To be honest she’s kind of not. My stepmom is the same. My grandma was the same. There are many many millions of women just like your Mom.

Ugh I’m so sorry. Hearing that probably felt as bad as actually being slapped. Red pill does NOT advocate abuse. Good captains/leaders/husbands do not hit or threaten to hit their wives. I can understand his frustration with you going over budget but that’s not an excuse. I can see why you feel creeped out and don’t want him to touch you. The fact that he feels parenting his own child emasculates him tells me he’s a deeply insecure man hiding behind religion and RP ideology. If I were in your po…

I won’t really get into the relationship aspect because your depression is what stood out the most to me. I know “go get some exercise” sounds like a brush-off but your husband is right. Exercise is the best and most under-utilized anti depressant. I have finally gotten a 20 year treatment resistant clinical depression under control through exercise (and an herbal regimen). You need to take care of yourself the way you would care for a child. What do children need? Sunshine, healthy food, outdoo…

Mama’s boy and coddling, nosy codependent MIL alert. They don’t sound like they have a healthy relationship whatsoever. She doesn’t respect boundaries and he doesn’t have any. This would really bother me too. It’s insane to cry cause your 30 year old son doesn’t you to clean his house Could you and she have a heart to heart? If I found out my meddling was causing issues in my sons relationship I would be backing off. I think you need to talk to her about this lady to lady.

Why are you even entertaining this? Don’t be naive. “He gives me tingles...but I won’t sleep with him!” This is red pill, time for some painful self reflection. If given enough opportunity - you will sleep with him and you will justify to yourself why you did it. You will hate yourself for sleeping with him and hurting his wife and children. It will eat away at your soul from the inside out. You will hurt your career and possibly nuke your social reputation. And when it ends badly with him (and …

They do it all the time. Here’s the thing. People who cheat almost always lie about to other people to make themselves look better. His ex wife might have been putting out every night! But he would never tell you that because then the sad man victim narrative would crumble. They lie and spin half truths to make themselves look less despicable. He cheated and lied their whole marriage. He has a greasy casual attitude about truth and integrity and his past behaviour shows it. Don’t listen to his w…

Why not just break up then? He’s a high status guy, he would find someone else. He didn’t do that though, just continued to enjoy all the benefits while her mental health spiralled. That’s not a healthy dynamic at all. Sometimes things really are simple.
/r/RedPillWomen02/08/19 06:01 PM
9

Her mental health spiralled BECAUSE he was lying and cheating. Her mental health problems didn’t make him act like that. They were a direct result of her anguish and stress at his behaviour. And I do understand relationships - they are transactional whether we like it or not. She’s getting a raw deal. He gets everything and she’s getting lies and disrespect. How is staying in that better than leaving? You’re blaming her and saying she doesn’t deserve him is absolutely wrong.
/r/RedPillWomen02/08/19 05:40 PM
7

You can’t. Once that trust and respect is gone, it’s almost impossible to get back. The way he has behaved it’s a wonder he even had your trust and respect in the first place. Set higher character standards for the men in your life. A handsome face, money and status mean nothing if he behaves like garbage.
/r/RedPillWomen02/08/19 02:59 PM

Are you kidding me?? She cooks, cleans and lets him fuck around while she stays loyal and she’s the one who doesn’t deserve him?? Absolutely retarded. You have lost the plot if this is your response.

I’m older than you, my friend. I remember really struggling with the concept of aging in my late 20’s and early 30’s. Hitting 35 made it easier somehow. I’m 37 now and hardly ever think about my age or post wall status. I know this is...incredibly dark. But I see aging very differently these days. I lost my best friend to cancer at 29. Now I realize what a privilege it is that my body continues to exist. Aging means not dying in my prime of an illness or accident. That makes me incredibly fortun…

There is a concept from MRP that I love and it’s basically that you need to cultivate an attitude of abundance. Your crush is far from the last decent guy and cultivating the attitude of abundance will help you realize that and keep you on an even keel. You also need confidence cause the attitude of lack stems from insecurity and lack of confidence. The best way to build your confidence in a genuine way is to set self improvement goals and then work hard to reach them. Nothing helps you build tr…

