Simply give to the homeless you see?

The innocence project, suicide hotlines or any homeless charities, would be a good place to start.

Try looking into actual services before you say thy serve men...they usually 'serve' by treating men to batterers programs.

The very first male DV victim to get sheltered in Canada happened in April of 2011. There is one shelter...one...in all of Canada that takes male victims in.

There are no options for men, as intended.

Unfortunately I dont know of many. The ones I do know of are family shelters and require the children to be present before aid can be given. They also require at least 50% custody to be eligible for the program.

Ironically (or possibly not) the only resource in my area that helps men is the YWCA.

Emergency rooms and temporary housing. If you build them for women and use state or federal funds you must build them for men.

If this has to be taken to the supreme court it will....the california prison abuse required supreme court intervention.

This probably will as well.

I think we need far more shelters for abused men than we currently have.

However, I think making the current women's shelters gender-neutral is not the way to go. For men, and women, who have been repeatedly abused by their partners, exposing them to anything that could remind them is probably a bad idea, at least in the early stage ones.
