I really don’t see how she is comparable to a typical male serial killer. Obviously murder is never okay, but she was defending herself against people actively trying to harm/exploit her. Male serial killers typically lure innocent victims, gain their trust, then rape/murder them. It seems like there is a higher expectation of morality for women, so when they do murder it’s seen as more of an aberration. Whereas with men, it’s so common that it’s expected on some level.

Oh yeah, I’m just getting to the acceptance phase of grieving a friendship. It’s been hard. I do recommend reading about the stages of grief because a friendship ending can feel like a huge loss! My pickme friend is moving to a totally different region/city, so I’ve come to terms with that we probably won’t see each other again. The pandemic has really accelerated some relationships and has made people believe they are closer to their SO than they are.

Roxanne Luckey (his sister in law) has posted about what a creep he is, how he once tried to set her up (at age 19) to one of his old divorced friends and then gaslit her about it when she wasn’t into it. Imagine being such a pickme that you’re willing to overlook your bf trying to pimp out your little sister to his friends (and then marrying him)… I hate these people so much

Did you even look at the link? It’s mostly links to ways to donate to humanitarian visas and the evacuation of afghan women. There’s literally no mention of military action. “Advocate for US Government Action” is not military action. Here, I’ll copy and paste it for you: Charter direct evacuation flights to the United States for Afghan women activists most imminently under threat. If he had a relationship with a woman he would have just killed her too. The people implying if women had just been nicer to him or if he had a gf this wouldn’t have happened make me sick. This man had a black hole inside him and was always going to murder, he is responsible and no one else.

I think this is a solid strategy. Can a man raised by a single mother be high value? Totally, if he’s worked on himself and found positive surrogate father figure(s). Most men simply don’t work on themselves though so it’s unlikely he’ll be high value.

I actually feel positive about the future and think things are headed on the up and up! The concept of FDS is still super new, but look how much this community has grown in the past year. The ideas are catching on, both younger and older generations are wising up, keeping their standards high, and slowly realizing what a clusterfuck liberal feminism is. At this point you have to assume most pickme’s don’t know any better and will come around, lots of women here used to be pickme’s (myself includ…

Intimate relationships are normal and healthy. To desire a meaningful connection with someone is normal and healthy. Sometimes I think people participate in the type of cognitive dissonance in OP’s post because they think not putting a label on things will prevent them from getting hurt somehow, but it doesn’t work like that. Not only will they get hurt anyway, they’ll feel bad about getting hurt because the relationship was never “legitimate” to begin with…

I feel like it’s a tactic to just break down women even more so we’ll accept subpar treatment; “I must be treated so poorly because I deserve it, after all I am what I attract, etc”. Abusers are attracted to everyone, they stay with vulnerable people they can control. The mental hoops people jump through to not acknowledge the selfish nature of the majority of men must be exhausting.

Check out the botched plastic surgery sub for examples of what can go wrong with filler… I know it’s just a subtle change for most people that get it, but it’s such a new procedure that no one really knows what happens long term. Lots of people are discovering it never really “dissolves” like it’s said to, it just migrates around your face as time passes. If you get too much, you get that puffy “overfilled” face that so many aging influencers have now. What’s even sadder is to see young girls in…

I agree with this. If he’s wishywashy during the planning stage, he’ll probably be wishywashy when it’s time to settle up. Conversely, a guy that’s pursuing you with intention will be excited to take you out; he’ll know which place he wants to go, or he’ll be into the place you suggest.

Women have socially evolved with the times with taking on traditionally “male” responsibilities, but men have not done the equivalent and even though men are doing more than their forebears women are still doing most of the labor. Like it says in the handbook, most straight men are simply not suitable for a relationship. The population decline is men’s failure, not ours as so many women would be more than happy to start a family but men turn it into fucking punishment so it’s just not worth it f…

They can never see how the root problem is other men. There was a post recently about some guy noticing women moving away from him at the gym and going out of their way to not be physically near him in bars, cafes, etc. And all the comments were men complaining about “being lumped in with other guys” and how it’s “unfair”.