It’s not a rule but an idea I see and it grinds my gears. The idea that the woman should submit to her husband even if he’s wrong and then STFU about it. There’s an example from one of the recommended books (I’m sorry I can’t remember which one) where the author’s husband bought a sports car she knew they couldn’t afford. She gave her blessing but a few months later they didn’t even have money to pay the utilities or buy lightbulbs. This, to me, is the definition of an absolute doormat FOOL. My …

The way I see it you are chasing this man and leading the relationship. You come to his house and spend your gas doing it so you can pick things up from across the room cause he’s too lazy. He tells you he doesn’t care if you stay or not. You’re not even committed to each other. I hate to say this but it sounds like he has a great, convenient placeholder that will drop her life to come see him and pick up after him. He gets convenience, sex and a maid. What do you get? He’s lying. He’s upset that girls are sending him nudes? Bullshit. No one is sending him nudes and if they are it’s because he asked. He’s just saying whatever he can think of to get you. He’s thirsty and desperate and his actions and words don’t line up.

Absolutely not. Stating that he wants to marry you by the third chat is an absolute flaming see-it-from-space red flag. This is love bombing and it’s a manipulation technique. I’ve heard a lot of men will literally right-swipe EVERYONE. They are playing a numbers game. That said I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being the first one to say hello or send a message. Men aren’t the best at breaking the ice and now most are afraid to.

I’ve never done it but I have a lot of friends who have and it caused problems in their lives for sure. Attention and validation causes a dopamine spike and it’s easy to get hooked on the thrill. One of my friends kind of became a huge attention whore and it made her obnoxious. Men in our friend group said they enjoyed looking at her but would never consider her to GF material. The attention-thirst is a huge turnoff for men, despite all the likes and surface validation. Instathots are a dime a d…
/r/RedPillWomen13/07/19 08:51 PM

Honestly, that kind of attention feels thrilling in the moment but overall is pretty cheap. Men’s attention isn’t hard to get, but the love and trust of a good man sure is and nothing in the world feels better. It’s natural to seek validation but when I stopped doing that I was so much happier overall. A saying I tell myself frequently is “validation is for parking tickets”. You are not a parking ticket. You’re a human being whose worth is so far beyond likes from thirsty men on Instagram.

Competition is everywhere and I’m very aware of that. I don’t want it in my living room. My father and grandfather were faithful and strong husbands. They were never weak or lazy, ever. If only having one lady makes you weak and lazy, that’s on you.

Over at the age of 40? Not in the least! That’s when a lot of women just get rolling. Women don’t just suddenly dry up like old husks the minute they aren’t in their thirties. In fact many 65+ woman have happy and healthy sexy lives.
/r/RedPillWomen12/07/19 10:26 PM
9

Never in a million years. I’m a one-man woman and want a one-woman man. Being at home all day with other women waiting for a man to come home so I can compete for his attention is a solid no from me. That sounds like misery. There is absolutely no motivation for me to be in a “marriage” like that.

Also - it makes perfect sense for partners who both work full time to share domestic duties. Your feelings about that are valid and make sense. RPW doesn’t mean slave or doormat.

I’m definitely a mixed bag (much more centrist politically and I do believe some feminist points have merit) but I find RP to be very helpful personally. RP helps me understand the “why” behind men’s behaviours and preferences. Men like smooth skin on women because body hair signifies male sex hormones more than female sex hormones. It’s more biological than we give credit for. Once you realize the “why” - RP makes more sense. For example - men have a deep deep fear of raising a child that isn’t…

I understand you’re feeling like it’s not worth the fight. I’m sickened that you’re in this position. Y’all need some employees rights. Oh that’s too bad! I can understand that. My tolerance for bodily grossness is high, I can see others absolutely loathing some aspects of cloth.

Cloth can be super cheap!! My entire cloth stash was less than $100. That’s three boxes of disposable diapers. Of course you can spend far more than that. But you can also spend far less. We had the semi-fancy all-in-twos and inserts but flat cloth dipes can be bought for pennies.

