“I want to confess to...” Don’t. Again, don’t. You got two options: Ask her out. If she says “I have a boyfriend” you say “Nice. I’ll see you at <time>” Don’t ask her out and move on. Soft next.

Your parents didn’t grow up and accept the fact that you are an adult with your own responsibilities. Family bonds do not mean they are entitled to ask you to do tasks they can do or must know how to do on their own. Move out.

Past failures in different aspects: relationships, friends, parents, etc. I improve myself so that, at least, I don’t make the same mistakes I’ve made in the past.

This is what my aunt told me one time I was having life conversations with her: Who were your friends 5 years ago? Who are your friends now? Are there any names that answer both questions? I simply let out an empty “damn”. People change and time goes on. Some friends stick around, others don’t.

I wouldn't call Pitbull the next Mozart, but early 2000s Pitbull used to go hard. Look up "Defend Dade" and "Born and Raised." He just realized that money and fame is in music that appeals to the blue pill masses (read: top 40/mainstream/pop music). Basically what Taylor Swift did.

I'd phrase it as her way to see if you are "worthy of her." (Also read that as sense of entitlement)

Unfortunately, losing old friendships is a by-product of taking the red pill. It happened to me. It happened to most of us. They are afraid that the red pill you will leave them behind (crabs in a bucket) or see that you do not conform to their frame anymore. Be strong, man, and ask yourself: do you prefer not finding the red pill and keeping your old friendships or finding the red pill? You know the answer. (It's finding the red pill).

There are posts on TRP about just kino, but this is how I normally run it: Initially you want to stay away from all private areas: breasts, butt and inside of legs. In fact, I'd say stay away 90% of the time from the private areas. Start with shoulder/arm rubs when you're trying to emphasize a point. Just rub it for like 3 seconds and then pull back. Rinse and repeat. Use pats in the head once in a while. When you get kino'd, that's green light that you can reciprocate. I usually kino'd back the…

Frame and abundance mentality are very important when staying in the friend zone, especially if such female friend is attractive. Story time: (TL;DR at the end) Pre red-pill me, a couple of years ago I moved to the city where I live and I was acquaintances with this girl I had met the year before during one of my visits to the city. I enjoyed her company and she was real chill, so when I moved to the city, the plan was to become really good friends with her - which she was since she opened her a…

Yeah, the gym is one of those things that is borderline "shitting where you eat" if your social circle revolves about it. If you just go there, lift, then leave, I guess it doesn't matter. Props on the cold approach. However, I would almost never compliment on looks, especially some girl you just opened. Also, I've gotten used to saying "hey, save your phone number" instead of "can I have your number?". Calibration - that's a great concept. I realized my game is heavy on kino, which means I coul…

Why isn't there a talkTRP sub? Sometimes people just want to talk about their lives through the red pill lens, or how they came across TRP without necessarily having a question. Currently both AskTRP and the main sub do not allow that. There should be a TalkTRP.

In my opinion, "shitting where you eat" is any environment (not just work) where you constantly interact with the people in it. Do you consistently see these girls? If so, then it'd be "shitting where you eat." That definition or any social environment (again, not just work) where you have some form of social value and you may lose it if shit hits the fan.

Shouldn't have social media to begin with, but since you already do, you shouldn't have unfriended her. Just unfollowed. That or start limiting your access to social media in general, not just for her. Log into Facebook, Instagram, whatever, once a month and don't spend more than 5 minutes. It doesn't matter if she is or is not trying to get at you. Remain stoic. When you see her, talk to her normally - even if you're dying inside - just like you would to an acquaintance. Keep frame.

Funny writing style, but I'm having trouble seeing through it. So for bullet 1, you're saying only give attention when you're getting the reaction that you want?

Don't have social media. Or If you need social media to stay in touch with friends and family, delete your current social media, create new profiles and only add said family and friends. When you see in suggested friends people whom you have oneitis over, remove them from suggested friends. Log into your social media once or twice a month.

Everybody is saying oneitis just for the simple fact that this person is in your thoughts and that is making you write the post you just wrote. Oneitis doesn't necessarily mean you literally buy her meals every time you are with her. It means that you simply have her in your thoughts and you're progressively getting invested into her (and you are because, otherwise, you wouldn't write this post). No reason to feel attacked. Just giving a different perspective based on some of the responses here.…

Bullet #2. I don't believe you. As a matter of fact, I'd love to see a post from you solely about it. If you don't go out to places such as bars and clubs, you cannot meet and interact with attractive chicks that otherwise you would never see as part of your daily routine. Obviously I'm not saying one should go out 7 days a week, but at some point you have to. You're welcome. If you eventually arrive in Cali, the not so good areas are: Aguablanca, Siloe, Terron Colorado, some parts of Melendez, downtown Cali, etc. I can't think of more at the time. Hidden gems: Cerro de las tres cruces, Cristo Rey hill, Cali zoo, Rio Pance on Saturdays, Juanchito (nightclubs). There are more, but this is all I can think of right now. If you're white, you will stand out and draw attention wherever you go. This attention is both good and bad: women will be attracted to you (your SMV will be higher by default because you'd be exotic) but you might be a target for mugging and petty crimes DEPENDING ON where you are. If you're non-white (e.g. black), you will not stand out until you open your mouth and people notice the accent. From that point on, see my comment about attention from above. When going out, never show off valuables…

