Pretty disgusting but pretty much the norm. Notice how the cop threatens the kid that they will arrest the father and put him in cps if the child refuses to go with his mom? If this court order is in the best interest of the child, why then is the wishes of the child being ignored ? Threatening arrest over a civil matter is a form of violence and oppression, and this happens pretty much everyday in North America. This sort of oppression is basically embedded into the very core of the US legal system , tyrannical US family courts pretty much doing whatever they feel like and people paying the price in jail/prison for resisting everyday . What if that child still refused? Does that mean his father gets arrested ? Why should he be held in contempt later on for his child refusing to go? Whats the justification for threatening cps ? How is that just? Why the hell does this country lock people up over family matters? Family courts are often ridiculous and over bearing and its amazing there isn't some sort of organized resistance against them.
