Hey mens rights, this is basically going to be a crap post but also a plea for some help and advice.

My girlfriend of 1.5 years just threw a fit at me over the phone and I think her mentality personifies some of the stigmas that are wrongly put against men. anyway, she is mad at me for a number of things:

  1. That I have smoked weed in the past and after the first time said I wasn't going to do it again.. i did it 3 more times and was always 100% honest about it. I would tell her because I felt guilty and she would end up forgiving me. Today on the phone she does not believe that I will not try it again and that I have realized that it is kind of a stupid thing to do and I could get in a lot of trouble in my job for it (we have random piss tests). She told me how when she was 14 and was able to make the right choice about using drugs and how i couldn't make that mature decision when i was 22. this majorly pissed me off.

  2. recently I went out for dinner with a girl that knows my GF well and is cool with. it was just a friendly casual get together and nothing physical went on. just good conservation and bdubs wings. on the way home, my GF asked what I was doing and told her the whole truth. she seemed fine with it at the time. But today on the phone she expressed her anger about it and how i wasn't truthful because I didn't tell her before hand that I was going out with her.

  3. I was a college drop out but I plan to finish up my degree eventually. just don't have the money right now. she is going for her masters in nursing soon but will have 70,000 in debt, I am debt free. In our phone convo she held this over my head that she tries harder than me. I have a decent job that makes money, and am currently studying to take a civil service exam to become a cop.

TLDR: my GF doesn't trust me to make good decisions and try hard. how do I convince her that I am?
