It's made me realize that there are very very few women worth settling down for. I will no longer put up with bullshit from women just for access to mediocre pussy. I wish I could go back in time and slap the shit out of 18 year old me and explain to him that very very very few women are worth giving up your freedom for.

I was married to a woman, completely dedicated to her, she was my one and only. I got starfish sex once every few months for our entire marriage when I repeatedly begged for it. I dated several women before and after that I was all in for. I bought flowers, texted them whenever I was free to ask about their day. I would buy little gifts just to be thoughtful. This got me the occasional kiss and starfish sex. I never did any of those things for sex, I did them because I wanted to treat my partner…

A (very bored) and bitter friend of mine made a fake dating profile. He used a super hot but realistic looking set of photos and swiped right on EVERYONE. The profile he used was a guy that looked like Henry Cavill's slightly less attractive younger brother. Had a couple hundred matches within a week. He then sent out a hundred or so "wanna fuck" messages and IIRC about half were either down for it, or would have been down if he had spent some time convincing them. He let me flip through his mat…

I'm okay with this. I was in a loveless/sexless marriage for 10 years. I wish I had the balls to end it after the first. But instead I tried to stick it out. Wasted 9 years of my life that I'll never get back. If we had kids, it would have been different, but my life is so much better now. I'd rather stay single and never again know the touch of a woman than be stuck in that horrible, horrible marriage.

Gunn is the dude who came up with the Peacemaker show. A dude that is walking toxic masculinity personified. I don’t know him personally but after you’ve been the target of cancel culture, you tend to have your eyes opened. Pretty sure he’ll do Superman justice. And I say this as Henry Cavill’s biggest fan.

I wish Asian men had our own Kevin Samuels. The dude told women what they needed to hear and gave them a reality check. The sad thing is that his advice was solid but very few women wanted to cancel him instead of listening to uncomfortable truths. The very few that listened to him have found tremendous happiness: https://youtu.be/q-XSWI8J2Us Unfortunately most of the 300lb single mothers demanding high value men would just try to cancel him instead of trying to better themselves

I’ve seen some scary ass things happen to good men. False sexual abuse claims in order to get full custody, encouraged by sleazy divorce lawyer. Mother then raises kids alone and refuse visitation rights to father just out of spite. Kids then turn out psychotic because the father wasn’t around to keep his kids in line. Kids hate him because father “wasn’t around”. All because a divorce lawyer wanted a big payday. I don’t agree with murder but I can empathize.

Same shit in engineering: -Women: it’s so sexist men are paid more! -Men: we need you to work some overtime to finish a product -Women: can’t. I have tickets to a show with the girls

You see this shit happening in engineering a lot these days. A bunch of dudes put together a platform. Platform gets popular. Woke activists protest your platform claiming misogyny because you don’t hire women. Since very few women apply to engineering roles, the company is forced to hire under qualified candidates. Unqualified candidates create more work for the men that put together the platform. Dudes have to put in extra hours to fix stuff unqualified candidates broke Dudes protest the extra…

Single with no kids. Have more money than I know what to do with. Women from my college and high school years have been messaging me through social media because they see I have my shit together. Sadly they are all fat, divorced with kids and looking for another walking ATM to provide for them. Not so sadly, my dating and sex life are the best they’ve ever been — because I avoided getting locked down by these blood sucking harpies.

Imagine telling this same story but instead of being a breakup it was a divorce. And you had kids. And a ton of assets. And she didn’t work. And you lived in California. And she claimed you sexually abused the kids. Dude, you got off easy. Many older men had all of the above and after being divorce raped by their feminist wife ended up offing themselves. Take the “W” and consider yourself lucky.

Asian guy here. I’ve seen this clip in full. Asian women are masters at emotional manipulation. Especially now in the era of social media, many of the smarter ones have learned how to weaponize emotions. Many will claim how they hate white supremacy and fully support BLM, but will only date white guys. Don’t believe anything they say, watch what they do.

In my case at least, the women that have given IOIs that were clear enough for me to pick up on…were women that have practiced giving men IOIs, ie they get around. Divorce laws and how they ridiculously favor women. How men are shamed for having standards and women are encouraged for it. (He must be 6’4=you shouldn’t settle! She can’t be fat=misogyny!) Yep. It’s even worse in California. In my case my ex made shit money because she was “interning” or some shit. You’ve met the looks threshold for 99% of men. At this point men just care if you’re the kind of woman they want to wife up or not. They are all asking themselves: Are you kind and sweet and feminine? Or are you argumentative and constantly trying to start fights? High value men would prefer a 7 that was kind and sweet over a 10 that was selfish and evil

Hypergamy has always been there, but online dating and social media has supercharged it to the point of bad comedy. But also disabled, which seemed to disgust her. I found it hard to have any sympathy for her after watching how she treated him.

I'm going to sound like an old man and say this is what happens when you stop prioritizing good morals as the first and most important lesson you teach kids Same. I used to give my parents shit for being so "old fashioned". Now I see that these aren't "old-fashioned" morals, as they are timeless morals.

