I don't think they'll ban us, unless they completely throw justification out the window (which, granted, they've done before). I mean, they're letting coontown stay... so if they can be here, and we can't, then I'm done with reddit anyway.

"Your reality is what you make it, and frame is how you control it." I want that on a poster somewhere. Well said.

If you feel like you're having to jump through hoops to get a girl's attention on Tinder, then she wasn't worth the effort anyway. Seriously. There's no magic joke or corny line that's gonna make her want to date you. If you think of something witty and fun, say it. If you can't, just have a normal conversation. If she declines your advances, that's her loss. Next. EDIT: and yeah, liking her posts on social media won't win you any awards. At best it's neutral, at worst you're just another orbite…

It's also important to think about the psychology going on in Chad's mind. He's confident because he knows himself, he knows his strengths and weaknesses, and he's totally okay with it. It's easy for him to be "okay with himself" because he's an attractive 6'2'' quarterback. But the point stands. He knows he's awesome, and other people can sense that positive energy. If you're a skinny, 5'7'' nerd, you can either whine about how life is unfair and beg women for their attention, or you can become…

I don't think so. She seems somewhat aware that affirmative-consent laws are useless - I think she wrote it that way to point out how confusing their definitions of "consent" are.

The quote also says that even though evil people exist, they're still people so treat them accordingly. Just don't expect them to be good. It's a pretty down-to-earth way of looking at things.

I started Monk Mode about a month ago because I had gotten to the point where watching porn and jerking it was the highlight of every day. I realized how sad and counter-productive that is, so I stopped. I've only relapsed a few times since then, and overall I feel much more satisfied in life. Even when monk mode is done and I start pursuing women again, I'm gonna continue to not watch porn. Life is so much healthier without it.

The harsh reality that betas never see is that sluts never fuck down. ... "Fight the patriarchy and you'll get laid!!!" Holy shit, I never realized this is part of the product they're selling. I know betas think that being nice and agreeable to women is the best way to get laid, but it's more than that. To a beta, "sex-positive feminism" means "more women will want to fuck me." But that never happens. "Sex positive feminism" = more sluts for the Chad T.'s of the world to work through... while th…

A lot of these themes remind me of Jack Donovan's book, "The Way of Men." Highly recommend it for anyone who's interested in how the tribal origins of humanity, and the male vs. female imperatives, play a role in modern society.

I can't believe so many people upvoted this. Think about what you're saying. What would be the sides? White vs. Black? If it didn't happen during the civil rights movement it certainly won't happen now. The government vs. the people? Most people are employed and are happy enough not to take up arms. The "society will collapse any day now" circlejerk has been going on for generations.

Is it acceptable to glance at their ass Who the fuck cares? Be cool, don't stare like a crazy person, but glance at it if you want to. Don't waste your time worrying about other people. Also, some people have reported having success picking up chicks in the gym, but frankly I think it's a waste of time. You should be focusing on your workout too much to be worrying about approach.

Having formerly been a beta worshipping at the feet of hot chicks, it feels good to finally be the one in a position of power. However, I find it's best not to burn bridges. If a girl is being flaky or boring I just ignore her. A verbal shutdown is a temporary power trip, but it's usually unnecessary and could come back to bite you in the ass if you two had any mutual contacts. You also showed that you care by giving a dramatic response. When you truly don't give a fuck, there will be no need fo…

Good work man. Question: you said you were able to just sit back and blend in. Did you try joining in with conversations around you, or did you just lean back with a drink and observe the whole time? I ask because I'm in a new city and I haven't met anyone my age who I can hit up clubs with. (Most of my coworkers are older or too nerdy). So I'm wondering what your lone wolf approach is like.

You're right, and the unfortunate epilogue to my story is that she didn't stay a plate for very long - I'm just confused that her initial reaction was "gonna swallow this guy's cum now" but her long term reaction was to discontinue interest. I guess at the time it's what she thought she wanted, but then she lost the tingles after a while. Classic female thought process. This sorta turned into a ramble but I think it makes sense.

Are you sleeping 5 hours a night at most? More? Then you're wasting time. I was with you until this point. Good luck trying to build muscle and learn shit when you're constantly tired. Prioritizing sleep does not make you a beta - having mental and physical energy is crucial, and getting a full 8 hours is the easiest way to ensure that.

