I am glad the school is taking violence between kids seriously. Because we take it seriously between adults, and kids are more vulnerable. Though I also understand that kids that commit violence don't need the same level of punishment as adults.

But the article says the victim is actually the bully, which is typical of schools, but also typical of articles to say.

I don't know what happened, and maybe this was self defense, but I'm glad the school investigates groin attacks as sexual harassment.

It's about the protection of someone's genitals, physically and psychologicaly.

If he was defending himself against a bully he should have used an axe-kick to the collarbone instead. Much more devastating and much more demoralizing to the enemy.
