Hey, everyone. My close friend is a waiter at a nice steakhouse and bar in a large city where he stands out as an excellent employee. He is a handsome guy, he's vaguely ethnic in a certain alluring way. He is often harassed at work by customers (from what I've heard they have all been female) who come up and grab his butt and kiss him on the mouth. This is unsolicited, my friend is happily married to a great woman and this hurts him when it happens, especially as he feels responsible to tell these things to his wife. He has tried mentioning it to his management, but his boss (female) laughs while others ask questions like "how did it taste?" and things of that nature. I told him he should file a sexual harassment claim, but honestly, I don't know if that is the best course of action. I tried to look at it if the roles were switched and men that were 10, 15, or 20+ years older than a cute girl came up and grabbed her butt and kissed her if it would be laughed off. I'm a long time reader of Men's Rights and have become more outspoken in my friend group trying to raise the issue and let people know that this isn't okay. I don't want to play the blame game here and talk about how women are awful and there is a double standard. I really want some advice on how to advise my friend, or advice on how he should proceed. Does anyone have any experience in situations like this? Thanks so much to everyone who took the time to read this, and let's remember to treat everyone with respect and dignity.
TL;DR My buddy is a male waiter and is frequently groped, kissed, and hit on by female patrons. His complaints are laughed off by the management, and he doesn't believe anything can be done. What should he do?
