The only thing abusers know is abuse. The only thing the government knows is violence. When any of them see any social problem, they automatically go to abuse or violence as a means to try and solve it. Typically, that means making the problem worse.

I get just as pissed off when people joke about prison rape, indicating that everyone in prison deserves such a horrible thing to happen to them. It wouldn't be a joke if we talked about how funny it is for woman to get raped, and it doesn't make it funny just because it's a guy. It's a horrible fucking thing that should never be made into a joke. It's one of the rare things that actually cross the line

The government aren't endorsing rape. Prison rape is a fact of prison culture. As is prison physical abuse. Exposing kids to these facts doesn't mean you're endorsing them. Your showing them that this happens and that if they were to end up in prison that this would happen to them. It's like exposing kids to gang culture. Showing that the realities of it and how it isn't easy and you could end up dead/seriously injured. Does this mean the government are endorsing murder/GBH? No. Their exposing them to the realities. Same thing.

These kinds of posts makes me question whether I should even bother calling myself a MRA because MRA's seem to do the exact same thing as feminist i.e. engage in rhetoric and prop up propaganda to make their side look like the most oppressed even if it comes at risks of losing logic/rationality.