The narrative of the struggling couple is always played out more sympathetically then the woman actually going through the damn thing. Just like with porn and prostitution, women’s bodies are collateral for someone else’s agenda
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/07/21 03:21 PM
25

I AGREE. We encourage people to accept their limitations everywhere else, I think it’s time people who can’t have kids simply accept it. There are 7+ billion humans already. Take the fortune you were going to spend on finding a surrogate and donate it to a local daycare center or charity that helps struggling mothers. Volunteer and mentor young children and teens. People will never do this though because they need their picture perfect family
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/07/21 03:19 PM

This is all so well said. I’m also ok with family members being surrogates for each other because you’re going to presumably be in that baby’s life after giving birth and not simply paid and sent on your way.

/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/07/21 03:56 AM

Yeah I know it’s bound to piss some people off but it’s worth discussing. And there’s no other place on the inter webs I’d rather discuss it. :) Like we’re all fine with blaming men for exploiting women’s bodies in porn and “sex work”, but what about when women pay to exploit other women for their fertility? It’s complicated but it exists under the same umbrella of exploitation and you’re still buying a woman’s body.

What if you acted like it’s a rhetorical question and just didn’t answer? Like you don’t have to be rude or anything, but sometimes if someone asks me an invasive question I just kind of smile and wait for them to change the subject. As women we’re conditioned to resolve tension when it arises and quickly answering a rude question is part of that. But you don’t actually have to answer.

Ugh I hate how true this is. Was carrying groceries home and thinking about stuff I had to do and some guy walking adjacently was like “You don’t have to look so scared, I’m a nice guy”. It confused me so much that I actually said “WTF” out loud. And he was like, “Seemed like I was making you nervous!” And I said “I didn’t even see you”. He just looked confused and wandered off. They really do think we’re just literally waiting for them at all times.

Oh I definitely won’t say anything to her about it. She’s super headstrong and if I voiced my real opinion she would double down. I did ask some questions to see how much she’s thought it through (where will you go when you need space from him? What will happen if it doesn’t work out and he doesn’t want you there? What other reason do you have to move there? Do you have emergency money? Etc). Her general attitude is that “you only live once” and she’s happy so… that’s it I guess. I simply won’t …

I would start mentally preparing for this friend not being in your life anymore. You really just are going to have to let her live her life. She knows she’s left you behind but still puts her new bf first. Thank you, this feels so bleak but this is the tough advice I need right now. She has demonstrated where in her life she sees our friendship and I clearly valued it more than her. And it really sucks to know that.

Don’t forget Elon Musk and Grimes. She was 30 and he was 46 when they started dating (17 yr difference). It’s pretty funny how every pic of them looks like a goofy dad with his teenage daughter. Their relationship makes me sad though because she’s publicly defended him so many times and gets blasted for it, and I don’t know if he’s ever acknowledged her publically really? Like I know they’re together and have a baby, but it doesn’t seem like he’s particularly excited about her.

Don’t forget the zoomed in dead eyed serial killer stare Oh yeah and when I was in apps I saw one pic of this guy taking a selfie in a dirty public bathroom and you could see all the grime and trash on the floor, and another man was actually coming out of one of the stalls in the background and was looking right into the camera at that second. Like really, you thought this pic would be good? I used to screenshot them and send them to my friends

Just because a question is asked doesn’t mean it deserves an answer. Also, “Why are you asking?” is a perfectly reasonable response to an invasive question and is a good way of letting the asker know they’re being rude.

Hmm… you should feel happy/excited to see them, and very attracted to them. But not in a “drug-like” way. There should be a feeling of safety, like you’re in good hands when you’re with him. You should be able to fully be yourself, and he should be able to fully be himself and it should feel playful and harmonious when you’re together.

A long term partnership is incompatible with infatuation. If you have wild chemistry with someone right off the bat, it doesn’t actually mean they’re good for you. Every time I’ve dated someone where there’s fireworks in the beginning it ends up blowing up in my face a few months later. Yet another reason it’s essential to vet ruthlessly for the first few months (and after, but especially the first few months).