A lot of Asian men are just numb to it. (Myself included)The single ones in Silicon Valley are just making boatloads of cash so they can retire early. In a weird way, they’ve done us a favor. I don’t have kids or a nagging and nasty wife so I am free to travel the world and enjoy life when I retire.

I have seen you work out over the last few months, and you are in great shape and very attractive, and I was wondering if you care to go out sometime?” This is what she said to me in an angry voice. “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU CAME OVER HERE!” “I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU SAID THAT!”. She then stuck her index finger in my face and said,”I DON’T DATE SHORTER MEN. Dude. Wow. That sucks. She clearly has some issues. As proof, I dated a woman 4’11” tall. I am 5’8”. (Even now, some women are getting sick at the thought of dating a man 5’8”.) I'm shocked she agreed to date you. I've noticed the shorter the woman, the taller her idea man MUST be (and she won't "settle"). Example: I saw some documentary on youtube where it showed a below average looking disabled woman that had dwarfism and cerebal palsy (or at least I think it was). She was 4'5 or something. (Think of a slightly taller, and older honey boo-boo).…

And she thinks she will get many to answer her ad. sadly, she will. And she will complain that they don't "meet her standards". "Ewwww...he's only 5'10!!" I've been tempted to start telling women I'm 5'13 to see if they catch on. But I bet a dollar most will see the "5" and immediately decide I'm not worthy.

I get where you're coming from --- but not all bodybuilders do drugs. I've lifted weights for decades and never touch the stuff. I also dismissed their ideas and advice -- only to my detriment. It's a lot of work to wade through the bullshit, but worth it for the nuggets of wisdom. And yes, bodybuilders do calorie counting. The freaks you're talking about also do it as well, but I ignore those idiots too.

I'm not discounting their drug use -- but I've been following a lot of lyle mcdonald's work and I have been grudgingly coming around. I dismissed a lot of their ideas as bro-science and drug use, but after having tried it and done calorie counting, I came around.

I have had issues with food and weight my entire life. I managed to fix both of them with one simple thing: calorie counting. It's so simple, yet so many people dismiss it and blow it off. Yet bodybuilders have been doing it for decades, swear by it, and no one takes it seriously. I've tracked my calories and also weigh myself several times per day and have been tracking my macros and weight for the past 3 years. At first I thought it was bullshit, since "I always eat healthy". But once I starte…

People are really shitty at visually estimating height/weight. I've had women act shocked when I told them i was 5'6 because I have such a big personality. I'm very forgiving when women lie about their weight +/- 20 pounds is a forgivable lie to me, but it seems if you are one inch below the magic 6' mark, you're a piece of shit that should be removed from the gene pool.

See this is why I say MGTOW isn't realistic for guys who haven't slept with at least 30 women (actually way more) and completely get it out of their systems. Never heard this spelled out for me, but now that I think of it, it makes sense. That number though might be +/- a few depending on the quality of women you've hooked up with. Most of my hookups are...not something to be proud of, so the 30 mark is a bit low for me. I think a more accurate statement would be "MGTOW isn't realistic for guys …

I did this for a couple of years. Lots of gyms now offer boxing training type classes where you basically do everything a boxer does except spar. (Mostly Asian girls — he says he’s going for at least 5) I called bullshit till he showed me his tinder and texts…

MGTOW sounded like a bunch of bitter losers at first. But then what many of them said made a lot of sense. A *LOT* of sense. Pretty much everything Richard Cooper said in Entrepreneurs in cars was spot in from my experiences: monkey branching, the cock carousel, chads and tryones. He was like the dad I wish I had. Everything was a slow burn really. It wasn't something I was ready to admit to myself (that women are hypergamous) and it took a while before I accepted it. Kind of like when I first f…

I was searching for ways to attract women, studied PUAs for a while and at some realized that I was probably never going to find what I wanted in a woman. I found Entrepreneurs in cars and started listening and a lot of what I heard spoke to me and resonated with me. I realized that all the men I’ve looked up to in my life were ones who chased excellence, not women. Ever since then my quality of life has dramatically improved.

How do you guys handle the depression and loneliness as you get older? I'm in my 40's and despite my efforts have not been able to make lasting friendships (I move a lot, work in software, live in the bay area where it's 99% male). I love having all this freedom and being financially secure, but some nights, especially on weekends, I think it would be worth the hassle just to have some company. There are some days where I can focus on my goals (workouts, language learning, etc) but sometimes bei…

I don't think we can ever really be sure. When I was married I deluded myself into thinking it was great and would try to shame my single friends into getting married. Why? Because I really thought having a wife that hated me was better than being alone. Now when I look at my married friends I pity them and the life they chose. They have no freedom and cannot come and go as they please. I am in better shape, work harder, and have a better life than any married guy I know. When my married friends…

Tell them your wife died and you're still grieving or whatever and get your story straight in full details. This is excellent advice. I hate lying as a matter of principle but some people are just nosy douchebags that just don't get it. A little white lie like this is enough to just kill that line of questioning.

