I saw a video a bit like this the other day by some PUA guy, but the conclusion was basically 'go over and approach, and then just be yourself and don't worry about 'game'. But then, isn't that what everyone done in the first place, and what lead them to 'game' due to it never working??!

For nearly 3 whole years I had a job I really liked that paid well, and gave me a decent amount of spar time. I felt happy when I woke up and was happy with where I was in life. I worked out after work 5 nights per week. I felt confident and didn't have much anxiety etc and was in a good state of mind. I didn't get laid once, though. Still awkward around girls and didn't know how to charm them/what to say/what to do etc.

I can see this being dangerous for some people! I can kind of imagine someone reading this, and then seeing a hot girl walking down the street, and then: PUA: Hi. Stop a second. I think you're cute! GIRL: Oh!!! Errrr. ok. Thanks (And then he stands there. Can't really think of anything to say, but since he's OK with the silence he just stands there, hoping that if there's chemistry, she'll take up the slack) GIRL: it was nice meeting you! walks away very fast

Dont you have hobbies? Football, playing piano and guitar Dont you have a job that you are passionate about? I've always just worked in warehouses. I wasn't good in school despite my best efforts and so the 'work' side of things is just unskilled manual labour. But I tihnk most guys work to live as opposed to live to work? A pet that you love to death? Yep. I have an awesome dog!! When I talk of my goals. My reason. What I want from life. Girls fall into my arms. Really? i've never known what th…

Become self aware enough to recognize what is working and what is not. What if nothing appears to be working? :) I only tend to game in the sorts of bars you mention in the OP, so I at least realise that I can't go around trying to chat up every girl in there, as others will notice, and I don't use routines, but I still just get rejected each time. (I'm in good shape and work out lots, but i'm short and my face isn't 'handsome') The girls tend to give me one-word-answers and it's hard to carry a…

I'm very jealous of the action you must get!! :) You have any 'date infields' from start to finish? I imagine my own dates looking like a job interview.

You think ones confidence with women would somehow get loads better if someone went skydiving twice per week where they would usually play battlefield for example?

true. I think since things like tinder are taking over, cold approaching a girl makes you look even more weird in their eyes!

Fair enough. It's just that in my head there s big difference between approaching a stranger and gaming her, and matching with a girl on tinder who invites you straight too her place. Sex is kind of already on the table in the second instance. But either way, good for him! I'd be doing that non stop and forgetting about approaching if I got tinder matches, so certainly don't blame him!

Of course he shouldn't get slack! That really isn't what I meant. I would just have expected that sort of post/story to get the odd ''nice'' comment and maybe like 3 upvotes as opposed to looking like 'sticky' material based on the votes :)

I love FR's too, but as much as I like to hear about people getting laid, I don't understand why this has been such a popular post! It's a tinder bang with an easy girl who wanted to get banged that night. This is what my good looking friends do like twice per week! I don't think there was much in the way or 'game' or anything we can learn from this FR? (obviously usually field reports are usually cold approaches) I hope that doesn't sound too bitter! I'm really not. Just a bit shocked by the ma…

Nice. Tinder is really the only way people get laid nowadays. I think a big part of it is that she can be a slut without any of her friends/people she knows, knowing about it. Like, chatting to a guy at a bar and then kissing him and then going home with him is bad for her image, but matching with some guy in private and then inviting him round to bum her is something that she can keep a secret if she wants too

Nah, not being good looking is actually about bone structure. (I already have style and a 6 pack) I am saving to have a rhinopoasty and possibly facial implants depending on cost.

Not entirely sure I believe this, but then, I actually told some whopping lies about my job to help me get laid once, so maybe I should be more trusting!

And that is confidence and belief that you will be with that girl Yeah, I know what you mean. It's tough. I actually read recently that 'confidence' pretty much comes from sleeping with lots of girls, or basically being aware that you are very good looking. It just gives you confidence when it comes to girls. But if you aren't great looking, and you've never had much success with girls, it's really very hard indeed to 'get the ball rolling' as it were! I'm not a virgin, but i'm so far behind eve…

Like I said in the OP, I will ask him when I next see him. Just I don't want too appear like too much of a loser as he is under the false impression that I do OK with girls! But I will ask him some questions when I see him next. Just wanted others opinions and general thoughts

Less confident ones would take certain negative comments as a sign that you don't like them. So you're saying not to neg less confident girls? Or is it good if they think you don't like them because it makes them chase?