Women that are in relationships with men that treat their reproductive system like a baby factory are unwell mentally. This woman needs rest, actual rest, so her body and mind can heal themselves after 3 back-to-back pregnancies. The amount of stories on Reddit from women who were abused, gaslit, humiliated, or threatened literally during birth or moments after birth is astounding. Men say women can’t handle the truth yet men are the ones that absolutely lose their minds if they are the ones cheated on. I mean, how many news articles have I read where a man murders his gf/wife and the man she had an affair with because he found out? How many men execute their whole family and/or go on a killing spree because their feelings were hurt? The only time I’ve seen menstruation depicted was in a scene in Handmaid’s Tale, but even then it was really tame, like a red splotch on white underwear shown for a second or two. Just once I’d like to see a scene where a woman wakes up in a small pool of her own blood because she forgot her period was due, and just getting up and getting on with the rest of her day. Or a scene where a woman gets her period during sex and accidentally bleeds all over the bed. That would be some fun realism.

All of this! There’s never been more self-help resources available than there is now, but none of that matters if someone can’t look in the mirror and see they’re part of the problem. Cutting off men like this is the only kind thing to do, for ourselves and for them.

If you are naturally the type to extend a helping hand it takes a lot of de-conditioning to stop yourself. Even now with male coworkers and such, I have to take a beat and remind myself to not get involved if I don’t need to be. Better to just keep my head down and focus on what I’m doing.

The pandemic has brought employment levels for women back to what it was in the 80s. If your partner doesn’t think your career is as important as his, he is planning on freeloading off your unpaid home labor that you’ll do instead of an actual job. Men always expect women to take one for the family and it’s unacceptable.

I posted about a tidal wave of scrotes coming. Anthropologically it’s all pretty interesting to me. As a species we’ve never had a pandemic while being this technologically advanced. We’ve all been in our own pods and some of us are emerging better for it but many men simply do not know how to be on their own and lost their minds. I really do think there will be a surge in dating and gender violence as society starts to open up more, the entitlement and desperation are real. For anyone that is c…

I have yet to see one of these articles address how men don’t really want to commit to women anymore. Lol I don’t want to go back to Neanderthal days, I just think it’s funny how so many of these men assume they’d be in a position of power? It bothers me how libfems use “empowerment” and “confidence” interchangeably. If it doesn’t actually give you power, it isn’t empowering. Example: wearing concealer to cover blemishes and dark circles isn’t empowering, but it can make you feel confident. Empowerment would be not spending your hard earned money on cosmetics, and letting your face look however it naturally looks. And then being confident anyway.

I never understood this logic either. Having a child with someone enmeshes your life with his and your family with his. Birthdays, holidays, vacations, funerals, and family functions will mean you’ll have to communicate with him on some level for at least 18 years, probably more. A marriage is reversible, children are not.

If you are involved with the Victim and want to escape his abuse, you may find that you feel guilty toward him, despite his treatment of you, and have difficulty ending the relationship as a result. No. Neurodiversity refers to the natural differences in people’s brains as they develop as children (or before they’re born). About 30-40% of the population is neurodiverse and many of those people are living happy lives and having healthy relationships, they just have to work a bit harder than others. Mental illnesses are patterns of behaviour where a person experiences a ‘state of mind’ that is different from their ‘normal self’. Obviously there can be overlapping, but there’s two different th…

Yes! I read about this. It has to do with the differences in how male and female children socialize with each other. It’s an interesting subject for sure. And yeah, I wondered if the dynamic in therapy triggered some sort of episode in him because he got so much more entitled and vindictive. But maybe that’s just who he was all along and the therapy just revealed it faster.

100%! Reading about all this made me realize how abysmal things are in the US. Women in countries with more socialized health care don't understand what a huge independent undertaking it is to be a mother in the US. There's no subsidized childcare, maternity leave is minimal unless you're lucky, there's really not much of any kind of safety net... if you don't have a strong support system you're literally on your own. Also men need to be educated about this as well. I honestly didn't even know about many if these things until I did a deep dive into google. So that guy basically thinks women are like demigods and can control if a fetus lives or dies? I mean, if a lot of conservative guys think this way it would explain why they're so obsessed with reproductive control

As with marriage, women are conditioned to want these things from a young age without any detailed information about what to prepare for.

Thank you for saying that. I don't wish for women to stop having babies, I wish for the whole process to be as safe and painless as possible. Pregnancy should be a stress free experience.

