I'm a single father with 50/50 custody and because of wages i'm entitled to a small sum of 50$ a month CS from the mother. I know it's laughable and i don't need or want the payments however i find it interesting that i have never received a dime from any source. It's got me thinking where do child support payments actually go? I know my previous child support payments went to the mother as there was a total of over $400 and there was mention of a received payment. However im puzzled as to how nothing has come of this legal mandated action that was made effective in June of last year.

I'm curious to find out if anyone here has experience with the child support system and could fill me in on where axactly this money goes when it is given to the child support office.
