I need advice on how to unplug my friend from being a white knight, I genuinely dont want to punish him or alienate him by calling him names. He is cool when we are just guys but when i bring in a girl who he doesn't even know. he is always bootlicking and throwing me under the bus in any opinion i put out. I understand it is male being male. I recently introduced him to a BPD (borderline woman who contributed to her parents death) he has fallen head over heels for her. I could easily set him up to fail because she has ruined every man she has touched. I even somehow managed to convince her, that her last relationship was not her being raped because the guy wanted to end it after she went travelling with some random guy without his consent.