Yes this was my main intent for this post. Like, okay, maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones that doesn't experience most of these things but what if you aren't? If you want kids, it better be with someone who is kind, generous, and willing to support you through any or all of these risks.

Not exactly. "High levels of the hormones progesterone and estrogen during pregnancy can temporarily loosen the tissues and bones that keep your teeth in place. This can make your teeth loose."

I doubt there are many women who got married after 2 weeks who stayed happily married forever, but I hear what you're saying. Maybe milestones based on how long you've been with someone really don't matter at all and the only thing that matters is how they respect your boundaries. But setting and expressing boundaries and learning if they're truly respected takes some time, no? Especially since some guys are so good at faking it in the short term. The thing with aerosol creating a cloud is only a good thing if conditions are perfect. I see it as more of a drawback because if there are any adverse conditions (wind, precipitation) it can blowback hitting you or bystanders. I'm not presenting it as the perfect solution, just as an option for anyone interested in something more powerful than pepper spray but not as lethal as a gun.

benefits of the pepper blaster: - can shoot up to 13 ft (!!!!!!) - not pressurized like spray, so doesn't lose pressure over time. - disables attacker for 45 mins. - easier to grip and hold than spray. point and shoot. - sprays often have a safety lock, the pepper blaster doesn't. faster and more instinctual. - concentrated shot. lower chance of hitting bystanders.

We don't shame women who have prostituted themselves, we shame the men (and women) who pretend sex work is a necessary evil to placate male libido. Porn has warped men's sexual expectations and OnlyFans etc has made men feel entitled to asking literally any woman for nudes and if she's being compensated then he doesn't have to feel guilty. FDS ladies typically care very much about women who are forced into prostitiution and exploited for profit. The whole conversation around "sex work" reminds m…

What you’re going through is normal. Everyone looks at their relationship through rose colored glasses as it’s ending. Cut yourself some slack and allow yourself to grieve your relationship. I saw you have a therapist, which is great - can you increase your meetings temporarily? This phase will be difficult for a while but it’s ultimately fleeting and soon your whole world will be different. Being on your own is scary but so so rewarding.

I think a world made by woman would, in general, be very open and inclusive, even for men. Typically women are better at thinking in terms of what’s best for the collective, what’s best for families and children, and how to protect who is most marginalized and vulnerable in society. I think the biggest difference would be in reproductive justice. Free bc for women and men. Better sex education. Free parenting classes. 1 year paid maternity/paternity leave, at least. I would love to see a language shift in the way we talk about pregnancy. You’d almost think women reproduce asexually the way most people talk about it; “she got pregnant”, etc. Women get pregnant because they are impregnated by men. It’s really time to end the disassociation between men’s sexual pleasure and reproduction.

Devaluing women seems to be the favorite way of male group bonding since they can’t just talk about their feelings in a normal way. I’m interested in how men seek male validation constantly yet male friendships are so deficient in intimacy. It’s like they are overcompensating.

Men think in terms of quantity > quality because the average woman is amazing. If men understood how disappointing the average man is, they would see that getting “heaps” of attention is actually worthless.

I’m glad there’s so many comments about feeling bad for her, because I don’t. Instead of posting a video about how gross your husband is, how about you try leaving. I doubt he’s a perfect angel outside of this particular instance. As I get older, I find it more difficult to respect those who can’t respect themselves enough to want more. We only get one life, do you want to spend it stressing about... messes made by your husband? No. Level the fuck up.

As a child primarily raised by a single mother (who took care of everythiinngg) and a father who agreed to joint custody (only because it was cheaper) I can confirm this. My mom was not my friend as I was growing up, but we’re friends now. I’m not close with my dad at all, he’s kind of irrelevant.

Make it more difficult for yourself to use the apps. Move them to a sub folder within a sub folder. Turn off notifications. There are apps that will disable programs after a certain amount of time has passed, Freedom and SelfControl are two I know of. lol, I was imagining a utopian society where any below average penis would be able to get surgically enlarged and then men across the land would finally be able to please their girlfriends/wives thus improving society as a whole. In reality it would probably make a lot of guys cheat and engage in risky behavior more in general. Oh well.

