I think OP should speak to legal aid/professionals for advice For sure, writing and monetizing her story would make some sweet lemonade 🍋

Yeah... He’s a narcissist. I wouldn’t even acknowledge that message, it/he doesn’t deserve a response.

One of my friends caught her husband in the act. She was in her 3rd trimester. They were together for 16 years and have a 4 year old kid. Major fallout from this, for her. Devastating.

Although it was after a long day at work, 30 minutes is insignificant. Up until now, indeed still, he does all the travelling, planning and paying I’ve maintained a level of detachment until recently, I think he sensed I was developing feelings for him which flipped a switch in his mind to “easy mode” As a recovering pickmeisha, thought I was too self-centered to be with anyone that doesn’t see me as the prize haha Want to dump him every other week! Well yes, it takes time and experiences to know someone. I want care compassion and humanity and of course people have intrinsic value. I’m learning how to discern whether a man is worthy of a place in my life or not. Rightly or wrongly I expected a HVM to vet me for that too. Sometimes I find it hard to distinguish between vetting and manipulation but FDS has helped me weed out a lot of men straight away and I’m getting better at putting the mindset into practise. He didn’t actually do harm to …

That is true... He’s also told me that I’m a very difficult person to get to know and spend time with and it makes him want me more. This was somewhat unintentional on my part because I was only mildly interested in him for a while in the beginning. Problem is I have developed some feelings for him and started reverting to my old pickmeisha ways... Maybe he only “wants what he can’t have” and he’s happier when I’m less accommodating/available? I’ve been annoyed at myself for spending more time w…

He was driving when we were talking on the phone and he kind of blurted it out like a half finished thought process, I paused before replying then he was really apologetic and quick to agree with my suggestion In the longer conversation we had over the weekend I asked him what he was thinking when he asked me that and he said he wasn’t really thinking ? Which is still NOT great I suppose

Yeah when you put it that way, he’s not in good form at all... And there have been other red flags... Guess I really should have given up the darning yesterday 🤦🏻‍♀️ So, to clarify your comment, do you mean to say that HVM don’t test ? Clearly I’m in need of FDS guidance 😂

Yeah it really irritated me that he would even suggest it. Such a turn off. I do feel like he is trying to manipulate me sometimes and I’m just not great at fielding but when I remember to do FDS things go great so it’s like a learning curve ?

A couple of times per week, either calling or texting to check in and organise the next date. Beyond that maybe a few social media likes if either of us have posted anything, maybe a meme. Not so much a constant chat everyday but a little something that shows they keep me in mind here and there. We’re both busy and I would find it annoying to have to keep a text chat going, or have pleasant but unproductive calls interrupting my day.

I recommend you consult your local conspiracy theorist for proper preppers advice. Whatever you do, don’t let LVM know you’re stocked up with the goods. LVM will do anything and everything to get into your pantries and not even thank you for it. Be smart, be safe.

You are perpetuating a toxic codependent relationship. Martyring yourself is nothing to boast about, it’s cringe-inducing. He is happy AF and laughing at you because you continue to expend your energy on him, validating his existence and boosting his ego. Starving him of attention would have greater chance of making him “realise what he lost”, if that’s what matters to you. A better scenario would be for you to learn, actually level up, and MOVE ON with your life. For your own sake. Be well ✌️

True on all fronts (both your comments) There are a few reasons I’m not sure about him. Maybe I’m looking for issues as well because I’ve finally found personal peace and stability (but it’s exhausting to maintain the balance). I feel like his presence in my life is having a flow on effect where I’ve started to compromise on things which lowers the bar for him and his efforts, which decreases my level of attraction to him. I think a man should enhance my life, not be another thing I have to mana…

Exotic Eurasian, beautiful face with a stunning smile, shiny long hair and a slender/fit/petite body. People stare at me a lot which can be irritating at times when I’m trying to go about my life inconspicuously. I was self-conscious yet naive about my appearance and never understood why people were “strange” to me until I grew up and realised I have a distinctive look and charisma that draws attention even when I’m not really looking for it. Most men are like stunned mullets or hapless dimwits when I smile big and converse with them, especially when I look them steadily in the eyes (I do this on purpose to put them off), they can’t hold my gaze and always look away first. Often they seem to get embarrassed then give me preferential treatment for whatever it is I have to interact with them for. I’m always “on”, warm and polite but concise and direct at the same time with a hint of sweetness. This blended attitude seems to confuse the…

If you’re craving physical contact you could try getting more pampering treatments, get your hair and nails done, massage, facials etc For me, cooking and eating great food seems to give feelings of sensory delight and satisfaction Plus all the other suggestions of exercise and keeping busy with personal leveling up goals I too would go for FWB if the risks weren’t so high (STD’s, pregnancy, emotional bonding with wrong guy, waste of time that would be better spent focusing on myself, etc)

Stay calm and keep being your sweet self so he lets his guard down. Do not have sex. Delay it by saying you’re not ready yet. Allow him to steer while you set the (slow) pace and give it plenty of time and space for him to reveal more of his true nature. Don’t tell him what you’re thinking. Date other men to compare. The red flags will contrast strongly 😉 That’s all I’ve got. Hope it helps you figure out...

