Feminist double standard on reproductive rights.

If a woman can terminate an abortion simply because she does not want a kid, or a woman can drop a newborn baby off in a safe haven box at a hospital and walk away, no questions asked. Then a man should be able to legally surrender his rights and responsibilities to parent a child he never wanted.

I have mixed feelings about this issue. Obviously there is a double standard there, but is there really a good way to fix it? Where the end result isn't just a bunch of kids who have it worse off than they do currently?

Serious question. Is there a way to balance things that doesn't ultimately result in more kids in worse situations, such as living in a poorer household, winding up in foster care, etc?

Look, there are obvious differences in reproduction processes for men and women.

You are responsible for your actions. If you get a girl pregnant and are in disagreement about whether to keep the baby or not you've made several irresponsible decisions in getting there.

You did not use effective contraception. (Pull out method doesn't work)
Maybe you got unlucky with the contraception, shit happens. The decision to have sex though needs to be weighed with the possibility of pregnancy. You took a risk knowing full well the possible consequences.
You had sex with someone without being on the same page in regards to pregnancy/children. Of course the woman has more say: she has to incubate a baby for 9~ months. You ejaculated and are free to fuck off wherever. She has to literally bear the burden of pregnancy and birth. She's the majority fucking shareholder because she has the most at stake.

I'm not saying that women should not be sexually responsible as well (most of them are pretty careful about who they fuck and whether or not they are on birth control or not), but until male oral contraception becomes available either get a vasectomy (treat it as a permanent measure) or abstain from having sex with women who you haven't already had a discussion on children with and have come to an agreement.