Look into your legal options right now! In my country that would be so illegal. Firing a pregnant woman so you don’t have to pay mat leave is beyond greasy and many countries have laws that protect you from that so it’s absolutely worth looking into. I think your husband crying is actually a really good sign. He takes his responsibility seriously and trusts you enough to be vulnerable. I’m all about using (only) the stuff that makes the most impact. For me that’s BB cream, mascara, brows, a touch of cream blush and tinted lip balm. My makeup can be applied in five minutes flat. I don’t have time for a full-face routine with contour and 3 shades of eyeshadow and I’m assuming you don’t either. But just these products in the right colours can freshen you right up. Oh! And dry shampoo is every mom-of-two-small-children’s best friend.

Ding ding ding. This just screams triggered cheater whataboutism. It’s so transparent I have secondhand embarrassment for the OP. Just looking for justification and excuses.

Ahhh a triggered cheater. Do you know how ridiculous you sound? And how selfish? “But muh unmet neeeeeds”. Just stop. Many women do their best to meet their man’s needs and put out far more than they actually want in order to satisfy their husbands. Husband still chases strange. I’m not saying this in a glib or flippant way so please take this with the care and respect that I mean it in - it sounds like getting some therapy would be helpful for you. It’s not really fair to “punish” everyone with the mistakes of others in your past. I’ve gone through this stage too and I know it’s hard to get through. I think this is terrible advice. It is not to a woman’s benefit whatsoever to give it all up to a man so easily. That’s how your N count gets high and your heart gets broken and jaded. While this might get a man’s short term attention it won’t get his respect or his love.

I think giving him the silent treatment and sleeping on the couch isn’t going to help. You’re just setting yourself up to look insecure and petty (I don’t think you are). Daily exercise will give your skin a glow that no cream or makeup can fake. Eating lots of greens, berries, flax, fish and nuts has done wonders for my looks. Age gap between two adults is very, very different than a 23 year old “dating” a 16 year old child. If she’s 23 and he’s 30 - that’s a completely different thing. Any adult with common sense can see that.
/r/RedPillWomen29/06/19 06:26 PM
13

I would definitely DEFINITELY say something. It might not help cause teenagers gonna teenage - but better than not saying anything. Is her being 16 mean it’s ok for him at 23? Sometimes the age of consent between two minors is different than the age of consent between an adult and a minor. I would definitely look into that one. I’m so so sorry. It’s such a painful experience, I can’t imagine going through it while pregnant with his child. I stayed after he cheated and I regret it. I was never able to get over it and I see now I never will. Another four years of my life wasted after he wasted the first 14. But I’m not you and I don’t know your life. I do feel your pain though. You’re in the jaded anger stage of the red pill. Most of us go through this stage, I definitely did so I get where you’re coming from. The men’s red pill is interesting place to observe but remember that it’s full of angry, jaded men and while there’s a core of golden truth - there’s a lot of vitriol and bullshit to wade through to get it. I know a lot of men who loved their wives and were faithful to them to the end. My grandpa was a loving and faithful husband even after my grandma gained a lo…

This is about you and your insecurities. You need to figure out a way to get past it before it poisons your relationship. It sounds like he has been transparent. Have you ever been cheated on or had cheating in your family history? I think you need to do some soul searching on this one cause you’re blowing it out of proportion (I say this as a wife whose marriage is over because he was a serial cheater).

Attractiveness is subjective and can grow or diminish in your eyes depending on how a man carries himself and behaves. My first real boyfriend was my best friend for two years before I fell for him. I first thought he was a chubby goof but he won me over with his character and personality. He might not have been classically attractive - but he was very attractive to me.

Therapy, my friend. Growing up in a cult alone calls for serious reprogramming. Do you have healthy, wholesome friends or family? If not you need to find some. Just a little story on this topic - I had to make a sudden 2 day drive to see my mom when she was palliative. I stayed the night with my old best friend who I hadn’t seen in at least 4 years. Your comment doesn’t really make sense. “You were serious about transitioning but felt uncertain.” That’s a total contradiction but that aside... You don’t research female behaviour, you surround yourself with it. You find a group of feminine women and spend time with them. I’m getting the feeling that the true heart of this is that you have an idea that being feminine or being a woman is lesser. Deep down you think women are inferior. Absolutely do not give him control. He has not proven himself responsible. Not every man is fit to be called Captain and his having a penis doesn’t mean he’s capable of handling this responsibility. I get it. You want to be red pill. Part of being RP is proper vetting and admitting when something doesn’t work. Letting an irresponsible person handle the finances isn’t RP, it’s foolish.
/r/RedPillWives06/06/19 04:52 PM

