This is one of the reasons why I don't come to this board early in the day, it depresses the hell out of me and fucks up my day. No matter how bad you have it someone is always getting fucked over twice as hard.

Probably the doctor with throat cancer has had a significant drop in income while undergoing treatment, but his alimony was not adjusted. Notice they don't mention a figure for him, but rather a percentage.

Nevertheless, it's totally fucked up. This article really speaks to me, as I'm an MD currently headed towards mediation with my wife of 9 years. Her lawyer has tried to paint her as a helpless homemaker, but she is a veterinarian and prior to a year ago was working.

Really chaps my ass how the system is stacked against me.
