No, it is not a victory of any kind because the episode ended with them not pursuing the woman for criminal charges and settling for an apology. It also showed the lawyers counseling the man to move on an forget about it because he didn't have a chance to win and that he should be satisfied with getting the apology. Imagine if the genders were reversed. Would any show seriously portray a woman being raped as something for which an apology is good enough or tell her that she should forget about pursuing the man she knows raped her and not press charges with the police? While it may have been a victory in the sense it showed than men can be victims of women, it also tried to make it seem as if these acts are somehow less devastating and deserving of punishment than when a man is the perpetrator. It also seemed to be trying to tug at our heartstrings for the rapist woman who claimed she did it because she had been objectified all her life and wanted to turn the tables on the power structure. Essentially, it said the "patriarchy" made her do it. I was very disappointed and have come to expect more from the show which is usually pretty good about the whole human rights issues.
