5 Every so often put a sticky note on something in the house, saying why you bang it. “I bang this lamp because it lets us read together at night” or “I bang this table, because it is where we share dinner conversations”.

When I started reading seddit, I worried that too many girls would find out what we were up to and call us out on it. It took a while for me to realize that girls want to be seduced!

Really, if you want to practice this stuff the best thing to do is not chase this girl at all. She is your roommate, if you get along well together you'll spend a lot of time together and end up becoming boyfriend and girlfriend. If you just want to hit it and move on to the next, then unless she is incredibly secure she isn't going to be comfortable with you bringing other girls home. If you want to practice seduction, go after girls that are hard to meet (ie, cold approaching). There are many …

A lot of people come across "The Game" and get into it because they are lonely people. People who aren't lonely often are not interested in learning it. I was certainly lonely and sad before reading this stuff taught me to put myself out there, and now I couldn't be happier. It has been a long journey, and its certainly not over.

I've been with a couple of girls who "weren't cool with it". Turns out they weren't cool with it because they were worried I would think its disgusting. After the first time, they were cool with it.

Something that helped me come to this realisation was Carl Sagan's Cosmos. I'm not kidding, it really brings you back to reality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pa1ImgOcOPM

I am a newbie and this is my first time really trying anything. I was at the college world series last night and my friends and I sat next to a group of hot girls. I positioned myself strategically next to the group of cute girls and began watching the game. It was around the fifth inning when I decided to say something. I said "wow, you're really cute." I tried my best to push out a smile. The girl and her friend looked at me like I was a creep. "Fuck, I am not myself with cute girls around me.…

Well said. I hate trying to program vcrs. On a related note, a problem I've found is that reading too much and not doing enough ends up causing you to think too much while you're out in the real world. You might think that by reading a lot, you're going to be prepared for every possible situation. In reality, when you get to those situations you'll end up thinking too much about whether you're "doing the right thing" and thus stifling yourself. You end up giving too many fucks, not enjoying the …

Agreed, I'm in a bit of a dry spell at the moment, and somehow the fact that I know I'm improving makes me more patient and less desperate. When I first got into this stuff I was feeling really impatient and wanted to just find somebody.

Limiting beliefs are limiting. There are so many posts saying "I can't do this because...". Every time you hear yourself saying something like that, think of it as an opportunity. Sure, maybe its unusual for a younger guy to be hanging out in a coffee shop (it's really not). But its also unusual for guys to approach attractive girls who are complete strangers. That's not to say its bad, its just not the societal norm. The idea of all this is that all these situations become normal in your world.…

I think you're actually in agreement with OP. My interpretation is that OP was saying don't use "I'm just here to have fun" as an excuse not to approach. You went out for the purpose of picking up, so do it. I've had plenty of nights where I just drank and didn't open sets because I was "just out to have fun".

I'm about a quarter of the way through and so far I gotta say, I really like his approach to it. He suggests that the "Just do it" method rarely works because of physiological programming, and often ends up leaving you feeling like "God, I'm such an idiot, why didn't I just approach". Instead he gives a gradual set of steps and challenges in order to slowly built up your own comfort through mini-successes.

As a web guy I would suggest increasing the contrast on your text... It's a bit of an eye strain to read both the grey main body text on the light background as well as the dark text on the black menu bar at the top. Otherwise, really interesting content you've got. It's definitely good to hear about these situations from a woman's perspective. I know a lot of guys here disagree saying "girls don't know what they want". Truth is, (straight) girls don't try to seduce girls so they won't have expe…

Agreed, most humour is just randomness. Look at famous comedians - their punchlines are usually just something surprising/unexpected. You can only do this though when you're in a relaxed mood and not caring what people think. Yep, alcohol helps with this, but when you can learn to be carefree without drinking you'll be bawse

I know exactly what you mean. Don't try to grab everybody's attention away from him, you'll come off as attention seeking. Plus, the more you try to be funny, the less funny you'll actually be. Instead, laugh at his jokes and give value. Giving value doesn't necessarily mean making people laugh or being the centre of attention. Be comfortable not being the centre of attention. Once you work out how to do that, its liberating! Also: If there are girls you like there, then strike up a conversation…

You really can focus on anything you like - that's the beauty of it. The idea is just to focus on something, and let wandering thoughts pass you by. Easier said than done - when you start practicing this you'll realise just how many random irrelevant thoughts pop into your head. Acknowledge those thoughts, then bring your focus back to the topic at hand. Different cultures/religions have different ideas of what to focus on (eg, compassion, love, life, death, presence etc) but you can really pick…

How are you kinoing them? When, where and for how long do you touch when you get that reaction? Are you making sure to not look at the spot you are touching? Are you escalating too quickly? If it looks natural, as though you aren't thinking about it when you do it - you should rarely get that response.

