Actually gender discrimination is a huge thing, if it's against women and in an unfavorable way.

Not surprising. For example, the courts. It has been known and openly discussed for decades that Blacks, on average, get worse punishments for the same crimes. All kinds of mainstream people in media and academia have complained about this.

What has not been talked about is an even bigger gap in the courts than that between Blacks and Whites. Being male, as compared to being female, is actually a worse thing than being Black compared to White.
