Also what's up with hike date suggestions? I love hiking but doesn't mean I want to as a first ((cheap ass)) date. My safety is my number one priority. I'm not about to go hike somewhere remote with someone I barely know and get all sweaty. These guys never consider our level of comfort and safety.

I love this SM!! And LVM men for some reason HATE IT and get so triggered when a woman doesnt put any effort to please them. Back in the tme before I really became a radfem, I had this guy friend who was always flirting with me, trying to push things into a sexual place (would like scare away other guys who tried to talk with me), and kept pressuring me that we should hang out. Eventually I kind of felt I had to, but the funny thing is, when I went over to his place, to make it clear nothing would happen, I did no makeup, the worst/frumpiest/nonsexual outfit I could think of (like oversized ratty sweaptants outfit), hair in a mess, etc. And he was SO MAD. He actually made an excuse for me to leave so I only had to stay like 10 minutes, which was a win. And then afterwards he wouldn't speak to me. All because I refused to get dolled up for him and took him at his "come over and watch a movie!" word. And I know some men are probably gonna say it was because I looked awful without makeup or something- nah. I have really clear skin and the most makeup I ever wore at the time was mascara and occasional eyeliner. But it was about the overall fact that I was clearly not performing for him sexually that ENRAGED HIM and he also proceeded to talk shit about me to others after. The audacity of LVM never fails to amaze (he was also totally unattractive and way below my league)...

I had a guy ask me to drive an hour to meet him half way between our locations, at a state park, for a first date. When I laughed and said that sounds serial killer-ish, he feigned offense. "Oh my God, why would you think so poorly of me?!!?"

I doubled down: "You weren't aware Ted Bundy tried to drag women he just met for the first time into a secluded forest? Besides, hiking in heels is not an ideal date for most women."

He countered: "then just drive to my house and spend the weekend."

"I won't spend the night with men I just met, we either meet in public at a pub & grill or something, so I can feel safe, or we don't meet at all". He then threatened to call the cops on me.

I was simultaneously bewildered and bemused. I had so many questions.... Like: "what will you tell them is my crime?" I seriously contemplated for a moment staying on the phone with the freak just for the entertainment value. I mean, if he could say something this unhinged, surely there was a gold mine of other insane shit I could dig up with a few prodding questions.

I had to force myself to hang up despite the questions burning inside of me. He tried to text me for like 6 months asking why I wouldn't talk to him lol
