Sounds like mom isn't providing the basics needs here.

Touching and sad if true, but as a parent and teacher I have a hard time believing this is the handwriting of a 7 year old. #1 is sized to actually fit and sized consistently, while everything else is written huge but still fits perfectly. Children don't judge space as well, and likely would have begun writing at one size and then realized it needed to be smaller to fit or could be larger and still fit. Everything is written so that nothing overlaps - #2 never overlaps with anything form #1, the tail of the "g" on #7 doesn't overlap with #8. There seems to be no consistency in the handwriting mistakes. "Iphone4" and her signature seem too perfect, almost as if the writer forgot to make mistakes at that point or just got lazy. And what 7 year old asks for bows, flowers, and 3 puppies? That's the sort of thing I would expect from a 3 or 4 year old, maybe, but not a 7 year old with grammar this advanced.

In short, it looks more like an adult tried to imitate the handwriting of a child.
