It's definitely petty. Those with critical reading skills should see that it was meant to bolster Mr_Privacy's point about amused mastery.

Today, I just used amused mastery on a man. This man and I were walking into a store with him ahead of me. You have to go through 2 doors to get inside. There are products on display between the two doors. By his body language, for a second, I thought he was going to hold the first door open for me, but instead he lets himself in first and puts just a tiny bit of effort into keeping it open for me. From first door to second door, I look at some of the products on display and in my peripheral vis…

No contradiction in this situation. In which situations below would you write this 22 year old HB7 off as not LTR material? all 15 guys (including you) didn't have to wait all 14 guys didn't have to wait except you all 15 guys (including you) had to wait all 14 guys had to wait except you Though 3 and 4 are preferable to 1 and 2, with this girl being 22, she's not pursuing long-term strategy at 14+ partners (I added the + because knowing what I know now, if I were the OP, I'd just assume this is…

In the future: I'm the most important person here. I'm so important that my time, money, and energy can't be wasted. In the future: "She isn't interested in serious relationships" and "She isn't looking for a boyfriend" Cool. She's not interested in Me. I respect that. I appreciate her letting Me know now instead of wasting My time. I don't care that she told Me indirectly. Now that I know how to read her indirect communication, I can, more efficiently, spend My time, money, energy elsewhere. In…

There's a lot more than listed above. He talks about the dangers of: as many males get older, they tend to think they know it all like some great philosopher, but in the end, they don't know shit, turned themselves into grumpy old men, and have pushed everyone way so they end up alone. deeply religious women, who use religion in a manipulative way, stunting any healthy relationship the hippie/vegan women, who use their beliefs/ideology in a manipulative way, stunting any healthy relationship wom…

throwing around words...without really defining what the hell it means. I think that pretty much describes most of the book. Only useful thing I got out of it was the concept of dominant/submissive, aggressive/passive, ergo masculine/feminine. For without it, there is no sexual tension.

That example is actually very good. When you make them think, they find it interesting. When they know exactly what you mean, then you're boring, not challenging. Everyone can disagree with this or down vote me, but it doesn't matter to me because in my own life experience I've found that when a woman says, "I don't know if that's a compliment" or "I don't know how to take what you just said," they always find that more interesting. Of course I don't mean you talk like this every time because th…

I used to take words literally so when women talked, I thought some of what they were saying was completely stupid or nonsense. Once I figured out there was a double meaning to those words, it was like I was now privy to a whole new rich and secret language. And when women know you know how to speak it, they have more respect for you and let their guard down because they don't feel you're a threat anymore.

You played the long game and are going to come out a winner. You did what any real person would do in this situation, eat the plate of food they made for themselves. Playing the long game means you know she's going to get pissy but it's only temporary. Most beta men are afraid of her ending up pissy and thus cave in. Thus they end up having to fight off more shit-tests/arguments. If you were really intent on eating the entire amount you fixed for yourself, then not sharing was the correct move. …

There was one with 900+ upvotes saying to look at it from her point of view. the tl;dr of it was she fantasized about her fairy tale wedding her whole life so it should be understandable that she was disappointed. The thing of it is that fairy tales are for kids. This guy needs to find an adult.

Not disagreeing with anything you're saying, but for me, I prefer the term complex because it helps me look for other avenues to try. If the avenue is complex, I should try it and see how she responds. Plausible deniability is just one avenue of complexity. Tricking her in some teasing way is another avenue of complexity. If she asks a yes-no question, it's more complex to say anything other than yes or no. If I thought in terms of mysterious, I think I'd end up limiting myself to the twilight v…

For women, I look for some way to pick on them. The rule of thumb I follow is, don't pick on anything that makes her feel good or bad about herself. If at the airport, I 'm walking next to an attractive woman and she trips a little but she makes a nice recovery. If we make eye contact, I'd say with a smirk, "Nice triple somersault back flip. If I was an Olympic judge, I'd give that a 4.6." She laughs, rapport built, start small talk. If I know she was a very clumsy person and she was conscientio…

For point number 3, "air of plausible deniability", when I was beta and got "philosophical" about direct communication, a woman told me that, "I don't like direct. I don't know, it just doesn't seem real." Me: "What do you mean not real?" Her: "Well if it's not complex then there's something wrong there, something fishy. I don't know how to explain it." What would a real person do in this situation, a person who felt disrespected by the other person? A real person would get mad and call her out on it, right?! In hind-sight, you could have not let her see how emotional you got. But, being real is always the correct move with women. Being real encompasses holding frame. Conversations should be fun! Flirting, teasing, generally being playful is fun. A serious conversation is fun too. Even arguments are fun in an adventurous sort of way. Being a dick can be fun. The most important thing about a conversation being fun is: it being fun for you! Secondary to that is being fun for her. "...keep up the same exciting frame...." I noticed you described this as exciting. Exciting fun right? "...realized that i really didn't need to maintain that frame." You make it sound…