She wins her silly game if you comfort her, or tell her she's important, or validate any one of her feelings. Interesting that you say that. I had an instance in which feeding the hamster actually helped (though I didn't tell her she was "important" so I didn't go full beta). It was the morning after a ONS. We woke up, I had major morning wood so I started to initiate again before we even got to talking. Cue instant LMR: she got the pangs of regret and said "Wait... I don't know about this...", …

Kipnis was not allowed to have an attorney present during her interview with Title IX investigators, she writes, but she was allowed to bring along another faculty member as a "support person" provided that the person she brought did not speak. That support person later discussed Kipnis' situation at a "Faculty Senate" meeting—and has subsequently been accused of, yes, committing a Title IX violation. This really reads like an Onion article... the truth is stranger than fiction.

Feminism came in and made everything a personal attack Interestingly enough, "everything's a personal attack" extends beyond feminism. That's just how women operate by default. Then when they make being female their academic profession, we have our modern state of affairs where it's "she said this and now I feel bad," ad infinitum.

Brilliant. This is why new RP'ers who are up in arms about feminist media need to take a step back and look at what's really going on. The alphas still run shit way at the top - and they know what the average overweight woman who reads People magazine wants to hear. Sale made.

It doesn't sound like you're on monk mode. Monk mode is when you swear off vices like sex and partying to focus only on self-improvement like working out and studying. You seem to think "monk mode" means "not in an LTR." Regardless, you've been able to sustain the self-improvement while also pursuing sex and socialization on the side. Sounds like there's no reason to change what you're doing - you're doing TRP the right way. Keep it up.

"Exceptions to the rule" is just a bullshit way of saying "I don't know, so I'll pretend your point is irrelevant." I'm asking because I wonder why some blue societies still legalize prostitution, despite the argument that it lowers the advantage of pussy. See Australia as well.

I don't think they are necessarily being white knights as a strategy for sex As a former White Knight, I can tell you that they do want sex. They think being nice to girls will get girls to like them, and date them eventually. It's approval-seeking behavior, but repeated lack of results doesn't usually deter them.

Chicks are so preoccupied about looking perfect at prom; they spend literally the entire day preparing themselves. I think trying to bang before the dance would be pointless, better to wait until she's feeling good from a fun night than when she's stressed and anxious during the day.
/r/askTRP07/05/15 02:08 AM

As others have said, "prom night" isn't a big deal. Just have fun. Don't be afraid to escalate. She probably knows exactly what you want to do by ending the night at the beach, but she won't initiate it herself, so go for it. If she's not down to go all the way it's not a big deal, but you won't know until you escalate to that point.

Introverted =/= antisocial. That's a big misconception people have. Introverted simply means that you draw energy from being alone, whereas extroverted people draw energy from being in a social setting. It doesn't mean introverts are socially inept, or that you can't succeed in a group situation. Don't think of it as a performance, just try to follow the flow of conversation and jump in when it feels appropriate. Text game was definitely my undoing with the girl I banged most recently. Classic chump move: she started drunkenly texting me one night so I figured, "well, she's being really quick to reply, that means I can too!" Two days later she blew me off on our plans to get lunch. Now it's been 3 weeks of sporadic snapchats and no real contact. Shucks.

Like many former betas (including myself), you're probably dependent on female validation to feel good about yourself. You see sex as the ultimate form of validation: "women want me, therefore I'm worth something." It's very important to move past this type of thinking, even if you weren't consciously aware of it before. What's helped for me is focusing on my "inner game." I say positive self-affirmations to purposely reinforce my own ego, so that I feel good about myself with or without women i…

All men are programmed to want sex, but not all men are programmed to feel shitty about themselves if women aren't giving them attention. There's a very clear distinction. OP, like a lot of former betas (including myself), is dependent on female validation for his self-worth. A huge part of the red pill journey is moving past that.

I would tell her straight-up that you're getting the surgery. Don't psychoanalyze yourself by telling her how horrible you've felt all these years, just tell her it's a good idea and you're gonna do it. Deflect shit tests about the bra thing in the same way you have been, and you'll be fine. I know it's easy for me to say, but there's no reason to be insecure about it. Yeah it's gonna suck, but you're going through something to improve yourself so there's no reason to feel bad about it.

