Can you please explain this more? Would love to get your thoughts on the commitment part
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 07:38 AM

I never understood this argument. Why would I sit through an average meal with an unbearable or someone I’m not interested person just for the sake of eating for free? If I split it or pay then we’re friends. I’d rather just be eating at home then deal with a man complaining he bought dinner and doesn’t get laid after the 1st date. Shit don’t add up. If you’re cheap just say that.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 07:36 AM

Oh that’s another thing! Lots of my guy friends have a HUGE thing for cougars. I see it a lot in my day to day life.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 07:09 AM

That’s fair to say if that’s your personal experience. But I think we’re coming into an age where people are taking their health (spiritual, mental and physical) more seriously so hopefully you’ll find your person. Also, with all the anti aging products on the market rn. Gen Z and millennials probably won’t physically age as badly as previous generations did.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 07:08 AM

Ahh purity culture myth. So much of that in this sub. I don’t think an attractive woman that’s an all around dime (not even just based on looks) looses value with age is all. But to each there own. As someone who is late 20s I have much higher value men as love interests then fuckboy a in my 20s that just wanted to use me for my body.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 04:41 AM

Other than fertility how would she be lesser value? Especially if she’s got an awesome personality, takes care of her self physically and emotionally, worked through her baggage and is an all around pleasure to be around. There’s lots of women like that. Especially in the city I live in.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/11/22 04:28 AM

Lots of older women late 20-40s look better and are of higher value than women in their early 20s. Edit: Lots of baddies and catches out there regardless of age Edit 2: sure, older women are less fertile but there’s plenty of people that don’t want kids. Fertility doesn’t really add to value if people are dating other people that don’t wanna have kids

Everything you just described is what true femininism/womanism stands for. It’s about breaking and challenging gender norms. Everybody wins! Womanism is a subgroup of feminism but it’s basically all what they’re about tbh

Yea but who set up the need for hypergamy in the first place? Just think about it for a sec… The patriarchy shot itself in the foot.

Idk man, I live near ASU and whenever I go to the bars these 20 year olds are mostly sloppy and slightly pudgy (still cute tho) and you can tell there deff not working out or eating well. I’ve met so many women in their 30s and even 40s that look better than those college girls. Just all around a package. And they have a whole line of men just waiting to court them.

Usually when me and my friends say these things about a guy a friend is dating is comes from a genuine place. After getting to know him, hearing about him, knowing what he’s like as a person his past, etc. If my friend is dating a bum with no work ethic, makes her insecure, has a shit personality and doesn’t have a future or is leaching off of her then yes… I’d consider him beneath her in a sense. Imma be 100% honest with my friends and if I see they can do better then I’m certainly gonna tell t…

There’s actually studies that have been done proving that men fall in love through courtship. Going slow and investing in a woman they’re interested in builds the hormones Norepinephrine and some vasopressin. Men fall in love when they court you. Of course women wanna be treated with respect and have the same rights as men. Like ya… we wanna be able to read, get educated, work and have access to birth control… wanting to be courted is completely different than having equality and wanting to be s…

Yes, but how do you not see how history still bleeds into society today? There’s still lots of progress to be made. Red pillers claim to be so smart but cherry pick facts. If you’re gonna make a post and have view points like this. You better learn the past. That’s how we as a society got to where we are today.

Meh, I disagree. I’d rather hold out for a little while getting to know a man that’ll leave if I don’t put out vs fucking them right away and them ghosting. Just adding another body. At least I’ll have my dignity and self respect in the first option

This is what FDS preaches about but y’all hate on them so hard on this sub. I agree with this post. And no, I’m not FDS but that’s something I strongly agree with. As a women, there’s no need to do GF/wifey things for a man that doesn’t invest.

I think having options is always a great idea when you’re first dating someone new! Only thing is, how do you bring that up? Some people get out off by that. I’d prefer just to have it unspoken.

I agree with this. At the start is supposed to be deciding if you like them enough to wanna tie it down. I do disagree with having an immediate goal in mind. If someone is dating for a LTR there’s ways to express that without putting pressure. Just cause someone dates with a goal of an LTR in mind doesn’t mean it’ll be with that person. They still have to vet too!