I totally respect that and love your attitude of non-entitlement and your respect for your fella’s finances. I think that’s a lovely character trait. How would you feel about asking him out once in a while and letting him know it’s your treat? I wouldn’t touch the bill but you could very sweetly offer to go Dutch or split. I think it could be emasculating unless you do it very sweetly but the right tone with a sincere smile makes all the difference.
/r/RedPillWomen02/06/19 09:25 PM

Why do you believe in splitsies? Why is it so important? (Not challenging you or calling you wrong, just curious). I think gracious acceptance is very feminine personally. You can always offer to get after-dinner drinks or dessert.

Ok so you’ve ruled out any potential shadiness on your part so this is definitely him. Sounds like he is really insecure. When he’s going off about you “cheating” - how is he acting? Angry? Hurt? Sad? I’ve noticed that men who are like this tend not to listen to any sort of reason. They have this idea in their heads and nothing you do or say will ever change it. Do you have a history of cheating or even behaving in a way that could make a man think you cheat (eg being flirtatious with men you shouldn’t be)? Does he have any reason not to trust you? If the answer to this is an honest “no” I would take his behaviour as a red flag. Perhaps he’s been damaged by cheating women in the past. I think it’s really important to communicate your expectations in a loving way. “Mother’s Day is important to me. I would really appreciate if we celebrated it next year.” No Covert expectations or contracts. No love bombing Father’s Day in the hope that he will reciprocate. That’s only going to set you up for disappointment. And it’s ok to communicate your disappointment and hurt in a gentle and non accusatory way. Men aren’t mind readers, but it’s ok to have your feelings of disappointment.

Many do. And Mother’s Day isn’t about them!
/r/RedPillWives13/05/19 04:31 PM

Not necessarily true. My husband does a lot to make Mother’s Day special. And it’s not about consumerism if you don’t make it that way. A nice homemade breakfast and homemade card and a special “I love and appreciate you” is a beautiful way to celebrate and you don’t have to spend anything or buy anything necessarily. It’s the thought and the effort that count. Saying “men just don’t care” is just pure laziness.

I’m really sorry to hear that. I hope your next pregnancy is a happy and healthy one. First Mother’s Day is really special and important. I thought it was just a Hallmark holiday until I had children. Saying “it’s just another day, get over it” isn’t helpful. It’s not just another day, it was her first Mother’s Day and her feelings of disappointment are absolutely understandable and valid.

According to the ACOG the risk of a baby with a birth defect is 1 in 940 at age 30 and 1 in 353 at 35. So let’s not get too ahead of ourselves with the “have a baby at 29 or else”. Another thing we need to consider is that fertility does not mean readiness to parent. A lot of people in their 20’s are not ready yet, either emotionally, financially or in their lifestyle. Having a healthy baby is wonderful, but not if you can’t support your child financially or you’re not mature enough to make that…

An article on a website for coloured contacts is hardly “evidence” that guys prefer anything. They will tell you anything to sell you stuff that you don’t need. Straight up - your eyes are pretty just the way they are and coloured contacts look unnatural and do nothing for eye health. Gaming for 144 hours during your newborn’s first two weeks is absolutely beyond the pale and way beyond “a man needs his hobbies”. Expecting anal sex from you when it triggers you to crying is incredibly uncaring at best and emotional abuse at worst. Good post OP. One challenge I was surprised by was how difficult I found the lack of structure to be. I had to make my own structure and I found that very difficult. It was so easy to let all the hours, days and weeks kind of run together and that wasn’t good for my mental health. Setting up structure for the children and then adhering to it myself really saved my sanity.

Wow. I’m really sad for you, that would be a huge blow if I were in your shoes. I think you need to make your feelings crystal clear to him - but focus on “I” statements. “I feel extremely taken for granted and very hurt by your omission” instead of accusatory. I really hope he gets it and makes this up to you OP.