Sounds like you're hooked on female validation. You achieved what you previously couldn't - you have high SMV now, and you're afraid of losing the female attention that it comes with. Consider this: if you keep working out with this injury, you might do so much damage to yourself that you'll never be able to lift as heavy again. Also realize that taking two weeks off will not cause all of your muscle to fall off. You'll have to de-load when you start lifting again, but you can make the progress …

The feminist argument wants men to retain their traditional responsibilities and accept that women will not..... it's hypocritical and manipulative. ... i would ask the young men who would be "alpha" to examine their motivations critically and act with purpose, not simply be inverse parodies of the feminists themselves. You should have put this comment as your original reply. This is actually well thought-out and was worth my time to read. Overall I think this is another one of those examples of the inherently subjective nature of "alpha" and how different people see it, as well as masculinity itself. It's interesting to consider your "successful men in successful societies" example, and I'd say there's certainly some truth to that. But I'm not so quick to write off Donovan's more primitive definition, nor am I…

No, you're imposing your own cultural values onto what you think masculinity is. It's much simpler than that. Read "The Way Of Men" by Jack Donovan and you'll start to get an idea. The primitive gang lifestyle is masculinity. The "leadership and creating" part that you mentioned is just a productive application of that in a modern setting, but it's not the only way. To quote Rollo, "Alpha is as alpha does." It's not as easy to define as you'd like to think. Btw, opening up with "You cucks..." is…

In some ways I agree, but I think modern Japan is actually a better indicator of where America is heading. You see, Black America is hyper-masculine. High-status alpha males have lots of money, guns, and gangs of lesser (but still tough) men to defend them and be in their "crew." They say all sorts of derogatory shit about women and nobody bats an eye, least of all the scores of women that they fuck on a regular basis. Do you think feminism would ever allow that to happen to White America? Femin…

I've noticed that if you depend on success with women to determine the quality of your night, you've already lost. Tell yourself, "I'm going to have a fun night whether I take a girl home or not." If you're only worried about the end result, you'll miss the opportunity to just have fun, and more importantly be fun.
/r/askTRP19/04/15 10:49 PM

You're absolutely right. Truly being alpha means you'll have safer sexual interactions, because you can understand women's behavior and know how to react accordingly, whereas a beta will just become desperate and try to force it (especially in an LMR situation).

There's a great post on the RP front page right now about how blue-pill friends will turn on you for the slightest chance at female validation. It's pretty fucked, but very important to keep in mind.

It's all about what you have to offer, not how much you LOVE women. That's a very good point. Thanks for the reminder. Just look at rappers - they say blatantly sexist things on a public scale, but women worship them because of their status and sheer confidence.

But seriously, this is something I've been wondering about lately so I'm glad you brought it up. I would love to have kids, and I think doing so with a live -in girlfriend would be ideal, but I don't know too many women who aren't hooked on the "marriage, house and kids" model. Also, if a live-in girlfriend were to get pregnant, would she…

You're right that gang banging isn't an ideal lifestyle for most of us, but remember one of Rollo's main rules: Alpha is as Alpha does. The CEO of a company is just as alpha as the leader of a gang. Same mindset, different application. One of them is a better long-term option, but that's not part of the definition.

Your mentality is step two. Think of yourself as a total pimp, a boss, a player, whatever you want. You're equal to, or above, everyone else in the room. Your ego is through the roof. You're being very formulaic about it. That's okay - it's the first step. To directly answer your question, yes, as long as you maintain frame and agree and amplify, pressure flip, etc, you'll be okay. The more important thing is your own "inner game." Maintaining frame means having a positive self-image and powerful ego, so when people joke around and bust your balls (shit test you), you don't get worked up and insecure. You just respond in kind and have a good laugh.
/r/askTRP04/04/15 07:59 PM
4

Yes. The Shit Test Encyclopedia has a section about that, I'm pretty sure. When guys do it to each other, it's referred to as "busting your balls" or something along those lines. It serves the same purpose of socially "testing" people out to see how they respond.

Attitude comes first. Results come later. Your sense of self-worth is independent of how much pussy you get, how many friends you have, how much money you make. You're a boss as soon as you decide to be. Once you start thinking of yourself as a winner, the nice side effects, like pussy, will come as a natural extension of your new attitude. But the attitude is first.