I only say why date if you don’t know what you want that cause what’s the point? For most women having sex and spending time with someone for a few months they’re gonna naturally want commitment. That’ll just lead to hurting her. If you want casual pussy or something casual and care free then just say that. But you’re completely right when you say some men are too pussy to outright say that. But like I said in a previous response, I take that as a possibility of a relationship depending on how i…

Very true, it’s hard to balance being nice and showing your “gf material “ to get him to commit without giving some of those benefits. There’s no need to commit if you’re getting everything already. But if someone says they don’t know what they want I take that as there’s a possibility for a relationship in the futre

All very good points which I’ve given thought. 22 years is a long time to be with someone. I don’t see why he’d get into a relationship with someone new when he’s freshly single. I’m sure he wants to explore the world a little bit with his new found freedom. And rightly so. I think it’s be a huge red flag if he rushed into a relationship. As for now he has his kids Sat-Tues so we do our dates during the week. No weekend stuff unfortunately. His son has a mental disability and is nonverbal. He’s …

It’s the holding back part that always messes it up for me. Especially after reading some of these dating/gender subs like r/purplepilldebate and TRP really scare me. But I’m definitely learning to be vulnerable because I do want an LTR. Potentially with him! It’s really cute and sweet that he’s got a low n count and was shy to kiss me on our first date. So I figured he probably doesn’t know how to spin plates... but that doesn’t mean he won’t try to in the future now that he’s free and single. …

They officially split up in may of this year. Had a trial separation last year then they tried to work out out but couldn’t. But like any LTR that ended. The relationship has been over for years. Idk all the specifics of why it didn’t work out. But I do know that other than growing apart, she didn’t wanna work or keep up with the house. I definitely don’t wanna make assumptions about him but I can’t help it!

Yes! I get way more attention from black and Latin men. But I’m noticing more and more white men are down for the brown these days. Still can’t figure out if it’s a fetish, curiosity or just overall attraction since that’s what seems to be on trend right now.

Yea there’s definitely a huge difference between having a soft belly and still having a feminine shape VS being boxy with no shape what’s so ever. The key is definitely curves. That’s kinda why I’m wondering if it really matters if one might be 10-20 lbs overweight but they still hold it well on their bodies.

You don’t need to see me to understand the point of my post. I just used my body type as an example. Most of the post on here say no one wants a fluffier women but me and my friends are living proof that that’s not reality. I’m just trying to figure it out is all. No need for personal comments lol chill out. This isn’t a rate me or roast me or looking for approval post. It’s simply a discussion

I’ve never denied my belly though. But the point of my post is lots of the men that hit on me are attracted to that on some level. Whether we meet OLD or IRL I never hide that fact that I’m I’m the softer/fluffier side. Maybe they like it because it’s feminine to them? Or maybe it’s because I have curves? Idk the reason. But I’ve never questioned this topic about me personally until I came on this sub. The theories on here just don’t add up to my personal dating experience. So I was curious abou…

Well this isn’t a health sub. You have my height and size and that’s really all you need to know. Ideal for whom? Which is the point of my post. I figured waiting another 2-3ish weeks/3-5 dates (give or take) before sex again. NO way I’m waiting 2-3 months to hve sex again. I’m saying it’s probably gonna take 2-3 months to figure out what we both want! And then from there decide if we wanna part ways or stay together. But realistically speaking, a 42 year old man is probably gonna want to play the field and spin plates before settling down. I know realistically speaking I’m probably just the first of many. But you never really know. Only…

Yea these are all good points! I definitely plan on evaluating on all these things. Going on 3 weeks is still so new to answer all of these questions entirely. I plan on giving it 2-3 months before I can answer. I for sure want to get/screen him more before continuing being in tante that’s for sure. But it’s too late for that I guess😅 I’m definitely flexible and open with “what ever happens, happens” BUT a part of me definitely wants to know if I’m just a rebound. These are all good questions. He’s recently divorced with 2 kids (one with a mental disability) and has seen one other person before me. Not sure if he’s still in his rebound stage but I definitely want a LTR. I am typically attracted to older men and realize older men have more “baggage”. But I told him I’m ok with short or long term as long as it’s healthy. I already know we’re gonna have awesome experiences together and even better sex with time. Silly how? I’m simply stated that the sex was good but I had a weak moment and slept with him before a solid emotional connection and friendship could be bonded and now I want to recalibrate. There’s no “shit test” here... idk where you got that from
/r/PurplePillDebate10/09/21 09:07 AM

The sex was awesome for both of us. But as I said in the post. I definitely prefer a more intimate connection. My message to him is pretty much you said and is sincere from my end. But my concern is that it’ll ruin the budding connection we already have. I enjoy sex but enjoy it more when there’s a deeper since of emotional intimacy and friendship. Too many chemicals get pumped into women’s brains during good sex that cloud judgment.

This is a good point. I definitely don’t wanna friend one him! I’m just recalibrating a little bit. Maybe I should explain I want to build a deeper emotional intimacy first? Or maybe I should just keep fucking him like some of the comments say lol. For me and lots of other women sex clouds judgment and having it too soon can make me look at things with a rose colored glass lense. I just want to avoid that.

This is a good response thank you. I personally think it was too soon as well. Our conversations and dates have been really great lately. I still want to build more of a connection first. I’m just worried telling him that will make him think I want more and scare him off. From my personal experience, you say the wrong thing and men go running. And this is one of them. I need to tread lightly. But I need to follow my heart. You’re right that it’s on him at this point. I don’t plan on making him w…

It definitely wasn’t a bad lay at all for both parties. We have a great connection but I just think the sex was too soon.