Get a bike and find some safe gravel paths! I started that 8 months ago and haven’t stopped going 5-6 days a week for long rides. I’m absolutely hooked on it because it’s so much fun! Now I’m getting serious about it and find myself eating well for athletic performance’ sake. I find that incredibly motivating for me! I’m working on dropping weight so I’m faster in an upcoming race. As I’ve fallen in love with a sport (it can be any sport) I find myself naturally taking much better care of myself…

How can she not fix his mistakes though? They have kids together. If husband fucks up and doesn’t pay the mortgage - the kids lose their home. It’s way more than “oh you forgot your lunch again but I’m too busy to bring it so you’ll have to be hungry till dinner. The stakes are too high when there are children in the mix.

You can accept yourself without putting towel photos on Instagram. It’s not about accepting yourself, it’s about you needing validation. He doesn’t care about you. If he did he wouldn’t say things like “you’ll never get over me”. That’s not love, that’s not caring. That’s manipulation. If he loved you he wouldn’t string you along while being married to someone else. If he loved you he wouldn’ make you live a lie. You are young and naive and he took full advantage of you. I would suggest a class on baby care basics. Most hospitals with maternity wards have them. How often do you bring up feminism? Are you picking arguments?Dont do that if you are. Perhaps those friends are a lost cause but you don’t need to exclude feminists from your life forever. At 38 I don’t get “hit on” or gawked at as much as I did but I certainly don’t mind. I get treated with much more respect and deference now than I did at 21. I’m treated like a lady by most. People are more forgiving of my flaws. However I have worked hard on my presence and how I present myself and I think that’s a huge part of it. You really need nun mode. You are not ready for a relationship and if you start dating “to distract yourself “ (yikes) you are going to end up in another really heartbreaking place. You need to fix you. Figure out your stuff, unmess yourself. Cut ties with Peter and John and let your heart heal. And not for any guy but for your own health and happiness.

Your fertility is not declining at 24. You need to chill about that. It is MUCH better to have a child when you are ready to raise them, not necessarily when your eggs are at their freshest. I’m not saying wait till you’re 39 to start but at 24 you have time and your first priority should be finishing your degree and becoming more financially stable. You will be in a much better position to raise a child then.

Wash your face with a cleanser morning and night. Moisturizer with SPF (sunscreen) in the morning after you wash your face. You can use moisturizer (without sunscreen) at night too if your skin is dry. Use a face scrub once a week (gently! You’re not trying to take off paint here). I really like Cerave and Cetaphil brands. You can do more than this but this is a basic skincare routine that will be enough for most.

Wow, so no one comments on how he’s ripping her confidence to shreds and then telling her “she should have more self esteem?” Cause that’s a massive red flag. Yes unattractive women can have happy marriages but it really helps to have a husband that isn’t openly flirting with other women and trying to lock down a younger woman. If your husband wasn’t behaving like that my advice would be to focus on the things that you’re really really good at and remember that our looks fade anyway.

RP is not a hive mind. Consensus isn’t possible :) We’ve both had a turn at being a stay at home parent while one works full time. The at home parent does about 80% with the other one filling in the gaps. Right now husband is at home. I would never expect him to do absolutely everything. Frankly kids and house are a 24/7 job whereas my job is only 40 hours a week. So of course I help out. When it was the other way around he helped out too. Whatever terminology you want to use - I don’t care. Doesn’t change the fact that being jaded is a character flaw that most of us will want to vet against. You can use whatever label you want, the end result is the same. If you’ve taken yourself out of the dating pool, why should women bother with you much less have a strategy to date you? Do you have a specific strategy for cat ladies? I’m thinking no. This post is utterly irrelevant to women or our goals.
/r/RedPillWomen21/12/18 03:11 PM

Being jaded is a negative personality trait and red flag. I don’t give a shit about MGTOW’s. I’m not here to convince them or change their minds. I’ve noticed that a lot of self proclaimed MGTOW are actually pretty obsessed with women and spend more time thinking about them then regular dudes. Just like the #foreveralone girls. I’m not forming a strategy to date men who don’t want to date. That’s a silly waste of everyone’s time.

You’re totally overthinking it. She loves it cause it’s her dog, not because it came from him. You sound really jealous and controlling which only takes away your value.

