Good manners and chivalry are not the same thing.

Holding open a door is not "chivalry" Paying for a meal, carrying a heavy bag, offering your coat/umbrella those are chivalry because men do not/will not (normally) do these things for each other, but routinely will do them for women.

Good overall article, very understated as the writer probably doesn't want to get death threats. A huge understatement that kinda sums up the whole issue was, "I think many women still appreciate getting spoiled"