A middle ground to treating her like she's a real person? Never! Couple has an argument. The man is clearly in the right. The guy who does whatever it takes to keep her says sorry. It's a fake sorry. He's not truly sorry because he did nothing wrong. He's just saying it to keep her. He's fake. He believes if he doesn't say sorry, she'll leave. If she leaves, he's not getting any pussy. Now she's no longer a person, she's just a pussy. The other guy, who doesn't care whether or not she leaves, kn…

No offense but you missed my point entirely. My point, to use an example is, if you say hello to me and in my language, that word hello is highly offensive, then you're not being nice to me no matter what you think. If you say to me "piss off" and in my language that's a very respectable greeting, then I believe you're being nice to me even though your intent is to be really mean. I certainly don't want people to treat me in a way I don't want to be treated. So if they don't want me to be nice to them, then I'm doing the right thing by not being nice. That's how I reconcile TRP. For those who I believe want to be treated nice, I do. And those who don't, I don't--women especially. No matter what, I treat al…

When you give a fuck, you worry about how she (being any woman you're attracted too) will respond to your actions. When you NGAF, you could accidentally fart in front of her and not care. It's not that you would do something like this but, if it happened, you don't care what she does. You don't care if she rejects you and walks away. I thought this thread was about something else--where game is when a woman (or man) manipulates you. With that in mind, how do I destroy the game? One method I use is: to win the game, sometimes you have to give up the trophy. Because the trophy is the key to their manipulation. If you don't want to play by a woman's rules, then you neuter her.... When she manipulates you with that trophy, as long as you desire that trophy, the longer you play by her rules.

I'll sometimes wait for women to hold the door open for me. One time, just as I was approaching a glass door, a woman on the other side was reaching the handle to open the door too. But seeing me, she stopped, waiting for me to open it. I just looked at her, until she opened the door. The look on my face said, "What in the hell is wrong with you? You reached for the handle and then stop to wait for me to do it?"

it's taking the frame she is trying to push on you, and exaggerating it to the point of showing how ridicules it is, but in a fun/teasing way. It's like growing up and having to hear how important it is to have good role-models. I could never understand this. I never had one nor felt the need for one. What mindset? Be a real person. This means you basically handled this correctly. "I go where the fun is." What real person wouldn't? A man being fake would do: if I want to keep her, I better do what she wants. "...made plans, ...not back out..." Any reasonable real person would do the same thing. Notice how she's the one that calls back or how both of you make up after the "back out" statement? It's the success from you being real. Men are guilty. And if I were a woman who wanted to experience the best in men but find I'm only experiencing the worst, then I'd join a sub called women going their own way. If I were to meet a woman who joined such a group, I'd tell her, "Yeah a lot of men are like that." This as opposed to only hearing, "Not all women are like that, stop generalizing." Their implication being joining MGTOW is of no benefit.

2 methods I found effective: try a few times to keep conversation on track, when she keeps derailing it, say, "This conversation is getting stupid, I'm done." "you're a dweeb" won't get me far. Correct. Because you're being two things: directly...insulting. I prefer to pick on them or tease them in some way which is: mocking them...indirectly. I'll say something nice or neutral but there's an undertone of associating her with something she finds unappealing. Without saying it directly, I insinuate something mocking. The book How to Succeed with Women had one word that helped me and then I sort of just took it from there. That word: misinterpretation. Take your reality and then misinterpret it. Other things I learned that branched from this concept: twist reality, twist logic, pretend. That word pretend; you used to do it all the time as a kid. When that girl convinced you to play house with her? That was both of you pretending. An alternate word: role-play. All of these concepts help you to become...not so …

When you truly internalize not caring what a woman thinks about you, especially one you are attracted to, you have this "knowing" that you can truly be yourself. Image that you are in the presences of a woman you are very attracted to. Then you accidentally farted. When you care, you feel totally devastated. In hind-sight, I don't think it was a matter of what you said was too deep but rather just insulting. You reduced her to a vagina, you reduced the other women to just numbers and basically said you like the other flavors better than hers. That's why she said you were cold. You could, in hind-sight, said the same thing without the insults: "The sex was a lot of fun, but not worth deny myself the fun I have with others. What's even worse than that is the harm that can come to her friends and relatives because she continued a relationship with guys like this knowing she should have ditched the relationship when she saw the red flags. For example the lady who finally ended her relationship with her abusive boyfriend. He ambushed her when she came home one night. Only he ended up not killing her but her sister by mistaken identity.

