India is a shitty place for all genders. They need female only train carriages because of the massive amounts of sexual harassment/assault. Men are violently beaten over mere allegations. They probably think they're doing a good thing by providing free education to girls, since their education is usually limited. They need to make it free for all genders, but I doubt it will happen any time soon. India has huge problems that will take an incredibly long time to fix, especially since they have so many people.

You are talking about female only train carriages - we have FEMALE ONLY TRAINS and BUSES especially in Mumbai (India's biggest and financial city) with enough frequency during rush hours.

They go almost half filled while men's trains are packed like a bin of sardines. Still you will find women fighting each other in those trains.

White knightism, brutal attacks against men are pretty rampant in Mumbai /India and dozens of deaths happens.

I'm gonna give India a pass on this... I might not be fully informed but from what I've seen about India I think the girls there do need some additional rights in the meantime before they get their shit together.