Public schools vary widely between cities and even different neighbourhoods. We lived in a “poorer” neighbourhood (houses were still in the 450k range so still not a particularly low income area) when our first was elementary age and moved to an upper middle class neighbourhood and catchment over the summer. The difference in between schools is pretty startling. The new school is far better equipped and staffed. There are more teaching assistants and less “problem kids” that take most of the tea…

I think it’s really hard for most women to objectively rate ourselves. I see a lot of younger women posting here who describe themselves as 9’s but I have a hard time believing there are that many real world 9’s and they are all on RP. I find this to be 1000% true, especially in the workplace. I’m in healthcare and the rules are strict about nails and jewelry but we are allowed to wear athletic wear instead of scrubs (I don’t work in hospitals). A lot of my workmates wear hoodies and yoga pants to work. I was a postpartum doula and placenta encapsulation specialist for about 4 years and it was really rewarding to work from home and support other moms. My one caveat - don’t get sucked into any MLM’s. They really prey on moms at home with small kids, take a lot of time and give very little $ in return. I know several moms who would invest hundreds of $ for “start up kits”, manage to sell nothing and then move on the next MLM, becoming more and more desperate and broke each time. :(

My friend got married last summer for less than 3k. They married on her brothers farm and had a potluck picnic which everyone loved. She scored a beautiful lavender dress for $50. Her mom grew all the flowers. She and her husband made all the favours the weekend before after splitting a bottle of wine. They had so so so much fun making the…

Nope not worth it. We eloped and it was great. Married on the beach with a justice of the peace and 2 friends of ours. My only regrets are that we didn’t dress up (even a little) or get any professional pictures done. We spent $200. I don’t feel like we missed out that much. It’s a failed marriage at this point (14 years later) and if I ever get married again it will be a simple and frugal wedding. The idea of spending a house downpayment on one day would stress me out too much to actually enjoy…

Thank you for the reminder. As women - we need to cool our jets a bit with those instagram expectations sometimes and remember that a party that lasts one day is not with damaging our relationships or finances.

He’s still her son. If I saw my child in a state of emotional distress because of their boyfriend or girlfriend - you bet your butt I would say something. Sometimes you can’t see the red flags when you’re in a relationship and it takes an outside perspective. She’s his mother and will always look out for his best interest. That’s how it goes.

Don’t think of it as a cold open. Just think of it as being friendly! Take some of that pressure off yourself and it might be easier.

My number one regret in life was marrying and staying with someone with a shady sexual history. Please don’t make the same mistake as I did. He might saveable but only he can do it and it’s a lot of work. Maybe after a few years of therapy he might be ok, but that’s a huge gamble I would never take. Girl, it’s time to go.

Decide on a colour palette and paint things to match it! We do a palette of white, cream and light grey. All of our furniture is mismatched and secondhand but you would never know it because it’s all in the same colour palette. Learn how to refinish furniture and you will always have a ton of cheap options! Plants add a lot of life and good energy to a room and there are many that aren’t toxic to pets and children. Did you tell him how violated you feel? I would be really clear about that. My soon to be ex read my diary right when we first started dating (did it a few other times too) and looking back it’s a huge massive red flag I should not have ignored or downplayed. Insecurity and lack of respect kill relationships every day.

The truth is you’ve devalued yourself in Will’s eyes and his relationship with you has cost him his friendship with his best friend. I can’t really blame him for wanting to be “casual” after that. I think you need to move on. Move way on. This social circle and these relationships are tainted. Better yourself, meet new men and then do better. The good part of this is that you’re young and you can learn from this mistake

It’s a red flag for me when someone who isn’t life long committed wants access to all your personal stuff. This is how an abusive relationship started between one of my friends and her boyfriend. Pretty soon not even her male cousins were allowed to message her on FB without him losing his mind and it got super ugly very fast. In a marriage - I can see a couple giving each other mutual access - but it must be mutual or again - big red flag.

No I still think your experience and insight is valuable - I just don’t know how to apply it to my own life. Maybe I’ll think of it as a “caution sign” rather than a lesson per se. I do think you’re selling your mom a little short though. I mean, the woman was/is an engineer. I definitely respect her obvious intelligence and capability cause I could never do that. Two people who really don’t know what they are doing or what they like or don’t like? No thanks. What if your new wife finds she can’t get off without anal and the idea disgusts you? What if you like it rough and she’s the gentle type? And neither of you even knows this about yourselves yet - much less your spouse. Sexual compatibility is far more important to me than an intact hymen.

