Does trying them rudely and insulting them yield positive results?

This is the sort of question that gets a "yes, but please see foot-notes!*"

*If you're autistic, this approach is more than likely not for you, as the odds are that you'll probably blow your own feet off by deliberately being an insufferable dick in order to get laid.

*If you're busted, fat, or a short, smelly, hermetic neck-beard, being "rude and insulting" will be on par with forcing your finger into a girl's face and demanding that they smell it. Also will almost certainly result in comedically-pathetic total self-annihilation.

If they are attracted to you and you’ve already pulled them in enough, pushing them by being rude, insulting, and cocky works wonders and makes them feel the need to qualify themselves to you.
