They have a need to save and have a cushion of money and they will guard it like the goose that laid the golden egg. ... how is that cheap? That is called being smart you dumb bastard. In cases like this I am almost inclined to ask that we start using 'TW'/ 'trigger warning' when linking to such topics.

The dude has the family on his shoulders (the wife says 'I work part time so I do my bit!') by providing cars, house, education, expensive holidays and eating out and these wenches have the audacity to brand him 'cheap'.

The post comes across as disingenous to me. I think she's fishing for somebody to say that the husband is controlling and secretive about finances.

I don't think he's cheap or anything, and it's pretty rude of someone to assume that.

But I hardly think this is a sex issue, to be completely honest, it's basically not even relevant. This is just a forum post about somebody who's maybe cheap and some rude person answering back.