Somehow you've taken the action of initiating conversation with women and taken it to mean caring and seducing them when that is not true at all. I initiate conversation with women that I have absolutely no interest in. This includes flirting, banter, teasing, with women I would never have sex with. I do it because it is fun. And when it is obvious to others that her and I are having fun, it has advantages. Attractive women who would not give me even the time of day are now interested in getting…

Be real/authentic. You should always have time for that. There is no excuse. Example: attractive female classmate ask for tutoring help after classes. beta says yeah sure, despite not having much time for it but hopes this gives him a chance with her. Alpha says no, because he doesn't have time and let's be real, why should he? If alpha wants a chance with her, he asks her out. Beta gets used and subsequently disrespected. Alpha gets respect.

Was that a better way to do it than just to outright encourage her to come? Yes, and it worked. Though you framed it as such, if you only went running or lifting because you hoped she would tag along, then that's beta. If you were not talking to any woman, would you have still went running/lifting? If not then that's beta. You have to be really careful because women can tell if you're not being authentic.

Sounds like you were more interested in being the group's comedian rather than just a normal person having fun. And if this is true, you oozed of someone who wants others to like him. You should be someone who's trying to figure out why you should be interested in someone else, not the other way around. Women don't like to be insulted directly, which means communicated directly/explicitly and it's directly about them. Example, "Hey that outfit you're wearing reminds me of a clown." When you insu…

Once in awhile, when you initiate and she does want it, say you seriously don't. It's hard core but the purpose is to put her in a state that she thinks she might not always get any from you. In the future such arguments should last at the most ten minutes. When you are in these situations, first ask yourself what any real person, whether male or female, would do in this situation. What would they do if it was a roommate instead of wife and kids. A real person would probably tell the roommate to shoove it and go to the house. That's pretty much your clue to how to properly respond to her. "you are my wife. I should be able to count on you." Then leave. While you are gone, she will re…

With women, the correct response is always the real response; doing what a real person would do. Any real person, whether man or woman, would not tolerate another being upset for a hypocritical reason. Being real is playing the long game. Addressing each argument results in exhaustion and accomplishes nothing. You may have won each point but in the e…

Every time I hear about women's intuition, her "intuition" always has to do with relationships. In a psychology course, I learned that men are tasked-oriented and women are relationship-oriented. So when there is a situation dealing with relationships, of course her intuition will be better than the average man because she's spent her whole life thinking about relationships. If you do anything with enough practice, you gain an intuition about that subject.

It's justification. It's the same thing as when someone commits a crime and explains why it's not really a crime or the crime is actually good (or not as bad as it sounds), or the crime was plain and simply justified. For example, "Yeah, I stole from that business but it's really not that bad because their insurance is going to pay for it anyways." Or, "I had to steal so I could eat." Or, "I prostitute to put myself through college."

Another one I hear is when the guy spent hours trying to diffuse his upset wife/girlfriend because she had a dream of him cheating on her--hours! Every time I was in this situation, I saw it as an opportunity to have fun teasing her. And it lasted as long as the teasing--five minutes.

"Then she brings up her boyfriend." A real person (whether man or woman) does what a real person would. Does a real man find talking about a person's relationship problems fun--a person he use to have a crush on?! Hell no! A real woman might. But not a real man. So you should do what a real man would do: "I don't want to talk about that stuff." It sounds so easy that it's got to be a socially unacceptable solution, but trust me, it's very effective and definitely socially acceptable. I say this …

Respond: "it's complicated...still trying to figure it out." The thing is, when a woman says that, she's only telling you how she feels at the moment. If you said it and meant it, I'm sure you'll agree, that it's more than just a feeling you're feeling right now. If you genuinely said it, it's like a pledge, a vow. But when she says it, it's just a feeling. Watch, two weeks from now, she'll feel like she hates your fucking guts. She's also not just asking for information (yes/no), she wants to s…

I abhor hypocrisy. Long before TRP, when I discovered evolutionary biology, I learned women were just following the best strategy for their biology. I realized that it was hypocritical of me to hate them for merely following their best strategy, for if I was to turn into an anatomically correct female right now, it wouldn't be long before I'd be doing the same damn things women do. The good thing is that this realization also helped me to embrace my masculinity too, for I'm merely following the …

I would have handled it like the boyfriend did because of experience. From experience, if I were in the boyfriend's position, I know she'll try to talk this out with me and twist it in such away that it will look like it was really my fault and she was not the bad guy all along. I won't give her the satisfaction. I would contain my emotions until such time I can let it out in private. "That you can't keep your own woman attracted to you." In flirting, acting cocky should be delivered in the context of fun. You're just having fun with it, whether or not your cockiness is for real. Even if she knows you're just acting, if she can sense you're just genuinely having fun, she knows you're flirting with her. If you're truly, genuinely just having fun, she knows there's no insecurity.