I would say a trip to Europe is the (most common) Western rite of passage. I'm starting to think that the majority of guys aren't really interested in improving themselves - a lot of guys will see the community and continue on with their life as usual. There is a relatively smaller number of guys who say "OK, I admit I'm bad with women, and I want to improve. Show me how"

and was searching for a way to connect deeper with others THIS. THIS is the purpose of seddit! So many people have trouble connecting with other humans, it's no wonder that in our society there is so much depression, and a need for therapy. On top of that, once you work out how to connect with people on a deeper level, attracting women becomes natural! That was a great read, very inspiring and its nice to see some tips that apply to seducing employers :D

I think this is so key to hookups. Sex is fun, but if you're using sex just to get some kind of validation for yourself - you'll just end up disappointed.

For anybody at university- you might be able to access the full article via your library website. For those that can't, here are some quotes from the conclusion that I found interesting: "It seems that a young woman has more probability of starting a courtship relation when the male request is accompanied by a tactile contact. Perhaps this effect of touch could be explained by the fact that tactile contact led to an increase in the perception of dominance and sexual attractiveness of the male ma…

After experimenting a bit, I've noticed that I have more motivation to practice when I haven't fapped for a while. But I'm not superhuman, so I still do every 5 or 6 days. More importantly, giving up porn has made a bigger difference for me. It removes that crutch of thinking "Oh its OK, I can just go and fap, I don't need to approach".

This, 1000 times. Socially aware is everything. I was speaking to a couple of my female friends about this the other day and gained some interesting insights. We were talking about strangers approaching on public transport, and the girls were recounting stories about all the creepy guys who had come up to them. Mainly they were agreeing that it was awkward because they just wanted to listen to their music and the guy just kept talking so they politely kept listening. Then I asked, "What if a nor…

I bet a lot of the girls who do hang around to chat on simplepickup are immediately attracted because they were approached out of the blue. Girls know it takes a lot of balls to walk up to a complete stranger and strike up a conversation.

Congrats for getting out and doing it! I went out for the first time alone about a month back, and trust me, once you get out of your comfort zone everything gets easier - with whatever you do. Did you engage with the cockblock at all before you walked away? I like to say 'Hi, I'm [me]... I've gotta go find my friends, have a good night guys!'. That way you seem like you're leaving on your own terms while being friendly and polite, instead of leaving because he came along.

I bet the two girls separated themselves intentionally at the beginning of the night, maybe even making it a competition to see which one got hit on first.

I'm intrigued, I'm in a similar position. I'm really happy with where my life is at in terms of career, study, goals, friends etc. Girls like hanging out with me, but interactions don't seem to go anywhere. Communicating interest and escalation are probably my biggest sticking points, and if I could blame it on anything it would be those. What do you think are the biggest things you've taken away from seddit that helped?

Congrats man! The next couple of days, I start seeing women as a lot more beautiful when I'm out and about (at the mall etc), I get attracted to even those I wouldn't give a second glance previously. I can totally relate to this. After my first time I started seeing girls completely differently. All those people who say "Sex isn't that big of a deal", sure, it's not, but the mindset change between pre and post losing virginity is huge.

I'm not an expert on this stuff, but asking "Do you like me?" seems to me to come across as "I need you to like me.. Do you?". Whereas saying "I like you" offers her your feelings without asking anything in return.

I actually ditched all the PUA stuff a couple years ago because I felt like thats not who I wanted to be. Discovered seddit a couple months ago and everything is so much clearer. This site taught me that being an honest, friendly, great person is almost a requirement for seduction. Seddit is really a gem among a truckload of snake oil.

I've never had this problem with paying for meals, most girls I've dated will feel bad if I pay and offer to pay for the following date. Works out pretty well as we then take it in turns to pay for the whole meal. Of course that's fair if you're both on incomes, but if I was working full-time and my date was a student I think things would be different. Edit I'd also add that I never take a girl out for dinner on a first date, only following dates. I find restaurants the most boring place to get …

Something I've realized lately to get over that fear of doing something is to think of failing as a positive. Like the SimplePickup guys say, strive for rejection. If you think of getting rejected or failing as an opportunity to improve yourself and your tolerance to failure, you'll always come out of every situation a better person!

I had more than I usually would on a night out, ended up still slightly drunk when I arrived at work. I tried not to be too obsessed with my oneitis, and moved between her and the other people I was hanging with. She is a cool girl but I think I'm over the oneitis. In the past every time I started practicing game I ended up getting myself into a relationship, getting lazy, losing my social circles and going back to square one.