At work there is a group of people that I became friends with and inevitably started to hang out with them outside of work. Unfortunately, earlier this year I did something that upset one of them and since I didn't think it was a big deal, my behavior didn't change - but eventually it made me look like the unrepentant person who does not care about social cues. Let me be devil's advocate: Did you really have to overthink every single action she made? Whether she was lying or not, if you had paid for her meal because she directly asked you, why did it matter to you? Was it that expensive? Is it about pride? Does pride matter that much to you? Couldn't you just enjoy a lunch with a person with whom there is some level of familiarity? Is everything really power games? If so, why did you care? Aren't you over her? Even if it indeed was power games, why did…

She probably wanted to hook up if she sent you a message at 1am, but without more context is hard to tell. "I'm heading to grab a coffee on campus, care to join?" should be "I'm heading to grab a coffee on campus, you should tag along" If she joins, escalate with kino through light touches and I'd say keep it within arms and shoulders. If you're feeling gutsy and the situation warrants it, do light touches on the small of her back, but don't overdo it. You are at a coffee shop and not at the bar…

Good job on approaching, but you should've pulled out in the moment you felt you were wasting your time or were not leading the interaction as someone mentioned already. Let a week go by and hit her up on snapchat to meet up for any of the following: 1. Coffee/tea 2. Pick a book from a bookstore you want to read 3. Day at a museum. If she can't and doesn't counter offer, next.

Are chicks bad actresses? Recently I made this girl from my social circle angry by accident and when we talked about it, she said "you disrespected me. Let's just keep it cool." HB10's don't exist, HB9's are celebrities, HB8's are the most attractive of a city, HB7's are usually what you meet once in a while and you think "wow, she's attractive", HB6's are your normal decent-looking chicks that you see quite often.

"I am ready to next her at the signs of cheating." Sounds like you're still in a relationship mindset with her. You should not be. As mentioned by others, she's now a plate. Thus, you should not care whether "she cheats or not." Meet more girls, flirt with them, etc.

Nah, it's almost impossible to change the beta image she would have of you. Only things like major life events - moving to a new city, financial crises, etc. - or long lapses of time of no contact - years - might (just might) make her forget that beta perception of you.

This happened to me. By the time you start to become attracted, you've been around her too long to change your image from friend to lover. However, I realized this happens because, due to different factors and what's going on in your life, you experience a period of scarcity - but worse yet, YOU ACCEPT IT. The antidote to this is bringing back ABUNDANCE. This way you'll keep your brain in check when it comes to the expectations you're putting in that one girl (i.e. potential oneitis) that in the…

Exactly what happened with my last oneitis. I was not honest to myself with my own intentions and, in fact, wanted to become a friend first. When I told her that I liked her, well, I was indeed just a friend. Don't take things personal. Life becomes much easier. Things are as big of a deal as you want them to be. From this point on, this is not a big deal to you (even if it is). When you see her at work, say hi and be cordial like if nothing ever happened - but don't talk beyond what you need to.

Hypergamy at its finest. Chicks fall in love and get out of love much quicker than guys, while guys take longer to fall in love and get out of love - and that's just nature. However, you have the advantage that as a man, you tend to act on logic instead of emotion. Sidebar like crazy, find a new hobby (e.g. learn how to play guitar) and if needed, delete her phone number (cause you might be tempted to text her), delete her texts, and even delete or deactivate social media as long as you need to …

But keep all that arrogance to yourself. We are humans, which means we are error-prone no matter how good you are at something. That means there'll be times in which you'll need help from others, and if you're perceived as someone conceited, people will be less inclined to help you. This results in isolation. Law 5 of the 48 laws of power: "So Much Depends on Reputation. Guard it with your life." Law 18 of the 48 laws of power: "Do Not Build Fortresses to Protect Yourself – Isolation is Dangerou…

Stop looking for validation from people on this sub by them telling you "yeah, you should've broken up with her." Stop hamstering your breakup. Sounds to me like you wanted to break up with her before all of this happened. You create dread by not paying attention to her, not by making a dumb move like you just mentioned. I recommend you delete your social media, fly low-key and read the sidebar. Learn from your mistake.

These people from high school knew you at your worst and they'll always know you for that. Don't initiate communication with them. If they invite you to stuff, be a gentleman but don't be engaging. If you see them randomly around town, be a gentleman, but don't be engaging. Get off social media if it need be. You'll never move on unless you cut your losses.

Your post implies fear of losing her. This is a sign of oneitis - even if you've been having sex with her. If she finds out, she'll have the power in the relationship (if she doesn't have it already). This girl is not the one. No such girl exists. Unicorns do not exist. And most importantly, This is just your turn.