There's a difference between lying about who you are and lying as a part of being playful, fun, teasing, and flirting. The "I like what you're wearing..." said with a smirk is an example of lying (bullshitting) as a part of being playful, fun, teasing, and flirting. 98% of the women out there who were to hear that line from you, would instantly know that you just initiated playful banter with them. As a man, I want the woman every man wants but can't have, because she only wants me. Now if many men have had her, well that shatters that romantic ideal. Correct me if I'm wrong but you're saying why you should approach as a man and it really cost you nothing to do so. I agree with that. I'm merely stating for men and women looking for a long-term relationship they hold certain frames about what they think is worthy in a prospective partner that goes beyond biological needs. Biologically, as a man, I want to have sex with the slut and the virgin. But if I want a long-term relationship, intuition and experience (with a little help from culture) te…

They did not crave sex, they craved wives to bear their children and secure a future for the man in his old age. The man's instincts are based on nature. He wants a committed and loyal bearer of his offspring, not sex. This is what I was implying in my statement you said is incorrect. I'm basically saying that, aside for biological reasons, a woman has this frame where she wants the man (she's attracted to) to chose her, not the other way around, and that is why a man must make the move. Instead, she wants the attractive man that is so attracted to her, that he takes all the risk to approach her. To me, frame is a subset of something else. That something else is to be "real". If I asked you, what does it mean to be real? It would actually be a trick question. Chances are, you would answer that question from your perspective. You're correct it's a generalization. I agree it's not a gender thing. But this is just one more anecdotal evidence to add to my own numerous anecdotal evidence. Women express funniness the same way they communicate: indirection, plausible denial, and sarcasm. (Though from my life experience, I always associated sarcasm as more a male thing. Another observation you reminded me of is men tend to find jokes that are socially unacceptable as funny where as women stick to what is only socially acceptable. Thus men like jokes that involve sex, violence, racism, or bodily excrement like boogers, farts, and poop. Women tend to think of these types of jokes as definitely not funny. If the answer is, I'm not convinced I am …

A philosophy I live by is something I learned from women, but it kind of condenses a lot of what TRP talks about: be real. When I focus on being a real person, women like it--both short and long-term relationships. How do you handle a shit test? Be a real person. Why do women like bad boys? Because bad boys are very real about who they are as a person. I was brainwashed growing up to be fake. You here things like, her happiness is my happiness or a happy wife makes a happy life or do whatever it…

I disagree. It doesn't matter whether or not she's involved or thinks she is. What matters is if you feel this change is necessary and/or beneficial to you period. I will say, sometimes if you do decide to change, you have to let her know that it is your decision regardless of what she thinks. One time my SO and I got in an argument. During the argument, she suggested an idea that was better than my idea. It was such a good idea to me, I proceeded to go with it. This resulted in her getting angr…

This is something I learned the hard way. I call this "being real". It's a phrase I learned from a woman. It's the only advice from a woman about women that I found useful but profoundly so. And it's not like she directly told me this. It's more like I pieced it together through a story she was telling me (I asked her, "What do you mean he wasn't being real?"), other women's stories, and my own life experience. All the shit test and attempts by her to change you is her way of seeing if you're a …

The entire story might not be so much what this lady was doing to you and her boyfriend, as much as it was what she was doing to your date--possibly making your date look bad or putting your date in her place in the female hierarchy.

His entire body language/movement when he says "I don't like gold-diggers" just strikes me as weak--like he's sneaking in a pop shot and then getting the hell out of there as fast as he can. He only gives her brief eye contact when he says it. This is how I'd respond if I was nervous around a woman including that little hand wave he does. I kept asking myself when I saw the video: why doesn't he maintain eye contact when he says this; how come he's in such a rush to leave when he says it; why wa…

"It may mean something different to you now, but it was designed to signify ownership." What about that diamond wedding ring? A symbol that you belong to someone. Notice how women want to remove one tradition, but conveniently leave in place another tradition?

so I told her: "No... The problem here is you took her question literally which is logical. But what she meant was something emotional. She felt something emotional at that moment which caused her to say she needs you and ask if you need her. She was hoping for an emotional answer.