Idk, lots of men pay for hair plugs. I think it depends on how vain they are and if they can afford it. If there was a surgery that could safely make a man’s penis bigger, I think a lot of dudes would want that, especially guys with micropenises
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy09/02/21 09:05 PM

Absolutely! Also interesting to look at prostitution (aka “SeX WoRK”) through this lens... if sex is “real work” and empowering, why aren’t average white guys doing it? If the answer is “Because they don’t have to,” you have to take a look at who does have to and what power structures are at play.

Sounds about right. Whenever we have a preference on something that’s unchangeable (penis size, height, hairline), it fills them with rage. I wonder if there will ever be “hardmaxxing” surgeries for men where they can get plastic surgery to make themselves taller or make their penis bigger. Imagine how much money could be made from that lol.

Most of us have last names that are our father’s last name. And our mothers and grandmothers grew up with the last names of their fathers, and so on. Every last name is a man’s name, there’s no escaping it. That being said, I don’t see why I should have to change my name more than necessary? People accept male violence like the weather, it just happens and there’s nothing that can be done about it. Men need to be thought of as a class, not the default. This was an interesting post to think about, pit bulls as a whole cause less mayhem than men but are somehow held more accountable.

Most women directly contribute to everything that makes life good and enjoyable. We work on ourselves and try to help the people we care about as much as we can. And the average man feeds like a parasite off those contributions while being praised for being mediocre. The problem is that most men are not conscious of how they benefit from a collective society, they think they’re all “self made”. I think the jury is still out on whether all vasectomies are 100% reversible, but it raises an interesting hypothesis about how men don’t have any accountability in their reproductive role. They either wear a condom or sleep with a woman on BC or they literally don’t even think about it at all. Birth control benefits all of society, why do women have to have all the accountability? And why do men think their bodies are pristine temples that mustn’t be tampered with in any way while we take pills…

Right! If men really truly “knew” from the beginning, they would be proposing to women on first dates all the time. But that’s not something that happens. I think culturally we’re still very enmeshed in the idea that the right woman’s love can transform a man into the ideal partner. Men who are good partners work at it and work on themselves, just like we do.

Ehh I would try to take stories like that with a grain of salt. It’s always easy to say he knew after everything’s already worked out. I mean obviously we all had a good feeling about everyone we’ve ever dated in the beginning. Otherwise it wouldn’t have continued. Not saying it’s all a lie, but it is convenient and more romantic to just say you knew from the start.

It’s hard to relate my relationship with her to a normal friendship because I would never be friends with my mom. She’s not even like someone I would meet within my social circles. And oh I definitely know what you mean about when they try to form an alliance against you, it’s such a betrayal!!! We are rarely in group settings anymore because she is single/unmarried and my brother, like me, avoids bringing SO’s home. So it’s usually just me and her and maybe my brother. She definitely has a pattern of being ignorant to others’ boundaries (especially when it comes to their romantic relationships for some reason) and being kind of embarrassing in general. Or am I punishing it when it doesn’t give me what I want/look how I want? Try to have some sympathy for your body, it works really hard for you. 🙂

So many women think he has to do something really really bad in order to feel justified breaking up. If you feel unloved and unappreciated... umm you probably are. It’s perfectly fine to end things if you don’t feel right. No need to give him another chance when he promises to change because if he wanted to he would have already have done it.

It’s hard out there. One of my closest friends can currently no longer be bothered to text me back and it sucks. The last couple times we hung out she seemed manic and was talking about us taking a trip together and all these fun things, but then we go our separate ways and it’s radio silence. I went to counseling with my ex-bf. I actually think it’s a good idea if you’re thinking of marrying/moving in together. Counseling actually helped me realize I didn’t want to continue the relationship and stopped me from signing a lease with him.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy31/12/20 08:43 PM

Most people wait until things are on fire and it’s too late to salvage the relationship to go to counseling. More couples should go when things are calm and stable. Also more women need to realize if your SO doesn’t treat you with basic respect (or if all the problems stem from a lack of respect), going to counseling won’t fix anything. Easier to just leave.

