"Slut shaming" is a terrible name. People all go around saying slut shaming is wrong and that it's oppressive that girls have sex and get insulted for it while guys don't blah blah whatever etc.

Well, how about this.

Someone who is promiscuous is NOT a slut. Neither guys nor girls should be called a derogatory term for simply getting lucky a lot.

However, here's a story.

My ex girlfriend had an on and off thing for a little shy of 2 years. During this time we dated and broke up, fought and made up, kissed and cuddled, but we never had sex.

Come a few weeks after our final break up and fight, I find out that she's been sleeping around WHILE dating me.

According to very reliable source within her own family, she had sex with someone TWO HOURS before we went out IN A PARK. And just to top it all off, she tells me a month later that SHE GOT PREGNANT FROM IT AND MISCARRIAGED.

I feel that someone like that should define the term "Slut".

Someone who fucks around with someone while being promiscuous on the side. I guess you could say that cheaters are sluts. Sluts are people who harm someone physically and/or emotionally BY being promiscuous. And I feel that those people deserve to be shamed.

And that's my two cents.
