Actually 17 years is pretty average/high for murder if I remember my crime and sentencing class. (Average is around 10-15?)

Personally, I'm glad she got something. It may be a rather small sentence, but at least justice was somewhat served.

Let's face it, we live in a society that believes women can do little (if any) wrong. The fact that this woman didn't just get a slap on the wrist is a big improvement. Let's work toward making more small victories.

The MRM has something the feminist movement doesn't - facts. Their house of cards will tumble in due time, we just need to nudge it a little.

I think 17 years for murder is legit (in terms of gender bias).

If it sounds low, it's because sentencing guidelines keep getting worse for everything except murder and beating people up. It's like we're in some weird fucked up reality where the two most important things that the law is supposed to protect us from is being ignored in favor of special interests (feminists lobby and corporate lobbies)
