"Dude, when I was fifteen, I was duping thirty year-old women into thinking I was twenty, and seducing them. They could be prosecuted under age-based statutory rape laws. I don't think that's very fair to them, considering it was I who deceived them, and that their assumption of my age was completely founded, evidenced by the fact that they met me in a club, I was smoking, and I was dealing. And the situation is no different for girls who are fifteen and duping men into sex."

Agreed. This case took place in high school, however.

"Maybe if our law would try to attack the real problem, deceiving people into sexual congress, then we'd have a better time of this."

Also agreed.

"Because let's face it, unless there's deception occurring, there really is nothing wrong with two people having consensual sex, regardless of age."

If she had no authority over him (and we're talking reasonable ages, which I think we are), I would agree. The authority she has over him as her student is the problem I have here. In any organization I have every worked in with a formal rank structure, fraternization is not allowed.