If you want casual then keep doing what you’re doing and you’ll certainly gain experience in the process but but don’t expect anything to develop into a high quality relationship, quite the opposite. If a man doesn’t have to put much thought or effort into winning you/your time/affection, he is not going to value you highly and will treat you accordingly. If you don’t care, why should they? Go forth with awareness and the intent to have fun and learn. It’s fairly harmless if you have strong boun…

Probably referring to the total outlay of high quality makeup and skincare. Meaning, to create her absolute best excellent look, she uses xyz products that cost $200 per unit and she has the whole suite of prep, prime makeup, finish, etc. Adds up quick and easy like that. Because: shops don’t generally sell products in single use packaging. So whether she goes on 1 date or 10, the outlay for all the products she uses is the same total expense. (Just guessing)

Don’t be hard on yourself, you’re young and at least you’re on the right track with FDS. It’s a good opportunity to do some reflection. You might even become a bit obsessed with yourself, then start to build yourself up with a full and happy life that you design exactly the way you want, so you don’t have time to mope about low value men. They are nobodies that didn’t deserve the luck they had to discover you and spend time with you. It’s their loss and they’re so dim they don’t even realise it.…

Personally I think kissing is fine as long as it’s mostly in public. Don’t put yourself in a vulnerable position too soon, alone in private at night. After all you’re still getting to know eachother. This way you automatically have a buffer to prevent too much wandering hands or sexual escalation. If you find his hands going all over the place, simply move them off wherever they are and pull away. It doesn’t have to be in an upset way, just gently so he knows not to “go there”. You don’t need to…

I don’t think kissing on the first date is the worst thing that could happen. You did well to stop the hand on the leg. Guys may start out with good intentions but there is always a little voice in the back of their mind where they are curious to see how much they can get away with (test your boundaries) and if course they won’t turn down sex if it happens to be on the table. Moving forward though, control your urges before you go on dates with him (if you know what I mean...) Do NOT text him fi…

The feeling of being in love changes as you mature. There’s no harm in seeing what he has to offer and enjoying going on dates with him while you take the time to observe/unpack your thoughts and emotions. It might be a good thing you’re not swept off your feet straight away so you can see him clearly for the person he is (rather than romanticising or projecting your ideals).

Generally won’t find attractive successful men on OLD because they’re out in the real world living their best lives. Take up some hobbies OP like golf, sailing, go to wine tasting/foodie/art and music events, get into charity and philanthropic pursuits, travel as much as you can, read anything and everything to expand your intellect. Plenty of options way more fun and interesting than OLD take your pick!

She’s another Kate Middleton. The exception, not the rule. Both were so determined to lock down their chosen men, they tolerated rejection and disrespect until the men gave them commitment. If the men were of stronger character and properly broke up with these women, they might have realised they could (both) do better. Now these women are locked in to a life of codependency, kowtowing and supressing their true potential for weak and selfish men that drain their spirit.

More power to you. The vast majority of women working in the sex industry don’t come anywhere near those kind of numbers and at great expense to their mental/emotional/physical and spiritual well being. If you’re winning of course, continue to do whatever serves you best on your own terms (in every way) and reach your life goals.

It goes without saying, I’m only attracted to men that enjoy spoiling me. An ex would insist on taking me shopping, travelling on his dime, nice meals, supporting me to pay off my debts then rewarding me for succeeding, pampering me to look my best, gifts of jewellery, thoughtful surprises like cooking for me, rubbing my feet, running a hot bath with candles etc, covering expenses like rent etc. and the sex was great. Exactly. The “something” they want us to bring to the table is money. They simply don’t value anything else. This is why they are so fixated on divorce rape. If anyone is staring down the barrel of single motherhood and you have the opportunity to secure your financial future, by all means, DO IT. You have already sacrificed your life and have a long road ahead of you. Don’t let anyone guilt you into settling for less than you deserve. I think this is also about being mentally/emotionally fit enough to carry your own baggage so to speak. Oversharing any trauma or vulnerability creates unhealthy attachment and it’s best to avoid that kind of codependence.

Spelling it out to him was no doubt satisfying for you to some degree however I tend to think we should let them continue to fail romantically and find their own level where they truly belong (somewhere in hell). When we give them intel they can and will use it to their advantage (and our detriment). He’s just going to become a more polished turd.

The link isn’t working It’s cliche but in a dry spell I make the most of my freedom to do what I want when I want, prioritizing self care and self improvement and just loving my life as it is. Setting goals and taking steps to achieve them, being around people that matter to me and care about me, etc It’s frustrating at first until you realise it’s better to be single than in a less than ideal relationship that will eventually drag you down! Only you can create your own happiness.

Yeah I get it now 😊