I live in the UK Haha! Well now that makes more sense! Honestly man, it's a different game in some respects over here, although Lots of the forum refuse to believe it. No matter how good your game, a fairly large number of girls are gonna be way more 'weirded out' than American girls when it comes to cold approach.
/r/seduction11/10/16 05:47 PM

Are you in the US? I thought the 'who the hell are you and what do you want?!' thing was mainly reserved for British girls :) Americans always seemed super open and friendly when I was there, but maybe that was just the accent! PS - Is there anywhere else nearer to the UK where teh accent can give one a small advantage? Traveling to the US to try to milk the accent is way too far away and expensive!

how does CBT allow you to stop anxiety distracting you from using the social skills? Is there a specific technique?

im sure even real "puas" will agree cold approaching is by and large extremely fruitless Yeah, maybe tinder is my best bet. you reek of desperation. you need to be fun. I actually find in hindsight that I come across as more desperate when I try to be fun! An apparently successful pua on another site told me he tends to be 'boring' in his interactions with girls! Not sure which route to take. I'm thinking about maybe just forgetting about approaching girls for a few months to be honest. They say…

Next week? This guy comes off like an unhelpful braggart To be fair, I only really see him every Saturday night as a drinking buddy, so It wasn't really a weird thing to say in my mind That's kinda dick. This guy is a "friend?" In fact, all these guys..... I'd question their worth. All they're going to do is just sit back and kinda give you shit. Then send naked pics? I'd be over it. Friends help each other get better. Not this crap. I see what you mean, but he sent the pic to all of us. Obvious…

Then Tinder won't help you (if you have no game) I'm not sure about that!? I have friend who just wait for the 'yes' girls on tinder, and literally arrange to have sex at their house, and there's just no speaking or game required. Almost like a free prostitute! In fact, even in this thread, the XXL talks about his friend who has no game and can't hold a conversation with girls/flirt etc, but gets laid lots on tinder. Maybe it's an 'age' thing, but it does happen like that - maybe more so for you…

I don't really believe the thing about them coming when you don't try/stop looking. I spent years and years never approaching and literally not trying at ALL! Getting laid was the last thing on my mind. I just wanted to have a laugh with my friend and went out a lot. I got NO NOTCHES! Then I decided to start approaching girls. I got laid almost straight away (beginners luck), but nothing since then in like a year. I guess the answer is kind of to 'try' (as in you need too approach?) but to appea…

I'd like to believe that's true, but i'm not sure I entirely buy it. If they were so impressed when someone cold approaches, why are there so many harsh rejections? ''Go away1 not interested!!'' sort of stuff. If they respected you and were impressed by your courage, that doesn't seem like a natural reaction. I'm not even sure most girls realise the balls it takes to approach and that most guys struggle with it. They probably assume that the guy messaging her on tinder would be just as forward i…

But if I can just name fruits or whatever without any negative comback since it doesn't matter waht you say, I guess my head won't go blank anymore since I can always think of something like that. How to get relaxed, though? Just more and more approaches?
/r/seduction06/10/16 01:57 PM

Apparently What you say doesn't matter (it's how you say it), so there is literally no excuse for running out of things to say!
/r/seduction06/10/16 01:53 PM

hopefully it's true then, because that means that the next time my head goes blank after a conversation thread has ended or something, I can just start naming fruits in a way that gets her hot. Like ''Apple'' said really slow and deep with deep eye contact. ''oranges''. I could do it literally everytime my head goes blank! :)

when he says ''if you're a guy in his 20's and you're not having lots of sex, something is wrong'' that felt like a gut punch! It literally hurt, lol. I guess the truth always hurts. Having said that, most people I know who get laid, get laid almost exclusively through tinder, and I don't get any matches, so not much more I can do on that particular front! I do cold approach girls, though - so at least i'm trying

thanks. Yeah, I imagine that lines you come up with yourself will stick in your head easier and will be more readily available in interactions than something someone else says
/r/seduction05/10/16 06:03 PM

I was thinking earlier about 'practice' and 'learning'. Everyone always says that it's all about practice, but since each interaction is different (different person, different venue maybe, different situation etc) a lot of the time, particularly if you are fairly new to it all, each situation is essentially 'new' and so you have no reference experience and so all of your practice means nothing! What I mean is that, the other night I gave some random girl a piggy back. Whilst this was happening, …

with concepts like push/pull, teasing etc, is it normal to kind of have to remind oneself to do it?! Especially if you are fairly new to 'game'. In some of my approaches so far, I'll realise that I didn't do certain things in the interaction in hindsight. I didn't use push/pull her for example. But then, thinking about all of this stuff during an interaction (''I'm supposed to be teasing her I think - shit, what should I tease her about, and how best to say it?'' etc) can give you a kind of para…

thanks. I'm a bit lost on 'fun remarks' - especially so soon after meeting someone. What sort of remarks do you mean? And yeah, I might try to work some stories in in the future about wherever it is she tells me she's going that night - maybe even a pretend story that's funny See if it helps me at all

Talk about your own interests. If you like music e.g. tell her about Beethoven I get that, but I think it would be odd to talk about that stuff after saying ''Hi, what's up?'' kind of thing (opening). Feels way too soon?! "what is your drink" / "what is your job" are boring and overused. Aren't we supposed to show interest in the other person, though? It seems as though almost everything is a 'taboo' subject, since it's either boring or overused or too personal or too much like an interview etc.…