At least you didn't argue with him. I would avoid having friends who get worked up over insignificant shit like that. Others have come up with some good examples of responses in that situation, so I won't repeat them. I'll add this: I've found that almost any response is acceptable in a shit test situation, as long as you say it with supreme confidence/cockiness. The whole point is that what she said shouldn't faze you, because your ego is so bulletproof that nothing she throws your way can make a dent.

Despite your improvements, you still have negative thought patterns that are holding you back. That's okay - it happens to everyone. Take a step back, identify your negative thoughts, and de-fuse them. You don't have to be angry. You don't have to be frustrated. You have better goals in life than pussy. Stay positive, aloof, and have fun with women when you interact with them, and don't view every potential lay as a failure if it doesn't work out. When you tie your happiness to your success with…

Of course. OP isn't saying to ignore your natural urges for sex, he's saying if you let that urge be your #1 priority it will be counter-productive.

Yes, absolutely. You have to maintain the red pill mindset in an LTR. There are plenty of posts in the main sub about how to apply it to that situation.

Good luck with that mentality. Being a virgin doesn't change shit. If you act desperate and needy when it comes to sex, you'll still be a virgin years from now.

A White Knight is someone who legitimately supports feminist ideals in an effort to side with women and "defend them" from misogyny, as I'm sure you know. A "Black Knight" in this case just means a redpiller who pretends to support feminism in conversation, to subtly point out how ridiculous it is. It's like being really, really sarcastic to the point where legitimate feminists might think you're being serious. Promoting feminist ideals so much that the absurdity becomes apparent.

Being skinny isn't "shitty," I know skinny guys who can pull. When I say shitty, I mean blatantly overweight. No matter how you rationalize the effectiveness of good game, physical fitness is obviously still an aspect of SMV that factors into attraction heavily.

That's why I said as a general rule, it's bullshit, but I'm sure there are examples of the opposite being true. It's the difference between "most of the time, this happens" and "once in a blue moon, this happens."

People with shitty bodies who don't give a fuck...get more ass than you. Gonna have to disagree with you there, if you're stating that as a general rule. If you mean "there is someone, somewhere in the world," who has a shitty body and no ambition but still gets ass, you're probably right.

You're absolutely right. A little knowledge of female body language can make the difference between seeing an opportunity to approach and missing a woman's signals that she's into you. The game "cheat sheet" that someone posted a while back has helped me immensely (on mobile so can't link). IOI's, escalation, isolation, it's all helpful to know about. PUA's frame it in the wrong way but combined with TRP it's powerful. Step one is be confident. Step two is know how to play. One without the other…

It might be a pot issue; but your doctor will know better than we do. If you're convinced it's the pot, stop smoking pot. Try again after a week or two when the pot has cleared from your system. If it's still a problem, definitely see a doctor. EDIT: saw in another comment that you have no problem during porn. Quit watching porn too, and just relax and have fun when you're having sex. Getting nervous or worried can cause you to go soft.

I can tell that my plates and women in general need some form of an emotional bond if they are willing to have sex That's what it comes down to. Women are more likely to attach emotion to the act, whereas men can separate the physical and emotional aspects more easily.

Point of order: why is this tagged as "red pill theory?" What does this have to do with sexual strategy? This is a "rant/venting" post at best; at worst it's a shit post that reminds me why I don't read this sub much anymore.

You aren't alpha if you're selfish You must be new here. There is no morality when it comes to sexual strategy (it's sidebar material, for god's sake). Huge assholes can be the biggest alphas around. Or, alphas can be honorable and give their friends help. Being a "good friend" vs. "just some asshole" has nothing to do with it. Rollo put it best: Alpha is as Alpha does.

Should I just approach a girl who is with her friend if im by myself? I've also had approach anxiety with groups of women lately. The thing is, though, it's pointless to be afraid no matter how many women there are. Remember: you're the prize, not them. You're screening them to see if they're worthy of your attention. If not, next.

I've had the same problem as you - the cause, deep down, is that you depend on women for approval. You base your self-worth on whether girls like you or not. I know, because I've been there. I recommend joining a student organization with a strong social presence - like a fraternity, sports team, band or theater. Anything that's officially organized so you can become a valued member and are automatically included. One of the great realizations you'll have with TRP is when you finally don't care about "missing out." When you learn to value yourself and your time, you'll not only stop caring about being included as much, but others will paradoxically start to include you more. Still, …

I'm well aware that trying to be a PUA "say-this-to-get-laid" robot is a useless endeavor. But I'm the kind of guy who learns by observation and example. I suppose that only goes so far though; I know it's the mindset that's more important than specific actions.