Yes, one of the biggest realizations has been knowing I have to be ready to walk away from someone I really like and care about if they start revealing LV behavior. This is why it’s so important to keep vetting even after the first few months and try not to get attached. The way they act in the first few weeks is never the same as how they act after 6 months or a year or a couple years.

Basic human needs are water, clothing and shelter. If you want to get more cerebral about it, you could argue sanitation, education, and healthcare are basic human needs. But sex? Lol no. Also rapists don’t rape because they just want to have sex, they rape because they are violent and feel entitled to punish their victims under the guise of sexual gratification.

Omg. I lived in NYC age 23 to 33 (my “prime” dating years) and in my experience, dating was a shitshow. A lot of men use dating apps like a dispenser where they can push a button and have a date whenever they want. My ex I was with for 5 years had a hobby of repairing/tinkering audio equipment. He gave me a broken record player, busted tape player, broken amp, etc as presents, then say he was going to fix them up for me... then it would just sit at his house. When he would finally get them working, he would just keep them. I think I kind of would have preferred to just not exchange presents with him so I wouldn’t feel resentful about giving him a gift and literally getting junk in return 😆

I’ve been vegan for 6 years. I have never met a vegan man I was attracted to. I always end up with omnivores who are comfortable eating vegan food (or at least vegetarian) with me most of the time, but will order chicken or fish at a restaurant. It’s not ideal, food is really emotional for everyone and a lot of men really can’t separate their sense of masculinity from eating meat. Men that joke about steak and bacon to vegan women are scrotes.

Typical LVM behavior, identifying with his “socially awkward” male friends more than his actual wife. But really this goes so far beyond being socially awkward... their behavior is aggressive and boundary pushing, and the dumb BF thinks because he’s not offended it’s a non-situation. I hope she divorces him because if she goes back on this, his friends are just going to keep pushing her boundaries and he will sit back and let them.

Yes the way people generally speak about pregnancy is a huge problem IMO. “She got pregnant” - see how all the onus is on the woman, the pregnancy is something that happened to her, it’s her responsibility. I wish there could be a language shift somehow that reflects that men are 50% responsible (biologically) for every pregnancy. It just seems like there is always this weird imbalance of all the focus being on the woman, people talk about pregnancy like women just magically get themselves pregn…

I don’t know if getting an official diagnosis would help me at this point in my life (I’m in my mid 30s) so I haven’t pursued it. However I do get a lot out of the r/autism sub. I was also fed this myth by my pickme mom and then as I got older realized how completely false this is. Add to this that most men who look good later in life have a woman giving them tips, men that are on their own tend to age the worst from what I’ve seen. I told my ex about wearing SPF to prevent wrinkles and it actually blew his mind that all you have to do is apply it every day in the morning. He had no idea.

They would never go for this because the scrotes would whine about how women would just report false allegations. Instead of trying to fix the cesspool of Tinder, some savvy tech ladies should just invent their own dating app that does a background check, video screening (to verify identity), and required proof of STI screening. I’m not single but I would have happily paid to use a service like that when I was. It would be doubly effective since the worst scrotes wouldn’t even be part of the poo…

Almost all of modern medicine is based around male bodies. It wasn’t until pretty recently that people even realized the symptoms of heart attack are completely different for women. And women are constantly gaslit by doctors, told that our symptoms are just because of anxiety. The case of that woman who had 140 lb tumor that grew from an ovarian cyst in her abdomen comes to mind. Her doctors thought she was just fat. (src)

If you want to talk about ~ “sexual mutual aid” ~ let’s talk about how women can engage in casual sex in a safe, pleasurable, and convenient way.

There are pretty clear warning signs of someone with a chronic drug addiction that would probably come out during the initial vetting process. I still think it’s weird to administer a drug test to someone that didn’t consent to it, especially someone you’re hoping to build a relationship with. It seems like it would be easier to just end things if you distrust them so much. But you do you.

