Male genital mutilation must be banned for infants and boys. Adult men can make their own choice. All children - regardless of gender - have a natural human right to whole and intact bodies.

Religious people can substitute a spiritual ceremony instead of mutilating their children.

Edit: Please copy and pass this message on whenever the issue of male genital mutilation comes up.

The Torah calls for a number of rituals that are no longer allowed, including animal sacrifice and wetting the tent walls with sacraficial blood. You're imaginary friend is going to have to take a back seat to the human rights and human dignity, of the individual.

Don't go to the freerepublic ghetto too often, but this was pretty revealing in

1) showing that conservative groups can be just as anti-mens rights as liberal groups and

2) revealing that there is a strong press on all fronts to portray anti-circumcision advocates as bigoted zealots.

I was over at /r/Judaism due to this precise topic.

They are about as idiotic over there about their religion as it gets. I didn't get the impression that they were very bright.
