Hey guys. I need some help. And I am posting here because I feel I would not be taken as seriously in another subreddit. A friend came up to me yesterday wanting to talk about something. Apparently one of her ex-boyfriends was raped by a girl. (Yupp, one of these supposedly super rare cases that almost never happen.) If you are interested in a back story or think it could be relevant, I will tell it. But for now, I will skip it. The long and the short is this girl, Mary, likes this guy, Jim. Mary got Jim very drunk at a party they were both attending. Throughout the night, Mary hit on Jim but nothing that would indicate anything more than casual flirting. Later that evening Mary got him alone where she forced a nearly passed out Jim onto the bed, took off his pants, and proceeded to rape him. During which he screamed for people to help him, including the name of his ex girlfriend. Granted, all of this is only what I have heard. And Jim was supposedly to the point of passing out, so how he remembers this is beyond me. Taking all of this into account, what would be the best course of action? If he says something, the tables could turn onto him and he would be a rapist rather than a victim. I want to help, but I don't know what to do. I feel like almost any action he takes could easily be turned back onto him.

Sorry for the block of text. I will edit it when I get to a computer.
