvm online is super unlikely. i know exactly one hvm in my circle who found his wife online. the rest met theirs in other ways - through shared interests, mutual friends etc. i know dating during this pandemic is super difficult, but don't let online dating fool you. there are hvm out there, they're just not on tinder (usually).

sounds fantastic, congratulations! however, just for the future, be careful about letting someone walk or drive you home. them knowing where you live can absolutely lead to stalking etc. it's not worth the risk, imo. get to know them better first.

tbh, i was bothered by this being on the front page and everyone celebrating him like a hero. couldn't put my finger on it at first, but just realized that it's because this should be just basic decency. normal. the damn basic standard! don't get me wrong, i think this man is great (at least from what i've heard of him), but it's super sad that not being a creep is worth being celebrated. kudos to him for quitting though, especially back then, different times and such.

honestly, i don't get why people feel the need to say this. especially to their partners. like what's the good vs the bad it could possibly do? best case, you shared your opinion, no one is hurt, but you gain zero. worst case, you hurt the one you love and feed their insecurities. it's not worth shit!

absolutely this. also you're in no way, shape or form anything less than because you caught a disease. it's not dirty and it's not your fault. anyone who treats you even a tiiiny bit worse because of this isn't worth your time.

i can't expect them to read my mind and know that anything dinner like is off the table for me though. obviously i reject coffee shit and walks completely. but if someone suggests dinner, i say no but museums or something cultural instead.

ohhh right i totally forgot its not that common over in the us, sorry! that's part of why actual text messaging is still so popular over there, right?

so it's basically like with nice guys? "if you have to tell people you're nice, you sure as fuck aren't actually that nice"?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy29/09/20 01:29 PM

wait, can you explain why the last one is an immediate nope? i've previously seen it as them saying they will respect my boundaries and so far, the ones that have said this also have acted like it.

loool, what the hell. i've been suggesting museums lately because they're genuinely a lot of fun, super interesting and if the guy is horrible at least i'm learning new things. but guess what, no museum dates so far

especially since so many places have their own wifi nowadays! universities, cafes, train stations... even movie theaters! like seriously, no one needs that much data if they've got wifi at home. i currently have a plan with 16gb for 25€ish and tbh, ever since I've gotten wifi, I've never even come close to using all of it. maybe like 6gb max and that's only when I'm super bored at work and watch netflix or so.

tbh, trains are kinda expensive in some places. even with monthly or annual tickets, depending on where you're from. for example, going to the next big city costs me over 10€, one way. it's ridiculous, i swear...

absolutely. i paid like 20€ for electricity in my past apartment. you just know he's got super excessive use especially for a single household. plus cheap mobile contracts or even prepaid stuff exists for like 10€, but of course he picked the most expensive company to make a point

i think it's meant more like you need a double income to live nicely in cities. but tbh this post kinda infuriates me. it's my country and i've been making just that amount of money (as a student) and been able to live super comfortably. it's 100% possible to live not like a god damn cockroach on minimum wage here. been doing it for a while. ugh.

who said it's meaningless? it's just that cooking a tasty albeit very simple meal for your partner isn't really a super high bar. it's sweet, but that's it.

three times. i can only cum eith a vibe and i let them know (it's suuuper easy if i use one). either they implement that or they don't. if it's the latter, they're gone. easy as that.

i think it's sweet, but honestly... it's still to much praise for a nice gesture. it's what you're supposed to do in a relationship. not necessarily the cooking, but noticing if you're partner is overwhelmed and then doing something they love for them. i used to always bring my ex the snacks he loved whenever i stepped into a grocery shop and hide them in his car so he'd find them, give back rubs on no end, made him cake and special chocolates looking like characters from his favorite fandoms...…

no, absolutely not. he's manipulating you. he's tried to get angry and when that didn't work, he tried to make you feel bad for him. also, this is only after two months of dating. i don't want to imagine what he'd be pulling off in a year.

not necessarily. i hate social media, so my page is empty and i use it exclusively to message old schoolmates, follow my friends' work and such. so a public profile usually is an orange flag for me, personally. however, i've been talking to some men and one has his profile public, because he mainly uses it for his music. another because he shows off his projects and such. i think these cases are fine. if i had hobbies with outcomes you can show off, i would too, i suppose. however, a public prof…

i personally don't really like hair on men, except for on their heads and faces. however, i sure as fuck would never try to tell someone else what to do with their bodies - so i expect the same thing in return. so for me, i don't necessarily think it has to have pedophilic reasons, though it absolutely can - no doubt. but the biggest red flag about the whole thing is how they legit expect you to go out of your way to look like their ideal little doll. hard pass.