No. These are excessive. I ask to see his ID/driver license (to verify full name/address/age), a Google search on his full name, and a reverse image search on his photos. I would think less about what is normal and more about what is the most safe. If you ask him to get tested and he reacts defensive, aggressive or pushy, then he’s a lvm. Try to focus more on your safety and less on their reaction; worst case scenario you have a lifelong disease you have to monitor. And tbh, I wouldn’t consider giving oral to someone I was dating casually. :/

I’m also in my 30s and obsessed with skincare, vitamins, staying fit, etc. It seems like it’s not the self-care itself that is troubling you, but the feeling of disappointment that you’re never satisfied by it. I say continue with physical self care (as long as it makes you feel good) and explore other more psychological/emotional forms of self care as well. How connected are you to others? Is there anything you can do to serve your community? Helping others can be incredibly healing.

Interesting because don’t other male animals usually have physical characteristics that they use to stand out to females? Horns, tusks, bright plumage, colorful ornamentation... it’s almost like females are the more visual sex since the males’ prerogative is passing on their DNA as much as possible, while females’ prerogative is to find the best DNA possible... 🤔 So it would actually make a lot more sense for females to be more visual Edit- this is called sexual dimorphism .

I’m sorry girl but he played you. The fact you had to bring up exclusivity after 7 months is in itself a red flag! In the future, please vet harder and if he doesn’t bring up exclusivity after 3 or 4 months, just move on. You should also be dating multiple people before commitment is established. Reread the handbook and try to internalize it.

I don’t understand where these women using dates to get a free meal are? I have plenty of female friends out there dating and I have literally never heard of this before I joined Reddit. Maybe there is a tiny fraction of women that do this? But it can’t be enough to justify this widespread FeAR oF bEiNg UsED. I feel like an easy way for both sexes to deal with this is to video chat or at least a phone call before meeting. If it goes well then there’s literally no excuse not to go on a nice dinne…

Gay men can be incredibly misogynistic
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy22/09/20 03:26 PM

Thanks for this! This reminds me of the rules of misogyny: Women are responsible for what men do. Women saying no to men is a hate crime. Women speaking for themselves are exclusionary and selfish. Women’s opinions are violence against men, thus male violence against women is justified. Women and Feminism must be useful to men or they are worthless. Women who go around being female AT men by menstruating and breastfeeding babies deserve punishment. Women should always be grateful to men for ever…

Most if not all of us have been there at some point. Thinking you “did something wrong” and “scared him away” is part of the pick-me mindset. Remember you’re the special one, not him. If he really cared for you, your attachment wouldn’t have scared him away. Please do not check his social media anymore, it’s only going to make you sad and hinder your ability to level up. How long has it been since you last saw him? Oxytocin withdrawal after a breakup is real and it can take a few months to dissi…

“What was really surprising was that there seemed to be an association between advanced paternal age and the chance that the mother would develop diabetes during pregnancy,” said Eisenberg. For men age 45 and older, their partners were 28 percent more likely to develop gestational diabetes, compared with fathers between 25 and 34. Eisenberg points out that possible biological mechanisms at play here are still a bit murky, but he suspects that the mother’s placenta has a role. Woah.

A vast, immediate global-wide decrease in interpersonal violence. It’s actually crazy to think about how different society would be for women. Governments, police forces, every profession all would be women. We could all go wherever we want, whenever we want, talk to whomever we want. There would still be crime, but it would be a mere fraction of what it is now. We wouldn’t have to constantly be contemplating our own death.

When women feel like their worth is defined by their relationship, it’s not hard to see why they’ll jump through all kinds of mental hoops to avoid breaking up. Add to that the idea you’re going to “max out” at 30, so many women feel like they should accept what they get. It’s so sad because it may seem like it’s easier to stay in a crappy relationship rather than go through a traumatic breakup, but it’s always better to be single than to be with someone who makes you feel insane.

