Long story short, a good buddy of mine wants to buy a house with his woman, both of them contributing in a more or less equal matter to the price of the house. I told him if he thought this was a good idea to which he responded that he doesnt want to get into this conversation with me ( he knows my view on certain things with which he doesnt agree ).

I let the subject die down for the time being and didnt pressure him further, but I have a duty towards him as a friend to help him not make a decision he will regret, even if he doesnt want to listen.

So the best course of action would be to send him examples/stories on a regular interval of what happens when you include your woman on a major investment, such as buying a house. Maybe this way he will come to my conclusion himself, without me actively pressuring him.
