Doesn't seem like a bad idea. Would probably be more hygienic for men who choose to urinate sitting down, as there still are some men who don't place the seat up when urinating standing up.

Also the title and the content of the video are misleading. If there is an option of urinating while standing, it is obvious that the legislation is not aimed at outlawing urinating while standing.

Seen a lot of suggestions like this in the past and I am still a little puzzled on how they intend to enforce something like this? They can suggest and recommend until my ears bleed from their nagging but at the end of the day I am going to pee how ever I like.

Edit: on another note if it is about equality why not install those toilets in the floor that you have to squat over so women to can enjoy the pleasure of peeing upright.