Honestly, I regret getting married with so little experience. Turns out sexual compatibility is actually pretty damn important. My husband and I (soon to be ex) are not sexually compatible and our kinks don’t match at all. I had no idea at the time because he was my only. I’m not saying ride the carousel, but I don’t believe marrying as a virgin is a good idea. Sex is too important to me to just “buy sight unseen” so to speak.

Girl, he’s just not that into you. I’m sorry. If he was really into you you would know it. This awkwardness and “non-talk” is actually pretty clear. I suggest letting it go. Yep faulty logic but super common! You have to become a complete person on your own first. Relationships where someone relies on their partner to define them as people are EXHAUSTING to be in and usually don’t last or become very codependent. Do you have any hobbies or passions? Invest yourself in them. They don’t have to be exciting. You just gotta figure out what your things are! Personally I play piano/sing and collect and care for my houseplants. If one thing has been drilled into us since birth it’s that our youth and beauty is our biggest asset and it’s running out rapidly. Blue pill and red pill alike. Women are extremely aware of what you call the wall and we don’t need men writing up long protracted essays about it. We don’t need your reminders, trust me we know. 🙄
/r/RedPillWomen20/07/18 04:01 PM

Right!! That’s exactly why I’m so sick of reading about it here. It’s always men that bring it up too. “Remember you won’t be hot soon cause wall”. Women are quite well aware of it thank you very much. 🙄

Yes they eat at women more than men. Men aren’t told that their biggest virtue is their youth or beauty. I get the biological attraction to youth and beauty - it makes perfect sense. But it’s a small part of who we are. Our obsession with it is really toxic.

“Women are either attractive or hideous.” Lol that’s ridiculous. It is NOT this black and white. Someone I find hideous might be stunning to you and vice versa. I think this wall shit is so so so overplayed here and it makes women feel terrible about themselves when it’s something they can’t help. You can’t NOT age, you can’t bring fertility back once it goes. Why so much fretting over this thing we can’t control? Just...do your best. No I would never suggest being “lol ok”. He was disrespectful and I understand why you were upset. I would keep it short and sweet. I find that a “that’s not cool or okay” goes a long way. It’s a way of pointing out the behaviour - not totally emasculating him as a person/man. There is HUGE power in showing emotional restraint. Saying you don’t approve and leaving the room is very clear but leaves his ego intact. When I see shitty drivers I never give the finger - I give a “thumbs down” and head…

There’s a lot to unpack here. You probably don’t want my general advice but a few things that stuck out to me - “ice skating” is a reference to meth. You mentioned you worried about him doing drugs - unless he’s some kind of hockey guy that would be a yellow flag. When you said “there are other guys way better looking than you” IN FRONT OF HIS FRIENDS that was absolutely brutal. It totally depends on your build. If you have a smaller bone structure it might be overweight but not super overweight. I’m the same height and looked awesome at 160 because I have a very athletic build. I have friends who have smaller builds that would look pretty dumpy over 140. I feel like this is kind of out of touch with reality today. Women don’t work because we aren’t domestic women, we work because we have to! To be honest I’m really tired of men using this sub to air out their grievances against feminists/ women. This has nothing to do with bettering ourselves as women. This kind of low hanging fruit content clutters up the feed.

I’m Canadian and we don’t have the same gun culture Americans do, although we do own guns and many of us hunt. I do understand where you’re coming from and I agree with you politically HOWEVER - this doesn’t need to be a dealbreaker. You have the same values and this is a very small divergence of opinion. Like previous posters have said -it sounds like he is a mature and responsible gun owner. There will be other things you don’t share exactly the same opinion on and that’s normal and to be expe…

I wasn’t the only one. He cheated multiple times with multiple women. There is always a risk of your partner cheating. When your partner is a sex addict that risk is extremely high.

Total obliteration of my trust, my loss of respect for him, the end of our marriage, the end of our parenting unit and exposure to disease. My once-manageable depression and anxiety have skyrocketed. I can’t stress enough how bad things are now despite both of us trying to fix it. I would rather die a lonely old lady than love a sex addict. I gave him many chances but he’s too broken. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn’t dream of being with a sex addict.

About to divorce a sex addict myself and there is no way I would be willing to go down that road again. Never ever ever. It’s great that he’s working on his issues and I give him credit for that but the risk of relapse is really high and the consequences are devastating.
