This will be brief, throwaway to avoid connections but I just wanted to get this out there. I've been kind of taken a back by it and a bit wary with my post but I think I've got it together now.

As a bit of context, I'm attending college, first year and we've recently set up a place to have frequent talks from guess lecturers on various topics. This week they invited in a feminist, fairly well know near by, I won't name names, but I mean she was popular enough to attract quite a crowd, including myself, as I wanted to see what she'd talk about.

Naturally she talked about the same old tired talking points that flat out ignored men's issues, despite the common claim that feminism helps men and women. She talked about these cultural factors and "toxic masculinity" and completely ignored such things as the higher work-place death rate and the increased suicide risk. I was kind of upset by this so I went to talk with her at the meet and greet at the end of her talk.

I waited up the back so when I finally came to meet her we were just about the only ones left in the hall. She greeted me warmly enough, and asked me what I wanted to ask so I asked about why she didn't focus on men's issues despite the claim that feminists focus on equality, she told me something about these things affecting men and women equally but that women were more important and need more help through society. This is not the case, obviously, so I told her that she was ignoring men's issues and I made a case for the many issues men face as part of modern society and when I was done she looked me dead in the eye and said:

"What is your point"

So I replied: "My point is that you don't care at all about men, you'd rather ignore their issues than face them head on. You're acting like a coward"

Then she asked me what I'm trying to prove, so I told her that I was trying to prove that she was a liar, and succeeding. Then what she said shocked me. She looked me up and down and spat at me:

"Men are vicious creatures and deserve to be treated as such, there is none more depraved than he, so why should I help them"

Then she got up and strutted out of the hall all high and mighty. Now I was shocked at this point so I just wanted to get this all out because I'm scared frankly, that a person like this is teaching and talking to people.

It is clearly misandric hate speech, I'm sure you'll all agree, so I was just wondering what you think I should do now to make sure she doesn't spread it any further.