You're right on all points. It's strange how powerful my old beta tendencies are - it's like being at a party shuts down my rational thoughts and all that's left is the approval-seeking, ho-pedestalizing thoughts I used to have all the time. I appreciate the advice.

If my friend is perceiving me as a cocky asshole, other people will too Ask yourself - why is that a problem? I'm serious. As long as you're being yourself and not hurting anyone, nobody's approval matters except your own. my best friend told me that recently I've been coming off as a fucking cocky douchebag Cocky is good. As long as you don't cross the line into complete douchebag territory there's nothing wrong with overtly showing your confidence. Your friend means well, but he's saying that because the "new you" is different that what he expects, and subconsciously he doesn't like that. Give it time. Be whoever you want to be, and your friends will get used to it after a while (or you'll find new friends).

You need to read the sidebar of /r/TheRedPill; it will start to make more sense as you do more reading. I'll do my best to summarize: Women are attracted to "alpha males." They like guys who are strong, confident and assertive. That means they don't do whatever a woman says, they respond well to shit tests, they aren't afraid of rejection or going after what they want. Orange is the New Black comes to mind. Watched it with my now-ex LTR when the second season came out. There's a scene where a post-wall woman explains AF/BB in pretty plain terms. She used to fuck a powerful guy who "scared" her a little bit, but she loved it. Now she's with a "nice" husband and the sex is "alright, but not like it used to be."
/r/askTRP21/02/15 08:12 PM

No individual person is ever going to be perfectly fit your definition of an "asshole." Seems like that guy has a few traits that make him an asshole, but other traits that don't. It's not some big mystery.

One of those, hm? Rappers are some of the smartest people in the music industry, and if you don't realize that you're being willfully ignorant. You think Jay Z, Dr. Dre or Lil Wayne got filthy rich by being idiots? You couldn't be more wrong. They know exactly what they're doing.

Does your profile publicly display that you're "single" because you haven't changed it? Or is your relationship status in general set to "private" so nobody can see what it is? If it's not the second option yet, do that. Don't publicly say you're single, just have it say nothing. If she still gets upset with that, I think she should just live with it.

Others have pointed out that you take insults too seriously because you "value their opinion." I'll add to this since I've experienced exactly what you're talking about. You perceive yourself as "below" other people. You don't think of yourself as a cool person; you think others are better than you. You look at an athletic guy and think "wow, he's so good at sports, I'll never be as good as him." Or you see someone being smart and think "I'm dumb compared to that guy." You need to identify these…

You say "only our actions bring about change" then advise OP not to act. Arguing with his millenial, feminized classmates is not "taking action." In fact, it's the opposite; it will make them lose respect for him. Action is living his life according to RP principles without preaching it - that way people will think it's just "how he is" and they'll end up liking him for it.

Evil is initiating force against another person. Good is not initiating force against another person. Did you know that before Christianity, that was entirely false? Pagan societies, specifically in Europe, had moral codes based on "honor vs. shame" instead of "good vs. evil." Force against another person was morally just, for example, if they gravely insulted you. Murder was legal, and morally acceptable, in certain situations. Then moral codes shifted with the rise of Christianity, and we have…

Good points overall. To relate this back to TRP, you could point out the similarities between the "anger phase" of trp and the "two minutes of hate" idea. Moving past the anger phase involves resisting the urge to be blindly angry at the world, and learning to accept reality so you can see why people act the way they do.

Could be that you're getting into your own head about it, making yourself nervous, and that prevents you from enjoying the act enough to finish. That's not an easy issue to fix but apply TRP's rules about overcoming insecurity and being comfortable with yourself, and that should help. Or it could be porn as others have suggested. Stop watching porn and see if that helps. And don't grip as hard when you jack off (too strong a grip can reduce sensitivity).

A woman gets drunk and makes a poor decision to sleep with a low SMV male then regrets it when's she's sober, that's rape. If at all the guy is hawt, that nullifies all the above of course.
