Definitely had a laugh at the title.

It offers the opportunity to earn a good salary and progress quickly.

This is exactly the reason I did not go into teaching. With pay freezes... I would be making 20k less if I finished my last year and went into teaching.

Does it really matter? In order to be a teacher of any subject you have to take certain courses. Who here couldn't teach first grade math? So why can't you? You'd need to be properly indoctrinated into gender equity training, classroom management and several other courses. Now you can have 80% Hillary Clintons' and 20% Joe Bidens' instead of only 15% Joe Bidens'. That'll be a big help.
