I was with this guy at first, then he started saying things like "subarbanite prostitute." I think anyone would agree that a parasitic relationship is unfair. Traditional marriage is fading either way, I've seen multiple articles posted on this same subreddit about less and less people choosing to get married. Also, his assertion that men desire female affection in women don't feel the same is a huge generalization. I mean, this guy is saying men are alone in society, and women "despise" them for showing any emotion/weakness. This sounds like a caricature of the "typical" American housewife. It feels like he's generalizing his own feelings and experiences into "facts."

He also said women have a leg up in every conceivable way, while men have to tear each other apart to compete to gain the favor of women. This is a really narrow view. I don't think anyone would say that women in most of the world have a leg up in every conceivable way. This ignores that women exist outside of the western world... those women do exist, and they are suffering. So wtf? at that.

Women in the US and the west in general have it pretty good, I'm not saying we don't. But when more and more people are choosing not to get married, and when there are huge numbers of men unemployed and being supported by their spouses(remember guys, on here we also see articles constantly about women making more money than men now, and the wage gap being reversed), doesn't the idea that women generally leech off their husbands who work 70 hour weeks seem outdated, if not irrelevant?