I've heard of guys that would immediately take a freezing cold shower everytime they had the urge. I tried that once and it worked however doing it every time, especially in the winter was not gonna happen. I agree that the all or nothing mindset can be counterproductive sometimes, but when I stopped for almost 90 days I thought, sure why not reward myself with one night? That turned into a 2 month binge. So be careful about that. Hope you're stronger than I was...

Good luck with this. I've tried a few times and for the most part watch waaaay less porn than before. Maybe a couple of times a month? What gets me is that sometimes on those lonely nights with no one around I just break down and do it out of loneliness and frustration. Sometimes when I'm trying to focus on my hobbies (studying languages, music, etc) I just can't focus and push past it. I hope you have better luck than me.

PLEASE let me know how it goes. I'm seriously considering it, but just feel so fucking awkward about making the appointment. Does she come to your place? Will she bring her bf back later to rob you? etc, those are the kind of things that run through my brain

disclaimer: I know fuckall about biochemistry but it seems to me that the reason we are so happy in relationships is that we get the oxytocin and prolactin release. (there's was a study that says prolactin in 400x greater after intercourse with a partner than masturbation). But both of these chemicals are something we can introduce into our bodies. ie we can introduce exogenous oxytocin & prolactin. Would that be enough to stave off the loneliness and depression?

Wow. I hope to have as much passion for a hobby as you do. I am in awe.

That's really great advice. I plan on picking up a language soon. It's just that when the weekends roll around I sit at my desk staring at books that I can't get myself to open because I'm thinking "I'm a fucking loser with no friends". I just need to crack that and I'll get the ball rolling. Maybe force myself to just do ten minutes per weekend?

I can't quite pull the trigger on a doll. For some reason in my brain it's the line between lonely depressed guy and creepy lonely depressed guy. No offense to miltonsyncom --- just had a convo about this with someone. I do agree with the cortisol thing, i keep looking back at all the fun trips I took with my ex but then forget about all the times she made me batshit crazy.

Serious question...do you think the love doll will give you the same oxytocin release as with a normal person?

I was actually being 100% serious. It never occurred to me to phrase it like that. I've always wondered what my girl friends thought of me but knew they'd always softball me to save my feelings.

Don’t ask your girl-friends... “what is wrong with me”. Ask them with psychology. Put an scenario and ask opinions, ask them about other guys and what is wrong with them. They won’t tell you what is wrong with you... but they will tell you what is wrong with others. They are coward. But you have to use psychology to get the info. Be creative and not like somebody who needs help. Holy. Fucking. Shit. Why have I never thought of this? So simple, yet so fucking effective. You sir, are a goddamn g…

Hang in there brother. You're doing a service just by telling your story to other men out there. Its reading stories like this that keep me from getting into deep depression since my divorce. Just know that you're helping out others by trying to be a good dude, despite evil people hurting you.

I’m being vague because I know some coworkers might be reading this, but it’s a distinct possibility. She was looking for a mentor and I told her I wasn’t available so she said she wanted to hang out. I made it really clear it was not going to be in a professional capacity if we did hang out. Yet she still was ok with it.

I’ve heard conflicting research. I haven’t looked into it myself but I do indeed feel much better after a cold shower. Something about training the vagus nerve on your spine.

There’s something like 16,000 Toastmaster clubs out there. You should try a different one as I’ve found them to vary tremendously from club to club.

You’d be amazed how much height helps. My buddy’s profile literally just has 6’4 on it and one picture of him. He gets laid left and right and has more dates than he can handle. On the other hand he has the social skills of a brick wall. If I could get laid as easily as him online I wouldn’t have accomplished have the things I did. It can suck and feel unfair but who wants to play life on easy mode?

I’ve read stories of how some douchey college guys are having threesomes and moresomes because of the huge gender disparity in some places. They start out life thinking this is normal lol. In some ways I think it’s good to live in a place like Silicon Valley. It forces men to be better.

I’ve heard the exact same thing and I really don’t get why this is the case. It can’t possibly be due to all the dudes from other countries moving here for work. (Although it seems like it in SV)

Thanks! I feel sorry for the women here. Every activity I’ve done (improv, Salsa dancing, crossfit) has been almost all men. And the few women that show up get swarmed right away.

Most women in big cities have to deal with people trying to sell them stuff, pickpockets, and petition signature people. Or they could actually be pricks.

I've done this and have had some success. Well by success I mean I've gotten a couple of dates but nothing more. I think the problem is that I'm older (40) which can tend to be weird if she's younger (23 ish). Not sure if it's just my imagination but I keep thinking they see me as a creepy old guy chasing young tail. I mean it's true but I don't want to come off that way.

I sometimes do daygame in SF and one of the biggest reasons I am so scared is that I'm afraid of getting "caught". Let's be realistic, 99.99% of the guys in a similar situation would not be as cool as OP.