Being REAL is something I learned from a woman, she left a beta because he wasn't being REAL and chose an alpha because he was being REAL. This is probably the only useful advise I've learned from women. Being REAL helps you in short-term relationships and is key in long-term relationships. Most shit test you can pass if you just be REAL. If you have to make a decision that you know will make her angry, decide on what the REAL you would do. There's been posted an article where a guy interviews 4…

If you just be REAL, there is no paradox. At the bar, girl asks you to buy her a drink? "Hell no! I don't know you. Why in the hell would I buy you a drink?" That's being REAL. A real person wouldn't buy a complete stranger a drink just because the stranger asked nicely. Your experience with that "good girl", you don't put up with her bullshit...you don't put up with her bullshit because no REAL person would. You want to do something romantic, I'll repeat that, YOU WANT to do something romantic,…

I briefed 1, 2, and 3 to confirm my thought that this link is really sexist. Look at number 9. If you change genders to race, it's very racists: Walk on the other side of the street when you see a white person is walking towards you at night.

"I hate how you don't say I love you back" "When you said that to me, at that moment in time, you said it with powerful feelings behind it. I wasn't quite feeling the say way at that exact moment. When I do say those words, I want to say it with those same powerful feelings you were feeling." Of course whenever you actually do feel that way, only time will tell.

Predatory? After saying he wants to talk it over sober, this happens. when they first brought it up I stayed quiet - I was ok with doing it but I wanted my wife to say so. and then Sally started giving me head, my wife started giving Harry head, and it had started, we were all having fun. It was exciting. This guy is fully responsible for what happened. And later he doesn't have the balls to except his responsibility; he puts the entire blame on Harry. He's not weak as in victimized; he's weak a…

While talking on the phone with a girl... Me: Oh, you like Star Wars?! Girl: Yes, I'm a big fan. What, does this me I'm suppose to fall in love with you now? [blatant sarcasm detected] Me: No, I'm a big Star Trek fan, a Trekkie. [It should've been obvious to her I'm lying. For the rest of the conversation, which moved on to something else, I never admit to liking Star Wars or being impressed with her being a fan.] Edit: If I remember right, I may have teased her about Trekkies being superior but…

You need to learn and practice this: stop caring about what they think about you. For without their vagina, they are nothing to you--which is no different from how you view men who are strangers to you. Their vagina has no currency in your nation. So there's no reason to care what they think about you. You have to learn, practice, internalize this to the point where if you saw two hot girls whispering to each other about you in disgust, instead of feeling like a worthless sub-man, you actually f…

the feelings of shame, confusion, frustration and such that I feel when I like a girl and fear and doubt paralyses me. This right here on a deep level is a big part of your problem. "When you like a girl..." who you never even went on at least one date with let alone the many times you have to spend with someone to learn if you truly like them? I was able to turn this think around in my life by becoming more selfish (yet respectful), putting myself first before any person (especially women). I n…

Just going to nitpick one thing I see. Don't invite her to run unless you routinely run for fitness. You should only invite her along as merely to have company during your running routine--as if you would have went running regardless if she came. Also when she invited you to go running, and let's just say you had no plans, you should only go because you genuinely thinks it will be fun or it fit in with your running routine. Don't ever go because you think it gives you more time with her--that's …

Best way to protect yourself is to learn how to sense it. When someone gives you a story that doesn't make sense, alarm bells in your head should be sounding off. When they give an explanation and it still doesn't make sense. Those alarms bells should be ringing even louder. This means you're being manipulated, told a lie, and/or not told the complete truth. There are other things to look out for but I can't think of any at this time.

When I don't know how to handle myself, I rely on 2 rules-of-thumb. What would a real person do and what would I do if she were a male friend. This is how I guide myself in being "real". Buddy says to take him out to drinks instead of buying a watch? Chuckle while saying, "Yeah, not a chance." Tell buddy he's welcome to take me out? Wouldn't say that. You paid for dinner last time, now it's his turn? Would you say that to a buddy who lives 30 miles away? It sounds whiny. Ask yourself, what do yo…

What would a real person do? Well it's not the guy's job to figure out why a woman should choose him, it's the woman's job. "Why should you choose me? That's your job to figure it out, not mine." Her mind will be like, well he's got a point that's real. Does any real person DESERVE another? "As to why I think I deserve you. I think that's a bad way of looking at dating. Nobody DESERVES anybody. I'm just on this date to have fun. If I end up having a lot of fun, I'd want to continue having fun in…
