Also "joint" custody does NOT mean equal custody. In many cases joint custody means having the children 8 days per month. Feminists seem to present it like it does.

No. The article is simply lying. Here are the true numbers:

Primary custody mother: Mediation: 63% Trial: 44%

Primary custody father: Mediation: 6% Trial: 11%

Joint custody: Mediation: 25% Trial: 40%

Other: Mediation: 6% Trial: 5%

She is using the debunked Massachusetts Study from 20 years ago. They weren't even collecting Data on Physical Custody, and the person that did the study states that it can't be used to support the conclusions these people are continually attempting to use it for.

FYI - in Mass, Legal Custody has nothing to do who has actual legal Physical Custody of the child. It's about 2 steps away from having your parental rights terminated. Joint Legal Custody means you have some theoretical say in where your child goes to school and what religion they are. In the real world it doesn't even mean that.

Understanding that a father can be just as important a parent as a mother is important needs to be stressed.
