What's wrong with Russia? I tried reading a few articles on the discrepancy but they blame it on booze. I see alcohol as a symptom, not the cause of the discrepancy. You don't drink and commit suicide at such rates because of a good life. Anyone here from Russia or lived there recently?

Yeah but this is genetic. The shortness of the Y chromosome means it degenerates more rapidly than the X chromosomes.

Female life expectancy has been longer since long before feminism or equal rights or any of those things. Don't fight biology, that is radical feminist's job.