I believe "don't shit where you eat" is not just at work, but it is any group of people that you see very often. Under that idea, any social circle of friends is also "don't shit where you eat." "Don't shit where you eat" is also any social group (not just work) where you have something serious to lose. (That something serious could be anything).

At first, "THAT'S RIGHT, SHE WAS ONE OF MY PLATES," but then "I would love to close her." If you haven't had sex with her, she's not a plate and you are just another person giving her attention and validation. If you have to post here about her, it means you have oneitis and it's too late. Normally I'd recommend making a move ASAP (go out with her and escalate with the purpose of kissing her), but due to my recent experience with my last oneitis, I recommend soft next (and if you need to, delete…

As much as red pill has changed my life, I hate double standards (which is one of the reasons many men come across this sub). I perceive a double standard in this post in which a man and some women are doing the same action, but the man is being praised while the women are being jeered. In my book, double standards make an argument invalid and also raise questions, which in these case are: Women have the wall, but are we sure men don't? What exactly makes women different from men that provokes p…

At first I thought shit test, but if I'm correct, shit tests are used to determine if one's SMV is high enough. Trying to make OP say he's a feminist does not put his SMV to test. In fact, it was not OP's girl who asked him to drink if he was a feminist (which in that case that definitely is a shit test). I'm just saying that saying beta stuff does not make you such if your actions are TRP. I'm just proposing this alternative way.

I want you to see both sides of the coin: subtle approach (pretending to be a feminist) and strong approach (standing your ground), but first I'd like to mention law 38 of the 48 rules of power: "Think as you like, but behave like others." You stood your ground (strong approach), and things went your way. However: If you had pretended to be a feminist (subtle approach), would there have been ways to get what you wanted (loving time with your lady)? Would you have been apolitical enough to swallo…

Comfort test. "Let's talk about you. Anything special you've been doing recently?" Talk about FORD: family, occupation, forgot that the r stands for, dreams. Ask questions or make comments about the activity/event itself and not her.

"How can one individual take on more high-risk endeavors... Without stressing oneself out?" You can't. An endeavor that does not stress you out taking on is not a risk to you. By definition, a risk should stress you out. As someone already mentioned: when you're about to do something and you feel tingly in your stomach, your throat dries, your words stumble, right before you do it you start having last minute doubts, etc. That's a risk to you.

Awareness is the first step. Welcome to TRP. As many have said, read up the sidebar over and over again. From some of the words in your post, I'll tell you, though: Never be an asshole. Some people mistake TRP promoting asshole or arrogant behaviors, which is a misconception. Always be a gentleman (being a gentleman does not mean be a pushover, though). Being a gentleman is something I recently found out I gotta work on. "Girls just wanna have fun." So should you. Even after taking the pill, you…

This needs to be upvoted or made its own post. Literally that happened to me a few years ago: back then my relationship with my ex-girlfriend became long distance after graduating college and we moved to different cities for our jobs, but we tried to work it out. Eventually she started to talk to me about how this guy hit on her at work, this other guy told her he likes her, etc. Pre Red Pill me reacted every time and never saw what ThePwnter just posted: "WHENEVER a girl starts filling you in o…

"Told her that I won't be staying in touch with her" You should've just soft-nexted her. Also, next time don't give closure, which is what you did by literally telling her you won't be staying in touch with her. This applies for both soft-next and hard-next. Next time, execute your nexting, no words, no telling and that's it.

So a person you "just used to hook up with" (i.e. Not an LTR, not a wife) made you go down a nefarious spiral in your life? Not trying to shame you, but to put things into perspective. The grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side (IF AND ONLY IF you water and nurture it).

Disrespectful way to talk to your LTR. I can't deny, though, that I haven't made a similar mistake in the past. Soft next? As in you're going to break up with her? Send her something along the lines of: "I was disrespectful to you and I shouldn't have said what I said. First girl earned you giving her rides (i.e lifts). She gave you rides and went out of her way when she did it. Second girl is probably joking (but also hasn't earned you giving her rides). Agree and amplify. If feeling ballsy, pressure flip. She might be looking for attention, too, as someone else mentioned.

I wouldn't care about the text itself, but instead if YOU want to go or not. If you want to go: "On my way. I'll see you at <insert time>" and you go see her. If she still replies with more bs, then text her "I understand. I'll head back to <whatever city y'all live in>. Have fun and see ya when you get back." No more texts coming from you. Once she gets back, let her restart communication. If she doesn't, soft next. If you don't want to go: "Thanks for the offer, but I'll head back to <whatever…

Maybe your friend is right and you're becoming arrogant (i.e. "being above everything"). Maybe your friend is wrong and he said that because he's seeing you are improving yourself and dislikes the idea of falling behind (crabs in a bucket). It's on you to find out.

Something that is helping me overcome approach anxiety is talking to strangers that you see in your day to day activities. Just strike a conversation about anything: weather, sports, something s/he is wearing, food, literally anything. It could be small talk or a conversation about the meaning of life. The purpose is that you do it some many times so that you get used to, AT A SUBCONSCIOUS LEVEL, talk to people you don't know. So when you are at the club/bar and you see that girl you want to tal…
