I've seen some talk recently on what exactly TRP should be in reference to your career, job, etc.

I saw that one particular poster viewed professional jobs such as doctors, lawyers, etc as "beta bucks" positions while an amateur MMA fighter who works part-time construction was more preferable and more-so an "alpha fucks" situation. He further created a false dichotomy by giving his "alpha" with a dead-end career a more impressive physical form and a rather bad-ass criminal history.

I'd like to totally disagree here. It is my thought that if a man were to attain an athletic form and a position of power (such as a professional job) he would be far more favorable to females and hence a better archetype of an alpha. Whether he exhibited alpha behavior at that point would determine if he was in fact a true alpha. A boxer can still be a beta just as a lawyer can be an alpha and vice-versa.

TL;DR: "Alpha" is a set of behaviors. "Alpha" is prowess in general and not exclusive just to the physical, mental, social, or political.