If you have a kid who’s truly sociopathic, there won’t be anything you can really do about it. Luckily most people aren’t clinically sociopathic. Traits like empathy, kindness, patience, and generosity can be developed like a skill. If a young boy is raised to value those traits, he’ll be fine. The thing is that most boys aren’t raised to value those traits. Which is why so many men go through life being self-absorbed jerks until then one day suddenly “get it” when they find themselves the fathe…

Hey, a lot of us have been there, I know I have. I know I definitely used sex like a drug in the past to make myself happy and to feel wanted. If you deal with anxiety/depression, it can easily become a negative feedback loop where you feel down, you try to get “high”, then you feel bad about what you did, repeat ad nauseam. I used to be like this. Once I realized I didn’t actually owe them a reason, it became a lot easier. The fact you want to leave should be enough of a reason, any additional info is a bonus. It’s totally acceptable to just be like, “Well it’s been nice to meet you, I’m going to head out now!” But if this is too much, you can have a …

Befriend introverted ladies. Befriend ladies that are different than who you usually hang out with. I’m thinking his texts sound impersonal because he’s probably telling other women he’s seeing to also “have a wonderful day!” And he said he loves you after a week but he is happy to go weeks without seeing you? Yikes

Her approach is really soft and I get the sense she doesn’t want to call out those specific types of men or incite any type of aggression. The interview is more about the importance of the continuance of asking for what you want after getting married, not just before. But yeah she does get into how men expect compliance and how they often don’t even realize they expect it, but she doesn’t explicitly blame them. I agree with her that it’s a “collusion” between multiple parties (including other wo…

Tagged this as Strategy because she talks about how the perception of the institution of marriage is meant to benefit men and children, not wives, and why it’s so important to ask for what you want after you’re married so that you can remain your authentic self!

Number 2: Always trust your gut feeling. For the ones who have trouble differentiating between an insecurity and a gut feeling- an insecurity mainly makes you question your own character, or a trait, or a body part, basically it makes you question you, whereas a gut feeling makes you question the other person. I'm not asking you to be extremely critical either, your gut feeling will come from your body, it will make you repel from the situation in your mind. Do not ignore that gut feeling. Somet…

I’m sorry OP. I can’t imagine how hard that is to go through right now after having a baby, dealing with depression/anxiety, and just the general state of the world right now. Please do not say anything to him that indicates that you know he’s cheating. Collect as much evidence as you can in any form you can - emails, screenshots from your phone, receipts, photos - and please get to a lawyer ASAP. Best of luck to you and your baby. I agree to an extent. The difference is you let those feelings/memories wash over you and let them pass, whereas this guy decided to get vengeance using his gf and then flipped out when she told him no. It’s all about choices.

I don’t know why you two broke up but it doesn’t bode well that he sent this message just as you were starting to get over him. When this situation has happened to me it’s been because he was rejected by others and needed an ego boost. If it feels off to you, it probably is... I would ignore him tbh

This so weird to me. I would never even dream of asking anyone (much less someone I wanted to date) to drive out to see me, insist on a high end restaurant, then at the end say “are you gonna pay for your food or..?” It’s just so rude!

This literally describes a guy I wasted a whole month on. All he ever had was “Hey how are you, want to get a drink somewhere?” It just got so pointless so quickly. I already have friends I can grab a drink with. It was like the boredom he felt in his own life just seeped out of him and into my life lol. This dude still randomly calls me sometimes at 2 or 3 am and will leave a slurred message asking me to call him back 🤦🏻‍♀️

29 is kind of a weird age; maybe you feel self conscious about getting older so you’re giving off a negative vibe? Also, 29 is extremely young! If you eat right, exercise, get adequate sleep and focus on things that make you happy you’ll be a fox well into your 40s :)

I personally find it a huge turn off if someone goes on and on about the how’s and why’s of their most recent breakup. By doing this, they make themselves seem fixated on the past and unready to date. Be positive, but vague. No need to go into a ton of detail so early.

Just wanted to chime in that D-mannose is awesome and I would recommend it to anyone who suffers from chronic UTIs (and doesn’t want to drink cranberry juice). It’s also hella cheap, I bought a big bottle for $20 and even though I don’t need it anymore I keep it in the fridge just in case

He was a pretty clean guy so I wonder if he was asymptomatic...This is amazingly useful info. Thank you so much for sharing! It’s wild how women are conditioned to think we are “dirty” and automatically think sexual health issues are our fault. I’d love to see some formal studies about this.

This is wild and kind of unbelievable that it’s not talked about more, but also... women’s health issue so no one cares I had several UTI’s and multiple yeast infections with a previous long term boyfriend. It went away when we broke up and never came back despite me sleeping with other people since then. Guess he just had a lot of bacteria :(