that's great to hear, congratulations! it was like this for me when i got off hormonal birth control. when i was on it, i had a migraine attack at least once a month - to the point of not being able to speak or move my hands properly, constantly vomiting etc. well, now I've been completely migraine free for well over a year and it's sooo fucking liberating!! so i 100% get how you feel. however i personally did opt for a copper iud (which luckily has had zero side effects on my body), because i'm…

honestly, i doubt there's anything you could've done differently. plus, if a man treats one woman like crap and acts like he's a king for another one... it's just that. an act. he's not even a genuinely nice person, so how could he ever be high value?

"have sex with a plastic object" is truly a funny way to word this. it's basically admitting, that sex to them is merely penetration. like everything that makes sexual connections different for us from simply getting ourselves off is completely dismissed. emotions, touching, a sincere connection, trying to take care of each other's needs, making someone else feel good etc. and even if it came down only to piv penetration. the plastic dick still does it WAY better. so truly, what even is the damn…

personally i suspect it's because my very first relationship was with a sadist. i still genuinely like bdsm things nowadays (nothing of the stuff he did to me though) and also implement them in masturbation and such. idk if this will ever go away, but i'm trying to basically ignore it. but i also have to say that almost none of my following partners has shown an interest in it, except maybe light hair pulling or so. so that gave me quite a bit of hope in men as a whole.

hell yes! I'd love to get married while traveling and just have a huge garden party with everyone when we're back. totally get the money reasoning. however, that's just me and it's so mean to belittle people for wanting a traditional, classy wedding! like, just let them have this one perfect day they've dreamed of! life is way too short to not make your dreams come true.

nah, you're totally justified. the entitlement to our time is so ridiculous. i can't even count the times i've been asked to take a day off for a date (i work evenings and weekends), but literally never has one of them offered to take an unpaid day off for me. boy bye.

honestly, it's so funny how touchy they are when it comes to their penises. like, in my part time job as a waitress i get reduced on my boobs every single day and i use it for my advantage (tips, ya know). or, well, get told i'm probably "easy" because of my size etc. you don't see me complaining, cause i can't change it so i might as well make the best of it. but don't a woman ever dare to say anything at all about dick preference - it's an instant shit show.

YES!!! i had a two year relationship with a guy who had one partner before me. i thought okay, we're serious, i don't need a test. well, i caught hpv from him and had abnormal cells at 20. been on frequent monitoring and testing for two years now to make sure it won't develop into cancer or anything bad. not how i planned to spend my early 20s. GET TESTED SISTERS. if he refuses, dump him without hesitation. no man is ever worth risking your health.

i really love long hair and a beard - well kept of course! there's just something about it 🥰 kind eyes and a beautiful smile are important too! not even a perfect one, i actually like a little gap or a crooked nose. it makes faces so much more interesting! and oh my god, freckles and dimples! body wise i like tall men. my ex was 2 metres tall and broad built and it felt absolutely perfect. considering he's a former football player, i never felt safer than in his arms and there's no fucking way I…

i agree to a certain level. i think it's okay (in the sense of "ugh but fine") if someone says "males and females". however it seems like 99% of the time it's more like "men and females", which is a hard pass. mainly became it puts us on a completely different level - almost as if we're dogs or whatever. so same. red flag for me.

so, this is super tricky for me, because i have huge anxiety about eating in public and am overcoming an eating disorder rn. however, i still want to go on high value dates. but anything with food just isn't on the table (lol) until i am super comfortable around a person. do you ladies have any other suggestions?

i was out with some friends on friday. in retrospective i know its stupid, but one girl friend and i decided to go to a swing set and talk in the middle of the night. it was soooo nice to just swing back and forth and talk through the night with her. in the middle of my well lit neighborhood, that is. ....until three assholes walk up to us. catcalling, harassment and whatnot followed. we got away as quickly as we could, but it was potentially super dangerous. that night, i just hated humanity as…
