Based on hearsay (by my assumption from this article)

In the US this would classify as capital murder, drugged, kidnapped, sexual mutilation, and murder. Premeditated? She waited for him to gain consciousness before she murdered him.

It scares me that a partner could make an accusation that of hurting women and children, makes the most painful death possible, justifiable.
